Health › Re: I Was 99.9% Dead Due To Fake Drugs, But God Gave Me Another Chance by marvel2011(m): 3:59pm On Nov 05, 2021 |
Freestyl: As shared by Angula Bishop Reuben on Facebook Please read and learn
“I WAS 99.9% DEAD, BUT GOD GAVE ME A NEW CHANCE, FOR WHICH I AM THANKFUL!!! My Ordeal with Malaria, Typhoid, and Fake Drugs When I discovered that my Facebook friend Stella Jam had died of malaria, I was like, what the Bleep? Is malaria still a killer in the twenty-first century? Now I have the answers! I traveled to Makurdi recently with my brother Joe Zex and #Kumashe (our soon-to-be bride). The journey was fun as we stopped from time to time to catch cruise on the way. We arrived in Makurdi that evening, rested, and then resumed our journey to Gboko the next day, going from Gboko to Vandeikya, Vandeikya to Adikpo, Ushongo, and back to Makurdi. The next day, I woke up with feverish sensations throughout my body. I proceeded to a nearby pharmacy, and was given malaria medicines by the pharmacist. After a few days in Makurdi, Zex and I were meant to return to Abuja, but I didn't since I needed to take care of my health issue first. After three days on the medications, I was fine and ready to travel back to Abuja. The symptoms reappeared as soon as I returned to Abuja that faithful evening. I quickly sent someone to a friend who operates a drugstore down the road to fetch typhoid medications, as I do each time I treat malaria. I'm not sure why, but I've been doing it for quite some time. My friend phoned me and demanded that I treat malaria as well as typhoid. I told him that I had already treated Malaria with Amatem (Forte) Softgel in Makurdi. He stated it was a really nice medicine and inquired as to how I used it. I informed him that I took it that evening and continued the next morning. He claimed I took it wrongly, that I should have taken one that evening, then one the next day after 8 hours, and the others after 12 hours each. A claim that I later discovered to be correct. I had to restart my treatment with medications supplied to me by my friend because the pharmacy in Makurdi failed to inform me of the timing. My condition worsened after a few days of taking the meds, as I equally lost my appetite and became quite weak, with headaches and pains all over my body, particularly around my waist. Bananas became the only food I had an appetite for. On Tuesday the following week, I went to the University of Abuja Specialist Hospital for a comprehensive medical checkup with the medications I was taking without results. The medical office staff informed me that I would not be able to see a doctor that same day since there won't be any opening until Thursday. They collected my hospital card and scheduled my appointment for Thursday. I reminded myself that I needed to see a doctor by any means necessary. I was going to knock on one of the consulting rooms' doors, when I noticed one doctor having a conversation with someone outside. I went straight to him and told him that if I don't see a doctor today, I had a feeling I might sleep and not wake up the next day. God forbid, he said. The doctor took my card to the record office and asked them to book me immediately because he was ready to see me. He similarly told the nurses on duty to get me ready right away. God, please continue to bless this doctor for me. Amen. Long story short, they performed RDTs and detected malaria parasites. I handed over the drugs I bought from my friend and was taking to the doctor. He locked eyes with me in a scary manner and invited another doctor from the next door to come in. Lo and behold. They said those drugs were all fake, including the Panadol. I almost fainted. The doctors said that’s the major problem they’re experiencing at the hospital, sadly. The doctors told me that most of the malaria and typhoid drugs out there are either fake or do not have the capacity to heal. They issued me a fresh prescription and recommended I purchase the first item on the list from the hospital pharmacy and the other items from designated pharmacies outside the hospital. The doctors both insisted that I shouldn’t buy alternative drugs but I should demand for the exact drugs written on the prescription list. I quickly did research on the effects of fake and substandard drugs and discovered that the fallout of fake and substandard drugs includes poisoning, untreated disease, instant or early death, and treatment failure. By the time I came out of this mess after more than three weeks, you wouldn't like to see me. I became extremely thin and unattractive. In fact, the weight I had been working so hard to shed at the gym came in through the back door.
If not by the grace of God, by this time people would have been circulating my obituary pictures all over the internet, even the ones who don’t even talk to me now I've decided to share my experience so that you, your family, and friends may learn from it and be more cautious about purchasing medications from untrustworthy sources and refraining from self-medicating.”

