Ofcourse I know what a supervisa is, rate of refusal is very low compared to regular visitor’s visa. I asked a question to better understand what documents are submitted and how credible the application was. Applied super visa for my mother in law and it was approved! Temas: she applied for a Super Visa ( this visa terms are quite different from visitor's visa)..... besides, no two application are same. I applied for my Mum too with no travel history, she got the Visa but only 1 year validity. |

It doesn't matter. My mum aplied for a visit visa with no travel history. Did you state a distinct and convincing purpose of visit? Xplorezee: thanks for your concern , she has not traveled outside Nigeria before too maybe that's y. |

Sorry to hear about her refusal. Could you let us know what you stated as purpose of visit in your invitation letter? Xplorezee: Hi...am Zeenat and am new here. My family(my husband, my kids nd) relocated to Canada last year may as pr. In January i filed for my mums super visa online. Submitted on the 1st of jan. Got a biometrics letter on the 2nd, biometrics was completed on the 6th of jan. But her application was rejected today. Reasons: 1) the v.o wasn't satisfied she would return back to home country because of her travel history. 2) because of family ties in Canada and Nigeria. I will put to bed in a few weeks/days time. Please how can I reapply as soon as possible, and what documents do I need to prove the stated reasons otherwise . Thanks |

Anyone can submit passport on behalf of the applicants as long as you have copies; signed and stamped copy of the passport data page issued when you go submit your application. No individual can retrieve your passport except the applicant; unless you cross a certain age, I think Seniors above the age of 65. Alternatively, you can pay #11,280 to VFS to courier your returned passport to the address of your choice should the applicant not be able to travel back to VFS Jewel80: Hi guys, my mum just did her biometric yesterday in Lagos. She will be heading back to the east soon and I was wondering if it is allowed for my sister who lives in Lagos to go submit mummy's passport when they approve her. What is required for this to happen pls? Authorization is not required for passport submission. They also stopped accepting authorizations for passport retrieval couple of years ago. Applicants either go in-person or pay for courier service. geotherm: Yes. Your mum can give her authorization letter. |

Let me respond if this is for me . tellalexander: How many days itenaru did u state in ur letter (I didn’t attach any itinerary just stated the entry and exit dates) and when exactly did you apply for this visa?
I stated the application date on the original post.
you said you got ur biometric validity letter on February 7,and another one on February 8?? you can’t be sent validity letter twice!
Well, I would have said same thing should i not be following this thread and reading people’s update. You would have been correct if you said this two years ago. Correspondence letter used to be just the final approval letter you received from IRCC after PPR and your profile updates to “Approved”. Back then, you submit biometric for every temporary application. |

With a G-license in Ontario, you might get little discount on insurance but I doubt you would save up to $20 monthly since you will be moving straight to G without graduating through the stages. Discounts are applied based on your personal situation and I have tried to summarize below: 1. Graduating license. i.e. G1 -> G2 -> G. 2. Professional associations. up to 20%. etc Registered Engineers get massive discounts from TD insurance 3. Years of canadian driving experience. varies 4. Beginners driver driver's course = 20% 5. Getting your quotes online = 5% 6. Enrolment in the Driving monitoring and Scoring App. You can get up to 5% for enrolment and up to 25% towards your renewal once you have turned on the app for at least 120 days, driven over 1000kms using the app and scoring not less than 80% on aggregate. 7. and so on... MumofTwins2017: Alright. Thank you. |

You can try square one insurance. It’s very affordable and you will be debited monthly. I pay 23$ a month for my Toronto apartment besides you have the opportunity of selecting stuffs you want covered and pick your maximum liabilities. I’m pretty sure Alberta would be way cheaper RBC and TD quoted me up to 30$ a month for the same apartment. Iwinosified: Good day all, please people in Edmonton should help me with the 'normal' range for tenancy/apartment insurance as our property manager has requested for it. Apartment is in the northwest area. Rbc insurance saying 308cad/annum without the option of paying per monthly for the policy chosen. Abeg what's the norm for newcomers and /or alternatives. Make person no go enter one chance abeg, I thought this bill was supposed to be paid monthly. Also, hubby went for knowledge test today and was told to bring utility bill showing proof of address. We don't have that yet as we have been staying with our family friends. Opened accounts with Rbc and phone lines with public . What other document can be used for the purpose of the knowledge test ? Thank you.pls forgive my typos. Don't want to make mistakes. Please I beg to be added to the Edmonton watsap group. |

Well, my friend's mum was given 5years for the first application with no prior travel history Rijo02: Exactly what happened in this case..........Mother inlaw applied with her first passport and we thought she would get till validity. It was very disappointing that it was just for 1 year. I considered many options of which one was travel history! Now, your response confirms it all.
Thanks |

Yea...It's couriered already. We submitted on Monday we got the dispatch email on Wednesday. We should be receiving it today hopefully. It was super fast than I had expected. Yes, it's Egypt Air. Rijo02: Yea, she will get it before two weeks. Despite the holidays, we got it in 16 days (including weekends). The 24 Jan flight you talked about, I guess its either Ethiopian or Egypt Airline. I monitored those tickets before!!
