Besides, even if they are innocent, have u forgotten what God said in Exodus 20:5?? , where he said, ", for I the LORD thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me."
If something bad happened to me, and you happened to say that to my face. Could I use that same quote for my defence when I burst your eye sockets out of your head?

All too often Israel is portrayed as a secular moderate republic by the mainstream American media, while Palestine is viewed as an aggressive and unsustainable state. In 1998, the then Israeli Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu came on CNN to clearly state that he did not believe in the creation of a Palestinian state. A large fraction of Netanyahu's Likud party (an extremist group in my opinion) holds a similar view, though according to this Wikipedia article, Ariel Sharon changed Likud's official policy with regard a Palestinian statehood.

However, it appears that even Sharon could not placate the more extreme members of Likud, which led him to create the Kadima party in late 2005. In other words, there is a powerful force in Israeli politics that is doing everything possible to see that Palestine never exists—contrary to United Nations resolutions. This force is the Israeli equivalent of Hamas and Hezbolla, the only difference being that it has American weapons to fight with and the American mainstream media is more sympathetic to its cause, making it appear morally superior.
While such extremist views exist in Israeli society and politics, the difference is that they do not strap bomb belts on people and blow up restuarants, buses, and shops. Isreal is a secular state there is no doubt about that. At any one time it may be moderate or more fanatical (this depends on the government in power) towards it's Arab neighbours to the East and only to the East.

This is becos a state of war between these countries still exists, with Arab countries in this area still refusing to recognise Isreal as a country.

As you and I well know, those Arab countires neighbouring Isreal that have established normal relations with it namely, Egypt and Kigdom of Jordan have themselves recently been victims of suicide bombers. Are these countries also "Extreme and Rascist" to Arabs?

Terrorism has no morale cause. It only has morale excuses which it uses to justify it's acts. Tell me what morale rational militia will locate and fire rockets from with residential subhurbs. I just saw a video clip shot on the BBC showing Hezbolla rockets rising from a town towards Isreal. Of course 5-10 mins later the Isrealis bombed the location of the rocket launch.

It's so easy to dupe people and convince them that you did it for their own good. That's what politicians do.
Increased competition by reducing the number of banks? Listen to yourself!
1. Ask any Nigerian (apart from you it seems) and they will appreciate the improved performance and new services that the new banks are able to offer. The inefficiency and wasted space in the banking sector has been removed. You are in support of Goverment firing public servants that are corrupt, inefficient, inadequate etc. Why should the banking sector be different.

2. Why not? Before the consolidation exercise, what competition was there between the hundreads of banks? What services were given to customers. The majority of banks were there to swindle people, or were used by corrupt individuals to launder money. Increased competition between the new banks is pushing them to be more competent in their functions as well as improved customer services.

I don't know why you were (and are still) agaisnt an exercise that has obvoiusly massively improved a sector of the Nigeria. Maybe you had interests in 1 of the liquidated banks, I don't know.

The facts are there for all to see. The banking sector is now far better off. I know you see it. You may choose to ignore it but, they are nontheless.

Good day Everyone,

Please I will like to know where the Jews lived before the begining and the end of 2nd world war?
How did were the Jews relocated to the present location in the mid-east after the 2nd world war?
You will have to go back as far as 1881 when Jews started settleing there and buying land from Ottoman and individual Arab landholders

onanugaola:
One thing I have notice is the fact that an average christians will always support Israel whila a muslim will support Palesinians.
Please remember the most western press are owned and run by Jews, so there is no way they can be fair in their analysis.
The Western press (apart from FoxNews ofcourse) are some of the most critical of Israel. Especially before the WTC, Madrid, and London bombings. In this case several Islamic countries have blamed Hezbolla.