OverCalculating: Hi Everyone,
I took a loan from a Microfinance bank sometime in 2019. The loan was N600,000 and I was asked to pay back on a monthly basis for 8 months. I had actually requested for 1.2million naira loan to get an important tool/machine to enhance my business but I was only offered 600k. With 600k I could not afford to get the tool, so I diverted the money to another business. After repaying a portion of the loan for few months, the business failed and I could not afford to payback afterwards. The business was meat distribution to households and offices. It failed because of inadequate structure that gave way for customers to receive products but not pay back. Debt killed the business. I have been struggling to survive since then.
At a point, I called the company early this year, when I got a new job that I know the months of my repayment have elapsed but I am ready to start paying a percentage of my new salary, but they insisted I should pay in full since my repayment is overdue.
Recently, I have been getting several threats from the company asking me to make full payment or else the case will be reported to the police and I would be jailed for absconding with the company's money. I know I am indebted to them but I can't afford to refund all the loan now since I am only managing to live with a job that I am doing now which I earn 40k salary. My concern now is that I need clarifications from the legal practitioners, IT experts and public prosecutors in the house on the following:
1. Is this case truly a criminal case as they constantly remind me or is it a civil case?
2. Can the Police actually track my location to arrest me as they threaten? Please note that I use a small Nokia phone and I am in a remote area outside Lagos.
3.What is the worse thing that can happen; so I can get ready for it because I am not financially buoyant now to cough out 600k now.
Thank you all. hahahahahaha |

LiegeMan: Anger And Vengeance Is Taking The Best Part Of Me
hello nairalanders,
Sorry to disturb your peace but this has been going on in my mind for long and I really need suggestions on how to overcome it. I gave in to ire/anger and it's gradually taking the best part of me since I made a little discovery about my wife's past and how she lived her life while in the campus. I will try and make it as snappy as possible in order not to make you spend much of your time on my case.
Now, it goes this way, my wife came from a middle class family and she attended one of the best and prestigious higher institutions in the country, they're not too rich and they're not poor, infact, their family name can't be in the same sentence with poverty. She had everything she needed and lived her life to the fullest while in the campus, she flirted with and dated the best guys in the campus, she visited many night clubs and other exuberant and flamboyant life style that pertains to the campus.
Now on my own part, I attended one of the Colleges of Education that littered our country, I did everything all by myself, I sponsored myself throughout my stay in the college, I did all manner of odd jobs to survive, sometimes, I would miss lectures due to lack of cash, no one to assist, all these limitations made me not to pay attention towards the opposite sex as I was busy struggling to survive and hoping unto God for a miracle.
Right now, all I am feeling is anger, ire, all I want now is vengeance knowing fully well that while I was suffering and struggling to survive, fasting without praying, carrying bricks and block from one floor to the other, jumping from one market to the other hawking my wares, that my wife was busy somewhere enjoying and partying away her future, right now, I want to have my revenge, I want to live those life that I wasn't opportune to live, I want to flirt and have fun with many ladies both young and old, I want to visit as many night clubs as possible now that money is flowing in, I careless about the consequences and how she may feel, these are exactly what I'm feeling now.
this can't keep troubling me that's why I brought it here for suggestions and elderly advice. Continue, your mates are there discovering the sea route, manufacturing computers and you are there discovering your wife's past life. I pity you |

In view of getting justice one still need to spend his money even when it is clear that justice is truly delayed. My car was stolen through a conspiracy between the mechanic and a panel beater. The mechanic is no where to be found while I reported the case to the police, I was asked to pay a sum of 1k for a statement. Which I gladly pay after a while, I was asked to write another statement with a payment of 3k. An arrest was instituted to arrest the panel beater, I was asked to pay 10k for the two officers who went on the arrest. As the suspect was arrested and brought to the station, the DCO asked for 30k to go on with the case. Although, the suspect is released on bail yet my car is nowhere to be found. Why then would justice be paid when it should be a free service to rescue the helpless too? |

NwaAmaikpe:

