@ Markab, you are very good at this home tie thing o!I see have to keep thanking God over again because I didn't do justice to it in my sop at all. I was concentrating on my work experience and giving reasons why I would be valuable in the Canadian economy.

For this particular application, I honestly think the VO was a bit too strict. We have seen approvals here without all this plenty story.

Hello everyone, got my notes few days ago.
The VO stated that we didn't put wedding photos to support my application that it was only marriage certificate, SOP and letter from my spouse. Then no evidence of previous travels which could demonstrate a history of having travelled and returned, limited ties to Nigeria . On balance, VO is not satisfied that ties to Nigeria are sufficient to ensure departure from Canada.
I actually included the wedding photos and wedding IV but they were removed at VFS
Please I need help on how to tackle all these and I wantto know how soon I can reapply.

My spouse is on study permit. 2 years master program which was why I was able to reapply.

Good morning All.I appreciate everyone's contribution in the house. How do I go about applying for GCMS note as I was rejected for study permit due to 1. Purpose of Vistit and 2. Would not return to Nigeria after my Masters program.

Please note that I had travelled to Canada early this year for vacation with my child (Got 5 years TV validity).

SO I'm wondering where I got it wrong. Went online saw different links for GCMS note. what is the right url / link to follow. Also what is the step by step process? How much is it to order for GCMS note?

Gurus please your feedback anticipated and would be appreciated.

Thanks Markab for this info. @BE811APP remember I was a bit confused about this point too, cos my 3 year old son was given a visitor's visa and his sister who is 6 study permit. So I was just wondering if we would need to apply for a study permit while in canada for him to school.

Despite the fact that this thread is dry, I trust informations coming from experience present and past applicants. My questions goes like this:
1. My wife has done her change of names and newspaper publication that every other documents that carries her previous names remain valid as one person. But we have not done any change on her passport because her present passport expires in 2020. Can she apply with the passport like that?.

2. My daughter will be 1year 3months at the time of application, does she require a passport too at that age?

3. Concerning the above no 2 question, will my wife apply for TRV for our daughter separately?
4. If the above no3 question is YES, are we going to back it up with any document apart from her birth certificate?

Hello house! Ayaff come again o my Canadian elders please come to my aid. I am on study permit and I will be travelling to canny next week, my change of name newspaper advert is coming out tomorrow. The plan is once I land my hubby will be planning to apply to join me soon. now my question is will the worn affidavit and the news paper advert page be enough for his application without changing my surname on my passport because my stamped passport still carry my surname or I will need to request for a new passport bearing my new surname in ottawa?
