To those that have landed, kindly help on this one.

I would like to confirm the no of baggage for Egypt Air, on their, website it's quite difficult to decipher, it's stated max weight is 23kg per bag for economy but I could get this question answered "how many". We are planning on going 3-4bags.is this achievable?

On the application status table, the addition document row was changed to "the additional documents you provided have been uploaded".

Finally wife's (AYOOLA03)status changed to APPROVED!

Her request for tuition and living expenses also came with a request for new letter of acceptance and we were given 1month to submit the two. We responded after two weeks and it changed after two weeks and 3days.

Bro... My wife got the same instruction to upload on her cic account and we obliged. Note that we linked her paper application online also. Might be an error on the part of the Vo because normally you are not supposed to use mail correspondence once your app is linked online.

As for me, I don't think there is a crime uploading it on your cic account then back it up with a LOE to explain the scenario. (merge all your documents and upload)

Document submitted by wifey has changed from submitted to "under review" on the deadline date

I submitted the required documents yesterday to CIC through their email and I got the automated response that they received the email.

While playing on mycic account this morning I saw a space where I can upload the required information.
In the letter they sent to me they said I should submit through email but I have also seen a letter from someone who applied through paper and linked online just like myself and he was asked to upload through mycic account.

My fear is that they get tons of mails daily, hope they don't ignore the mail? Should I go ahead and still upload the documents on mycic although I have sent it to them through email?

Please, anyone checked his or her application profile lately? There were some changes and I wanted to know if it's a general thing.

For those who wish to link their paper apps online....This is a step by step approach; i ve asked how to do this severally but no one cared to answer...here it is.



(1) Go to this below listed link
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/e-services/mycic.asp
(2) Click on continue to Gckey
(3) If You've already account created, login with your Username and Password otherwise Click on Sign up to go on next page and create your username, password and security questions.
(4) After creating my CIC account, click link application to this account.
(5) Then select category as Temporary residence and subcategory as Study Permit and extension.
(6) Then select Family name, given name and date of birth option.
(7) Fill your family name(surname), given name and date of birth as per Passport or Application form.
(8.) Next in applicant personal info panel fill Passport information only and DO NOT FILL CITY AND COUNTRY OF BIRTH.
(9) Enter your course start date given on your offer letter exact same as that.
(10) Enter course end date as on offer letter only month and year is given so enter that only don't select the date.
(11) Enter your DLI no. same as given on the offer letter.
(12) Next search for your application.
(13) Your application will be found and can be linked.
(14) You can get real time updates on your paper application online.

I was getting errors and tried the same with mine and it worked so hopefully it ll work for everyone.

Note : In 24 hours you can try only 5 times to link your application and if you exceed that then you have to wait for 24 hours, so be careful about that.

Omo Ladoke, kindly intimate the house with your concise academic plans then come up with your precise questions, I believe gurus with brilliant ideas would definitely respond but from what I can infer from your previous posts, you want to immigrate by all means with no sincerity or definiteness of study purpose. [b]You want to work in canada[b] but I am afraid you can only achieve that on EE if you have the requisite credentials and work experience. On the other hand, If you successfully secure admission for undergraduate/post grad, the Vo might sense some degree of desperation in your package as I've sensed from your previous posts. I am not a VO though


I kind of understand how you feel as an ex-ladokite owing to the fact that our Alma Mata has been shut yet again, but still, be patient and strategic so as to fully actualize your Canadian dream.

@ Markab, and all other good people here, good evening and happy weekend. Please for those that recently applied for sowp via paper route, have you been able to link you application to your online CIC profile?

I've not been able to link my wife's app but have successfully linked my child's application.

When completing the 'Application for work permit made outside Canada' form, there's a section for your name (family name and given names) and another section to capture your maiden name as well as given names. Although the validated form of course picks the family and given names provided as stated on your international passport, could the other maiden name stated in the section provided for it be the reason for one's inability to link the form?

I did paper app bro but linked it online. I guess VO's discretion is at play here. Though I was requested to submit some additional documents before linking my application online in February and I was required to submit through mail,
What I did was to copy the subject of the mail CIC sent and added a RE:... to it, I wrote my story and attached the required documents. Ensure you quote your APP NO in the subject to avoid been ignored.

I uploaded those documents online at the Additional Documents upload tab since the documents were requested for online. If it's paper, I would advise you reply to the mail sent to you and include your Application number and UCI in the subject by editing it. That was what I did when they requested me to upload some documents in February before linking the application online.
