Why is it our coaching staff are too dumb to reliase we should not leave 2v2 at the back when attacking. Shouldn't ethuhu be staying back to cover our full backs?

Sad news.  sad

Togo footballers shot in ambush
Gunmen have fired on a bus carrying Togo's football team to the Africa Cup of Nations in Angola, wounding players and reportedly killing the driver.

The attackers machine-gunned the vehicle in Angola's oil-rich territory of Cabinda, where rebels have been fighting for independence.

The government called the incident an "act of terrorism". There are reports of serious injuries.

Togo is due to play its first cup game in Cabinda on Monday.

Manchester City striker Emmanuel Adebayor was on the bus but is unhurt. In a statement, Manchester City said Adebayor had been "shaken by the terrible events" but was "unharmed".

In Reference to this thread; Request For A Development Subsection
I have read all the comments and have equally talked with the Admin,  Unfortunately Sections or sub-sections are not just created without a critical analysis and synthesis of it's importance. Hence, we would like to hear the kinds of topics that would likely be discussed in the new Section. when it gets past 50 topics that are worth discussing on the Development section or whatever it might be called, it would give a clearer picture of what should be and not be in the section.
That is a joke right? What kind of critical analysis and synthesis of importance was carried out to create the "Racism, Tribalism, Sectarianism" sub-section? The politics section is full of tribalism threads. Someone is asking for something constructive and you ask for 50 topics? Shocking!

Epic Fail. *rolleyes*

agathamari:
the issue was not that obama bowed but the extent of the bow. this was covered time and time again in the news

in some cultures (mainly the far east) the deeper the bow, the lower rank you are assumed to be.
Indeed. However, it is not the American culture to bow. It is the Japanese culture to bow as a sign of respect. So why did he do it? In my opinion, he sees the Saudi King has higher than himself.

You replied thus:

Your reply was so way of the mark (I'd still answer it nevertheless).

People protest if they feel an election has been rigged e'g Zimbabwe and
there are protesters dying in Tibet, Gaza etc, I don't see the US showing as much zeal as they do here, do you?

Do yourself a favour visit bawomolo's link and you would better understand what am driving at.
The videos are not the point. I've seen tens of videos of protests and death in Iran. The point is you made a reference to American (CIA) unproven sponsorship in regards to the Iranian crisis. It apeared to me you were trying to infer that the only reason the protests are taking place is because America is passing money to the opposition.

As regards to Tibet, Gaza etc why should America put their money where you want it? If you have money then give to Tibet, Gaza, Zimbabwe, Sudan etc. America will give to who America feels like. Peharps China should give to Gaza? Peharps Russia should give to Tibet?

I'd rather they do it themselves.
Are you then trying to suggest those protesters who are dying in Iran are doing it for American dollars? Doesn't make sense.

I disagree. You are adding your own meaning to what they have said. The article cleary states foreign education. It goes on to mention his time in Togo, UK, Yemen, and Egypt. So how did it turn to Western education? The thread title (peharps unintentionally) has misguided people. It's called the Power of Suggestion.

Wait a minute! Where in that article did they blame WESTERN education. The only thing I saw was FOREIGN education. We already know he spent time in Yemen and Egypt.
