You should hear the way some of these fundamentalists speak. I heard one such suicide bomber on a tape say they love death as much as the Western world loves life.

Another cleric was saying on TV, "the West has the atom bomb, we have the population bomb". Freaks!

terrorists are not stupid, they are people with a logical course but it is the 'logicality' of their actions that we question.
Their cause is not logical. They are cowardly. They blow themselves up so they don't have to live with the consequences while they make up stories about virgins waiting for them in heaven etc so they have inspiration to kill.

Nothing but cowards.

This lie was found out quickly.

Plus more witnesses to the fact that hezbolla (so called "freedom fighters"wink uses civilian areas to launch rockets.
Saniora said the attack occurred in the southern village of Houla, where heavy ground fighting between Hezbollah guerrillas and Israel has been raging in recent days. The Israeli army said it is checking the claims about Houla but repeated that residents in villages in southern Lebanon had been warned to leave.

There was no confirmation of the death toll from security officials, but witnesses said the airstrike flattened five homes in a tribal compound.

U.N. peacekeepers at a post near Houla reported Hezbollah fired rockets toward Israel twice Monday from positions near the UNIFIL base.

Afam:
I guess you always get to benefit more from these exchanges as you don't seem organised and yet you claim to understand what's going on.

Your response on the seizures of lands by Israel simply makes it obvious that you are a religious bigot blinded by hate.

Oh, you were and still are against the war in Iraq? Based on what? Are you protesting against Bush or what?

I find it difficult to understand how someone like you will object to the illegal invasion even though you have it on good authority that Saddam was killing, executing, using chemical weapons against his own people.

Do you really have any set of principles that guide your thought process or do you just support anything based on your mood?

What are your reasons for opposing the illegal invasion of Iraq?

Do not bother about giving reasons for supporting the on-going on in Lebanon as you are simply not making sense.
Before I comment on your post, I want to say that I really, really, really don't give a flying **** of what your perception of me is. Just want us to be clear on that. I've seen the way you think.

Now whether you believe or can't believe my objection to the war in Iraq is irrelevant to me. For official purposes my objection to the war was based on clear lack of evidence connecting Iraq to Sep 11. This has nothing to do with the fact that I think Bush is a slowpoke. And no I am not protesting against Bush but, I will not vote for him if it mattered.

My reasons for supporting Israel's offensive against Hezbolla is already well represented in this thread.

Afam:
I doubt if you will ever seek for justice, peace etc in your life time.
I doubt you will ever stop talking absolute nonsense.

Afam:
But for Iran, the other countries have had their lands seized by Israel and they are trying to get their lands back. Iran supports them just as the US supports Israel.
As for Syria, how can you get your lands (militarily tactical advantagous land) back from a victorious country you fought a war with when you refuse to end the state of war with the country and refuse to recognise the country's right to exist. As for Lebanon, that situation has been discussed at length in this thread already.

Afam:
Nobody can wipe Israel off the map, the comments of the Iranian president notwithstanding. Slowly but painfully, the major players are realizing that a political solution will be better than a military solution.
I wonder if you and the other chorus singers will say the same if it were an Israeli president that said that about one of the Arab countries. LOL, I can just imagine it now LOL.

Afam:
Very interesting point you raised there. Now, before the illegal invasion of Iraq by US and of course supported by Israel Iraq never witnessed a single suicide attack.

Infact, Iraq has never killed any American but for the gulf war before the illegal invasion.

Iraq had a christain (even with less than 3% of the population in Iraq) as the second most powerful man in Iraq.
Yeah and before the US invasion (which I was and still am against) Saddam was freely executing, imprisoning, torturing and using chemical weapons against his own people.

Afam:
So, what brought about the suicide bombings in Iraq today?

It is convenient for you to point out the suicide bombings but, not convenient for you to point out what led to the carnage in that counrty today.

And why has the suicide attacks continued inspite of all the US military might in Iraq? Remember that one man's terrorist is another man's freedom fighter.

Maybe when the current conflict between Israel and Hezbollah goes to a very bad situation you will equally state that suicide bombers are in Lebanon without stating why the conflict got to the level it may get to then.
It is convenient for you to point out that one man's terrorist is another man's "freedom fighter" but, not convenient to point out that the suicide bombers are mudering Iraqis themselves at the rate of 20+ persons a day by detonating bombs in crowded places such as markets, mosques etc.

Maybe when you get it in your head that Hezbolla does not represent lebanon but, has actually forced itself on it, myabe then you will have an epiphany. You know, seeing as you constantly point out you're christain for no apparent reason.

lol davidylan I admire your patience in this situation. I fear you are wasting your time with these so called "unbiased", "fairness wanting", "justice seeking", "peaceful" people.

