1. Scalded upper lip
2. Bruised flanks/back
3. Acute gastric erosion
4. Acute lung injury
5. Cerebral oedema with raised intra cranial pressure
6. Large enlarged liver

Cerebral oedema, Bruised flanks/back and Acute lung injury are evidence of severe beatings.

Acute gastric erosion and Large enlarged liver are evidence of chemical injestion.

These align with the initial report of bullying.


That autopsy concluded the cause of death to be ACUTE LUNG INJURY due to CHEMICAL INTOXICATION in the background of BLUNT FORCE TRAUMA

Why did you and the Lagos State Government disregard this report.

Furthermore, there was no evidence of "Acute Bacteria Pneumonia" when the lung was cut in this report.

I guess the gap in these contrary positions ("your report" and the ChannelsTV report) is to confirm the position of the Warri report. I will imagine if there may need to be a rebuttal from the Warri hospital. The family are also within their right to go to courts with both contrary reports

Ps: A caveat for me though. Can you share the link to the source of the report you posted here? We need to be sure it's authentic and from the hospital

2. How can the father "narrate autopsy"? Autopsy is a post mortem examination and not what a "father narrates". It is standard that the report of a Post-Mortem examination is what is legally relied upon even in court
3. Yes the father and students made statements (note I am not trying to invalidate their statements). What is obvious according to the report is that the evidence of their statement does not show up in the Autopsy & Toxicology report. The court cannot rely on hearsay. It has to be evidence based.

You cannot force emotions into an evidence based report.

Lawyers in the house will understand what I meant ...it ought to have been state vs the dowen student involved but state decided not to pursue the case . That doesn't mean the victims family has no other choice. They might decide to pursue it if the believe they ve a case . Only court will exonerate them not lagos state cos you cannot be a judge in your own case

You do not need "Lawyers" to interpret what is straight forward. There is an autopsy and toxicology report made available to the public. Even in court, the judgement will be based on the evidence given by the Pathologist which are detailed in the report. How differently do you think the courts will interpret this I ask again?

Whatever rich kids do may not be as important to this case as basing judgement on emotions. If we cannot prove that the boy's death was caused by the 5, then we should not send 5 kids to jail in a bid to satisfy our emotions.

I sent this report to my wife and she shared sentiments similar to yours. Following this case, I told her last week that people should brace up for an outcome that will be at variance with the "Social Media" narratives and noises. Unfortunately for us many people had spoken and came up with made-up verdicts before investigation could start.

Until we learn to patiently await details of a certified investigation and then query the outcome if need be, we will continue to get disappointed like this.

My take are these
1. From the Autopsy and Toxicology report, this boy died of Severe Infections. This indicts the state of hygene of the boy and the school. I will also blame the school for a weak escalation protocol and questionable medical facility on ground. Could this be a case of careless or unskilled medical personel at Dowen?
2. The boy could have been beaten by the 5 as alleged (I believe he was), but the evidence suggests his death has nothing to do with those beatings.
