Unruly behaviour of Nigerian people/government is part of Nigerias dilemma...so if you are not a mad dog why are you worried about a leash? some people are not aware of their responsibilities as Nigerians. Is it to criticize everything the government do that makes you patriotic? When you just want to continue living in the fools paradise that Nigeria has become. The honest/humble/hardworking combo doesn't guarantee success here. You have to be a sharp guy, cunning like the tortoise because that is the system. Telling you that change starts with you is what you don't want to hear. How then does change come about? The president with the magic wand? You dey jonse... |

I was late to the party. But I must say I'm not one to flatter myself just to get likes. In the face of current economic challenges which have deep roots in the system, some of which the citizenry continue to self impose, cast your stones if you may but I beg to differ and say Buhari is actually light at the end of the tunnel. In a country where the love for money is relatively high because money can buy you respect and a high self esteem (for those who naturally lack it). We now have a president trying hard to make people earn a modest living within so much wealth to steal from. Not one of his electives has misbehaved apart from past misdeeds under a more 'flenjor' administration. Now a soul searching question I have for you is that if all past governments were this conscious about savings, leaving the money in the TSA, increasing capital investment, eliminating 'mago-mago' from our public sector, where do you imagine we'll be today? There is a serious drive for financial accountability under this government and an open book which can't be closed again. God willing in the next election after Buhari we will now have a more socially intelligent president that will unite us more with his policies. Buhari has a lot of well deserved criticism but surely if an election is held today and the candidate is a Jonathan-like person or Jonathan himself, your Tufiakwa will surely sound in Ghana after the campaigns and its time to thumbprint except of course you are sentimentally attached ![]() |
ify2016:is it today you are knowing that most of our graduates are half baked? In fact the probability of her having something upstairs is higher than that of you having something upstairs ![]() |
agitator:see this one. nor be everybody go enjoy the cake o. na so e dey for bible. Some are born to lead some are born to follow hopelessly. |
We have 109 uncouth set of people in the senate and no one wise and honourable enough to say forgery is forgery and crime is crime. |
SeverusSnape:who is ''we all' that is joining you to support corrupt politicians guy answer your papa name oh. There is a sane world made up of sane youths outside nairaland oh. |
I admire greatly these white men and how they have respect for the institution and people they represent. Who wouldn't want to live in a just society where the road to success is a fair one. I'm tired of living in a country where i'm constantly reminded that i have to be delinquent to make it. |
The Igbo man is literally pleading for his fellow igbos to have sense but common sense is not common. |
Pat Utomi is making sense now but give him a political post first, it will then be the case of if you cant beat them you join them. As for his analysis, only those with values would understand. Nigeria doesn't need a restructuring without reshaping the political class. And the political class is made up of the Nigerian people. so the problem lies in the people. If you doubt me go around Nigeria and see what most people ''struggling to make a living'' are struggling doing. Lying, Cheating, Killing, Stealing, Maiming, Taming, Wailing, Derailing. only few are working decently. But we want a country free of all these vices, how? |
RichYoungNigga:sense you no get na to lie down ontop your bug infested bed and be forming richyoungnigga. |
LaExpert:yes it was his friend that did that. |
the only mistake the guy made is in calling Africa a nation. Africa has endemic poverty. But if you are offended by the comment at least reply constructively. |
Jonathan failed everybody. Even the people in otuoke don't have clean water ![]() |
Sick people. Many are mad but few are roaming. |
Some people take political followership to extreme idiotic levels ![]() |
It's better the ministry releases it than Buhari quoting those figures on tv. Having said that, it will be better for Mr president to stop saying things he cannot keep to. |
Not trying to make excuses for the government but seriously the many more profound changes that Nigerians are expecting from our government, those will take time. The structure of corruption and mismanagement which previous governments left behind must first be dismantled before a new foundation of progress can be laid. And President Buhari is no modern-day Hercules. Cleaning Nigeria's equivalent of the fantastically filthy Augean stables of Greek myth is certainly not a one-year job. |
naijaboy756:sorry for your hopeless life. |
4Kemzy:The NDA is actually organized and sensible. The fact that they don't kill or kidnap innocent people in their fight has endeared people like me to them. the government also wasn't expecting them to be aware of the strategic installations to blow up. anyway in this kind of situation the government has to soft pedal and listen to them. 1) it is their land 2) it is their oil so why shouldn't they have a say over it? Moreover we have useless leaders that have misused the oil resources leaving the people to suffer ontop so much God given wealth. |
eyeview:you're the failure because a man that has 400metres to run but is taking last in the first 100m is been considered a failure by you. His tenure is a race and there will be good times also. Those who choose not to be fully ignorant knows where Nigeria is coming from. |
Nigerians have been suffering for a while now and there are still some Nigerians that will continue to enjoy life. The mentality that government will provide everything is wrong. I have made it my responsibility to hustle and provide for myself and to constantly remind people that waiting for the Nigerian government for anything is as futile as waiting for the devil to provide God's blessings. |
This man is not intelligent. He who wears the shoe knows where it pinches. Nigerians know what a clueless drunk you are. |
who doesn't know Nigeria is fantastically corrupt? Funny thing now is that thousands of students carrying chokes up and down will see this and judge her. hypocrites. |
maximilano:nonsense mentality. |
God bless President Muhammadu Buhari's hustle. You shall succeed in your efforts to make Nigeria a great country again. |
jcross19:you are calling the OP a zombie because he gave you information I can swear you didn't have before. Wailing will earn you nothing just a few likes but the fact of the matter is Jonathan /NOI cannot do better than what is being done to take Nigerians out of our misery. The budget, the anti corruption fight, terrorism fight, is it not enough to give the government a chance? to save a sinking ship, the first step is to stop the ship from sinking further. Or does Buhari look like a président that is sitting and folding his hands while you suffer? |
omenka:you think it's better for 1000 brilliant people to benefit than a million poor souls because of a nonsense multiplier effect? |
Unfortunately for the wailers this is a government I trust will deliver. |
helpee:laws are promulgated by a military regime but enacted by a civilian regime...We are in a democracy, correct yourself. |