If the arab militants and extremists in Syria, Lebanon, Iran and the Palestinians put down their weapons, there would be no more fighting.

If the Israelis put down their weapons, there would be no more Israel.

Another interesting fact. More people have died in Iraq from suicide bombers in the last two weeks than in Israel and Lebanon combined.

Another brilliant incursion by Israeli commandos. grin

Reuters news agency quoted an unnamed Israeli naval officer as saying the guerrilla cell was on the second floor of a five-storey block in a densely populated neighbourhood.

"As we burst inside, we hit a number of terrorists inside the apartment with close-quarter shots and grenades," the officer was quoted as saying.

Hezbollah al-Manar television said Hezbollah fighters repelled the attack, showing pictures of spent bullets and a blood-stained concrete floor.

Israel said eight soldiers were wounded in the operation, two seriously. It said a number of Hezbollah militants were killed and several rocket-launchers destroyed.

http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/middle_east/5247670.stm

If Israel had bombed this building from the air. Those Hezbolla fighers engaged by the commandos would have magically become "civilians". Either way bye bye Hezbolla. The clock is ticking. Good Riddance.

You are a lair. The Yesha Rabbinical Council does not control Israeli national or foreign policy. There are extremists in every society of the world. The difference is this extremist group does not kidnap people, or send suicide bombers into buses to blow people up.

So what's your point here?

Israel = WANTS TO EXIST IN PEACE. (Official policy)
Iran = WANTS ISRAEL TO BE ELIMINATED. (Official policy)

Who is the aggressor here?

@nilla & shango,

Mariory:
So the six years of Hezbolla rockets and Israel trying to use the UN is not an attempt at dialogue. hezbolla has attempted to cross the border before but were repulsed by Israeli border guards. Israel didn't take further action. So Israel should sit back and dialogue when the extremists are getting bolder and are crossing the Israeli border to attack?

It appears the only thing that will make some of you see what israel is really up against would be for a terrorist to detonate a chemical or nuclear weapon in Isreal.

Why you cannot see that the extremists do not want dialogue is baffling. Must another Sep 11 happen in Israel? Six years they did nothing. SIX YEARS.
Was there any bombing before Hezbolla decided to commit an act of war and invade Israeli territory to kill and kidnap? Why is it that every time Isreal withdraws from land, it is still attacked?

If Hezbolla isn't taken out this cycle will repeat itself again. Why is Israel able to leave peacefully with Egypt and Jordan but not Syria and Lebanon(SOUTH LEBANON)?

Why do we keep going round in this retarded cycle. These guys do not want peace. They want to destroy Israel. It is their aims as stated on their websites and has been revealed by their leaders and sponsors several times.

You cannot think rationaly with these people. They want Isreal destroyed. That is their goal. They said it themselves.

How many times have there been peace treaties only for it to be broken by the militants. No, the cycle must stop. It must stop now that Israel still has the ability to defend itself. If the shoe was on the other foot, we would have witnessed another extermination of Jews years ago.

Be specific. Are you saying Lebanon does not value the lives of their citizens or Hezbollah does not value the lives of the citizens of Lebanon.
Not Lebanon. The Lebanese authority is not present in Southern Lebanon.

i am saying Iran formed Hezbolla from several shia groups that were active during the Lebanese civil war. You could interpret that to be because of Isreal. You may be right, that's besides the point however.

I am not saying Israel should kill Lebanese civilians, I am saying they have been left no choice by Hezbolla. If hezbolla relocates it's weapons, offices, and war rooms from civilian areas, Israel will not bomb there. After all, Israel has fought wars with Egypt and Syria. How many times did it bomb their civilian areas during these conflicts? None becos these countries value or valued the life of their citizens and do/did not use them as human shields.

Why you cannot see that the extremists do not want dialogue is baffling. Must another Sep 11 happen in Israel? Six years they did nothing. SIX YEARS.

@ davidylan,

all of you silent? did you know me before this Israel vs Lebanon post? NO
you also seem to be forgeting Israel created Hezbollah (Indirectly ofcourse).
Israel did not create Hezbolla indirectly. iran created hezbolla from Shite groups present in the South of Lebanon. Israel went into lebanon to create a buffer zone to protect it's citizens living on the border from PLO attacks. I will say it once again incase your are leaning towards the notion that hezbolla are "freedom fighters" fighting for Lebanon.

Hezbolla is a shia group which seeks the destruction of Israel. It is not, and I reapt not a "freedom fighting group.