I pray all those pregnant women who act like the weight of the world is on them because of a load they happily accepted read this and learn.
Pregnancy is not a disability. We were not there when you were fvcked. We are damn sure you enjoyed most of the shagging. How can you spread your legs wide for a preek, gulp it up in your mouth and when the aftermath of your enjoyment is here, you'd expect me to give up my space on a queue for you or treat you preferentially.
No way.
I tell them and I'd say it again, it doesn't make me a gentleman so don't expect pity from me just because you are carrying a bulge that you got through pleasure.
If I find you attractive, I'd woo you despite your bump, if you fall for me, I'd shag you even harder despite your bump.
To all the pregnant women out there, Carry your pregnancy with all sense of responsibility and expect no empathy from anyone. In due time, our good Lord will make you birth safely.
Till then, a minute of silence to the dead pharmacist who died because of being sluggish. No, she died because she expected people to pity her because she was pregnant.
But that's not a good enough reason for anyone to die but we all know that bandits are monsters. Bros, are you for real? |

I have been so busy fixing my old Volkswagen golf 2 which I bought in 2009. Although, the fault was the underneath which was so bad that you will be seeing the ground as you are driving. I met this mechanic who is promised he will take the car to a panel beater who would fix it for me. I negotiated with him on the phone since I was away for an official trip to Abuja. Just this month, after my last month's salary I have been calling the mechanic's cell phone line, switched off. When I reached out to the panel beater, he said the mechanic had already come and carry my car, claiming I sent him. Both my car and mechanic are nowhere to Br found. Please what will I do now? |

HigherEd: 1) 10 Billion Naira Annual Wage Bill Is A Huge Financial Responsibility.
The Living Faith church established 16,000 churches in rural communities across the country in addition to the already established 10,000 churches it has across the globe. A quick calculation shows that N53,000 gross multiplied by 16,000 new Pastors amounts to an addition of N848, 000, 000 per month. In a year that amounts to N10, 178, 000, 000.
This is huge money for a non profit to shell out of her pocket. Especially considering the fact that Living Faith still has to subsidize all her non profit universities and secondary schools to the tune of billions every new year.
2) Pastorate Work Is Different.
Anyone taking up a pastorate job needs to realize it is different from taking a bank job. For one, your mandatory attention is only on Sunday and some late night or early morning services, plus your scheduled outreaches. You have other time you can still use to do farming or any other freelance job. Therefore, you shouldn't be surprised that the perks available for a 9 - 5, five days a week aren't available. Your statistics are not just correct. You have forgotten that some of the local churches included in your 16,000 churches are pastors who do not receive salaries while the salaries are only meant for state churches and some full-time pastors. |

saphiere: Nigerian doctor calls out his colleague and friend for allegedly sleeping with his wife
A Facebook user, Anthony Chijioke who claims to be a medical doctor, has called out his colleague, Dr. Ozuzu George Davidson For having a carnal knowledge of his wife, WonderTV Media reports.
This comes after people called out the Shine Ye Eyes Big Brother Naija housemate, Boma for flirting with his fellow housemate, Tega, who is a married woman.
According to Anthony Chijioke, his colleague Dr. Ozuzu George Davidson, also called Major, has been a friend with his wife as they both were classmates and teammates for eight years.
Chijioke claimed that Dr. Davidson invited his wife from the United States of America to Abuja where he slept with her for weeks.
Chijioke stated that the accused claimed he slept with his wife because they were not legally married.
Chijioke, while posting photos from his court wedding and marriage certificate, calls on the Senate of the University of Port-Harcourt to take a disciplinary action against his colleague.
He wrote;

He also called out his friend, Dr. Signor Onukwugha Amachukwu for conniving with Dr. Davidson to messed up his wife.
Chijioke claimed Dr. Amachukwu was the person who took pictures of Dr. Davidson kissing his wife.
Chijioke said he was shocked that his friend, who has stayed in his room for years without paying a kobo and was a witness during his court wedding would connived with another person to destroy his home.

Meanwhile, Alleged 'snatched' wife of Dr Anthony speaks up.
According to her, she left Dr. Anthony because he was abusive. She started seeing Dr. George about 6 months after leaving Dr Anthony Chijioke.
Also, when she tried to file for divorce she found out that their marriage is not legal. She still supports Dr. Anthony's parents financially. All these internet marriages and conflicts when will it end? Can't these issues be discussed at a family table rather than bringing them for us here.
