@ vieira Well said, we haven't really missed Ashley that much and i also wonder how long he would keep avoiding matches at the Emirate Stadium.. But the big question is why Arsene always look down on the Carling cup? For God's sake it is a means of asset for any club no wonder we see Mourinho fielding the Likes of Shevchenko, Drogba, Lampard and the rest of his team for it playing it, When will Arsene behave like this? I think he really needs to step up next season and avoid underlooking the carling cup, FOR GOD'S SAKE IT IS A TROPHY!!! I hope we will make it better next season. |

Actually he doesn't even posses the quality of a striker let alone being a "Brazilian" for that matter. He really amazes me. I wonder why he is like this, for God's sake the guy got the power to threathen defenders but why is it that he is so blunt? He should learn from Drogba and Aiyegbeni also with their strength and they are so good; but he's is a different story. CHEERS LORDIMPAQ |

@ busta U've spoken well, What else should i say? |
well well well, Frank Lampard and Steven Gerrard should no longer be considered as automatic choices for England’s midfield. While their performances for their clubs are usually first rate that has never been the case when they play for England. Frank Lampard in particular has had trouble in replicating his performances for Chelsea with England. Indeed, during last summer’s world cup they were both disappointing and with Owen Hargreaves arriving on the scene he should be given one of the central midfield positions and let Lampard and Gerrard fight it out for the other. Great players play great when it really matters. Neither Lampard nor Gerrard had good world cups but as we all know Owen Hargreaves was outstanding in the big matches and was the only England player to convert a penalty in the shoot-out with Portugal. He’s got what it takes to perform top class in important games as he showed at nineteen years old when he starred for Bayern Munich in the Champions league final against Valencia (2001). McClaren, who I don’t expect to be around too long as England manager (he’s mediocre at best and was a typically political choice by the FA) must pick the players that produce for England. In goal Paul Robinson has shown some weakness this season (and during the world cup) and Ben Foster - currently on loan at Watford from Manchetsr United - is probably our best in-form keeper right now and it would be good to see him get another chance in a game that matters. |
GERRARD LAMPARD Skill 8 8 Passing 9 9 Leadership 10 8 Shooting 8 10 Tackling 9 7 Defending 8 7 Speed 9 8 As You can see, Gerrard just shades it scoring 61/70 with Lampard achieving 57/70. In a game of Top trumps, Gerrard would only be ‘Gazumped’ by Lampard in his shooting ability. Off topic slightly, how many other midfielders in Europe would score as consistently high across the board as Gerrard? Sure, there are those who are more sublime in the pass, stronger in the tackle, faster and better at shooting. But he has no weak aspect to his game. He can play central midfield (as a holding or attacking player), in the whole just behind the srikers, as a right winger and also as a makeshift right back or centre half. Therefore (in my slightly biased opinion!), I rate him as the most complete midfield player in Europe…with Fatty Lumplard a close second. In fact why should McClaren leave one out? He should give them both a kick up the arse and demand that they get their act together. It would be such a waste otherwise. Does anybody agree? |
@ Topic I think u still have a problem, but as someone has said. It's between you and your God. Keep it up. |
