I guess the one death he spoke about on TV was a car accident victim. The one knocked down by his convoy.....I think I've helped you with what he'll say when asked by foreign media because I know you guys have reduced our local media house to gossip mail. They dare not ask his lordship such a question. Would it not have been smarter for you to check the meaning of Blunt-Force trauma rather than display glaring ignorance and not realize it? |

Toks2008: Can you place a curse on yourself that if there was at least one dead body at the Lekki tollgate as a result of military or police invasion that you will die before 2022?
If Sanwo Olu himself confimed a dead body then what is this you are writing? Why is it that your young folks are quick to curse when you cannot articulate a reasonable argument? You even argue with twisted information. Sanwo-olu did tell the world on CNN that one person died as a result of blunt force trauma. This is a blunt object, stone, cudgel or any big object on the head and not bullet. It will also surprise you that of the 3 other victims brought to hospitals around Lekki that period, the only bullet wound victim, bullet extracted were pellets from local dane guns. This was captured in the Pathology evidence submitted along with the panel report |

Vaughanlanrewaj: At last, I am vindicated. I wrote here that night that Olu Phillips of Channels TV was at the scene reporting live immediately after the incident and he never reported a single death and I remember his camera showing the scene and interviewed some protesters. I was the first to state here that there's no death in Lekki because as at the time they claimed that dead bodies littered Lekki,Olu Phillips of Channels TV was live on air there at the toll gate! I went online and started seeing corpses and even dead bodies loaded in hilux buses as those killed in Lekki at the same time Olu Phillips of Channels TV was at the scene Olu Phillips himself is a classic toddler of a journalist. How can you on live TV collect a blank casing from someone without ascertaining where it was picked from or where it came from, and then say "we found a bullet, this is evidence...." |

izzou: You don't know shiit. Just shut up and do something meaningful with your time.
There was a particular time the forms for this proposed FHA phase 2 was out. Yes, government officials were the one issuing it. There was a property a family associate wanted to build, and he got the form. That was how I knew about it, about 6 years ago.
So where was FHA when people were building on it for over a decade, and they kept quiet?
Or you think people would spend tens of millions building a property knowing it would be demolished later?
Osibona was erecting 21 floors and the government didn't stop him. It collapsed and then we heard only 6 floors was approved.
So do you think Osibona was stupid enough to start the elevation to 21 without seeking approval? You think he wasn't given?
If you don't have time to think, stop mentioning me You're sounding emotional and daft. So people bought forms from agents and did not go verify at Lands or FHA the authenticity? You're talking like you're perennially ignorant. How can you in the first place embark on a project worth millions without proper checks? Why the lame argument "...where was FHA when people were building on it for over a decade, and they kept quiet?" Why should you want to burden FHA with getting you to do the right thing when ideally you should have in the first place. That you've built over 10years illegally does not make it legal. The Osibona that you quoted makes you come out like you don't even know what you're talking about; You're comparing apples with oranges... 1. Osibona has legitimate Consent and Building approval, these people don't 2. Osibona did not build on illegal land or illegally, these people built illegally and on an illegal land 3. It was reported that 15 floors was approved, where did you get your 6? In your quest to sound legit you're introducing lies. The video in which Osibona was earlier arrested for contravention is awash on social media. While not holding brief for Lagos State government, it only goes to emphasise the fact that contraventions of any sort comes with negative consequences. |

How can you go and buy land without first running a search to ascertain the land is not under government acquisition or encumbrance? The attackers doesn't even know the road to anywhere and we're shooting passers by, including people at a nearby filling station.
They were clearly strangers and just wanted to assassinate ANY high profile name In a convoy like they did to the owner of udala. They Targeted Busy Junctions For More Publicity And Attention. They didn't know any Dr. Chike Akunyili, just paid to kill people and cause fear and panic.
Their plan was to cause enough unrest in the run up to the election to cause a cancellation, or to extort the federal and state government to pay them hefty fees for protection in the election, or risk a situation where voters won't come out.
The army was later deployed at an unknown huge cost, and the planners smiled to the northern banks.

Haven't you seen a person who gave a testimony in court against a highly placed individual but later recanted that the testimony given was false?....It was later discovered that the person was threatened to deny whatever they said in the court!
You guys just love to defend your paymasters without thinking! Even if you confirm she was actually threatened based on the lekki incident or the assailants were caught and confessed to such, you will still deny that such ever happened because you guys are programmed by your 'sachem' to always deny anything against them! Guy, 1. It seems you don't even know how this works 2. As far as the issue is at this stage, she belongs to the past. She has given her testimony it has been captured in the report. No one needs her to make another testimony. 3. The white paper that will be released is going to be the valid document that will guide further action on this. So I wonder what we make of her noise and what is supposed to achieve? Does it make sense to you that someone will try to shut her down when she's said all she has to say? If she recants her position, then she must be a bigger fool. How can you go under oath, and then come to public to recant? Even that script is stale... The big point is to what value is the threat on her life to the current state of things? The train has long pass where she's scripting.