You were using emotionally loaded language to describe a situation that really doesn't need that kind of rhetoric. Stop turing this into a situation where the Israeli angels are being attacked by Shiite devils and that therefore all bets are open. It's a little more complicated than that.
First of all, I never said Israelis were angels and Shiite's were devils. Stop putting words in my mouth. This is about the current crisis engulfing Lebabnon. You would have Israel do nothing? Tell me what else are they to do. They withdraw from land, the terrorist organisations simply move the frontier closer. Even when there is a cease fire they still fire rockets into Israel. For a long time now the Isralis have ignored the rockets coming over but, now the terrorists are crossing the border into Israel itself to attack Israelis. What is the country to do. Or are Israelis expendable?

So please do explain what you feel they should do. Please share your "complicated" view of what a nation should do when it's bordered by nations that still won't recognise it's right to exist. Countries that start wars with it, that sponsor "freedom" groups that use suicide bombers to maim and kill, that are constantly trying to infiltrate it's borders, that launch rockets at it's cities (been going on since Israel withdrew from Lebanon).

Share your complicated view.

You, Sir, are the one that is clueless. You keep dancing around the fact that the rockets fired by Hezbollah cannot be considered carpet bombing, not even by the most inclusive definition (which you provided).
Irrelevant. The effects of the rocket launches does not provide a clue as to wheter or not they can be considered carpet bombing.
And that does nothing to substantiate your clueless claim that the rocket launches by Hezbollah are carpet bombing.
Again, no evidence whatsoever for carpet bombing.
Weather I am wrong or not in this instance is irrelevant anyways. This is besides the point I was trying to make ealier in the thread.

And the firing of these rockets doesn't even meet the minimal definition you used here. There was no extensive bombing of a large target. Hezbollah simply does not have the capabilities to carry out such a bombing.
Irrelevant. It's not carpet bombing
What an eloquence. You should go to Hyde Park corner, you'll definitely attract an audience.
You keep talking about stuff of which you have no clue.

Hezbollah's Katyushas are thought to derive mainly from former Soviet and Chinese stockpiles. Because of their lack of a guidance system, Katyushas have the greatest effect when launched in concentrated numbers.

, Some analysts believe that Hezbollah also has the more potent Zelzal-2 which has a claimed range of 200-400km and can be fitted with a 600kg high-explosive warhead.
None of these are guided or accurate systems, but often accuracy is not important if the target is an urban area.

Northern cities in israel are being carpet bombed by rockets so you're right. The Israeli response is not propotionate. A proportionate response from Israel will be to carpet bomb South Lebanese cities.

Orji is the best Governor of Abia state since Mbakwe of Imo state of which comprises Abia state as at that time. He constructed more roads both in Aba and Umuahia more than any other past governor with the exception of Mbakwe. Mind you this is not my case for him becoming nigeria's president. My own case is, why should the hausas and yorubas set criteria for IGBOS towards becoming nigerias president. Why didn't they do same during the time of their own??.
We can set criteria for anyone of us that wants to rule our IGBO areas, but not for any of us that wants to rule their fishy country called nigeria.
So forget about whatever non existent achievements you claim he has accomplished but vote for him becos he is Igbo? So f@cking retarded.

Yeah. It's surprising how people talk about Israel and civilian deaths and ignore the fact that the whole objective of the terrorists is to achieve as many Israeli civilian deaths as they possibly can. Also they ignore the fact that Israel is actually warning people to leave an area their going to attack. They also ignore the fact that hezbolla is deliberately trying to target large cities and towns to kill people without warning.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sabra_and_Shatila_massacre

http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/programmes/panorama/1381328.stm

Note Article published in 2001
"Nearly 20 years ago the man who is now Israel's Prime Minister, Ariel Sharon, sent Lebanese militiamen into the Palestine refugee camps of Sabra and Shatilla. When they left 36 hours later at least 800 people lay dead after a rampage of murder, torture and rape.

The massacre provoked international outrage. In Israel itself 400,000 people took to the streets in the largest demonstration the country had ever seen. Ariel Sharon was forced to resign as Israel's defence minister. "

When the terrorists carry out an atrocity, the like minded Arabs don't demonstrate. Instead they come out of the street to celebrate Israelis being killed.
