A Nigerian man has left his followers in shock after narrating how he used his house rent to buy a brand new buy iPhone for girlfriend.

The young man identified as Seun said his actions were fueled by pure love and adoration for his lover.

According to the guy, the whole thing happened during his lover’s birthday. Apparently, she had threatened to dump him if he failed to purchase the phone for her.

Feeling like the perfect boyfriend, Seun then decided to take the money meant to settle his rent and bought the phone for his babe.

He wrote:

“It was her birthday. She insisted I must get her a new iPhone X or she calls it quits. Out of love, I used the money for my rent to get her the phone. I have just today to pay my rent.

NEWSObosi community protests arrest of suspect in murder of former Anambra lawmakerPublished on May 8, 2019 By Chijioke Jannah

The people of Umu Ike Diugwu village in Obosi, Idemili North Local Government Area of Anambra State have protested the arrest and parade of their son, Ernest Okoye a.k.a IBB as one of the principal suspects in the murder of the President-General (PG) of Nimo community in Njikoka Local Government Area of the state.

IBB was arrested yesterday by the Anambra state Police Command after he was reportedly traced and arrested in his hideout at old INEC road Awka.

Recall that the PG, Chief Tony Igboka, who is an ex-lawmker of the Anambra House of Assembly, had his body riddled with over 25 bullets three weeks ago on his way home at night.

However, IBB’s kinsmen marched from his family home to Obosi town hall calling on the police and Governor Willie Obiano to intervene and release their son, wondering while Okoye was arrested and paraded by the police after they arrested the prime suspect and declared three others wanted and Okoye was not among them.

The leader of the village and head of the family, Diokpa Onuora, Jonas Onobuogu, described the arrest of Okoye as a set up by those who vowed to deal with him after he (Okoye) was elected chairman of village/family and had contributed to the progress of the area.

“We know Ernest Okoye as a quiet person; he is our chairman; he works with Julius Berger construction as ad hoc surveyor at the site of Second Niger Bridge.

“His arrest was a set up by those who wanted to bring him down after he was elected the chairman of the village after many years those who were in the position refused to step outside even when their tenure had expired.

“We call on Governor Obiano and police to conduct a serious investigation into the matter and release our son because he is innocent of the allegation. Okoye has never participated in any evil thing in this village; he is an upright and honest person who wants peace and progress of our village and Obosi community,” Elder Onobuogu stated.

The oldest man in the family Ogbueshi Mike Maduegbuna said that the allegation against Ernest Okoye was false and a set up to dent the image of the young man and the entire family.

He said that those orchestrated the ugly thing were from the village; they had been in a leadership position for over ten years but refused to step aside but wanted to continue in office forever, saying that the truth must be unveiled by the security agencies that Okoye was never involved in the murder case as alleged.

“We are not happy that some people will cook such falsehood against his own brother. Government should institute an inquiry into the matter. Why did the first suspect arrest mentioned those who committed the murder with him yet the police declared them wanted and after some days the police proceeded to arrest an innocent person who was not among those wanted persons? Something is fishing; it is totally set up, so he should be released,” Maduegbuna stated.

The mother of the suspect, Mrs. Obiageli Okoye said that since his son finished his programme at ESUT, Enugu, he came back home to form Obosi Youth Vanguard to fight cultism in the community.

She said that he was given the nickname IBB by the nurses at the hospital where he was born on the day former military president, Ibrahim Babangida, took over the government in 1985.

“My son is a peaceful man, some children are on his scholarship scheme; he has his own football team called Umuchineke Football Club.

“It was Obosi community that nominated him to represent them as an ad hoc worker as a surveyor at Second Niger bridge project, since that time he will go to work in the morning and come back in the evening. I wondered when he had the time to go to another community to murder somebody; my son is innocent; they should release him,” she appealed.

Beginning from today (Tuesday) containers and oil tankers would start moving goods from Lagos ports through the newly acquired Railway wagons to the north.

The goods would move to the dry port in Kaduna in the North.

The transport minister Rotimi Amaechi had ordered some wagons for the Lagos-Ibadan railway for the purpose.

This measure was designed to ease traffic and gridlocks caused by heavy-duty vehicles from Lagos and roads.

The move to curb the perennial traffic jam in Apapa axis, the Nigeria Railway Corporation resolved to deploy the eighteen newly imported wagons for haulage from Apapa seaport.

The Managing Director, Nigeria Railway Corporation, NRC, Engineer Fidet Okhiria, disclosed that the newly acquired 18 wagons are to boost the inland container dry port business by moving cargos from Apapa seaport to dry ports in Kaduna and other states.

The NRC has the capacity to evacuate 20 footer and 40 footer containers from Apapa port to, Ijoko and Abeokuta, both in Ogun state and Omi-Adio railway depots, in Oyo state, for onward transfer by parked trucks.

The trucks would evacuate the containers by road to their various destinations which most often is either the inland dry port in Kaduna or Kano.

Thieves managed to steal 124 wheels and tyres from 31 cars,that includes trucks and SUVs like the Chevrolet Tahoe and Silverado to cars and crossovers like the Malibu and Blazer,from a Chevrolet dealership in Slidell, Louisiana in one short night without getting caught.

Former presidential aide and staunch critics of the APC led administration, Reno Omokri, has revealed that ex-president Goodluck Jonathan called him and appealed to him to show more respect and kindness to President Muhammadu Buhari.

Recall that Jonathan and the People’s Democratic Party lost to the All progressives congress and President Buhari in 2015, in an historic presidential election which saw an incumbent president defeated for the first time in the history of democratic rule in post-colonial Nigeria.

It was also reported that Jonathan congratulated Buhari while the announced result was 14,932,385 to the 12,638,310 votes scored by Jonathan with only Borno state result waiting to be announced.

Reno Omokri who served as the official spokesman to ex-president Goodluck Jonathan has now described him as the most humble man he has ever encountered.

In a statement he issued, Omokri stated: “I just don’t know how God created Goodluck Ebele Jonathan. I have never met a man, whether Pastor, Imam or Pope, with as much humility as former President Jonathan. He called me and appealed to me to show more respect and kindness to President Buhari. Would Buhari do that to him or Obj or IBB?”

A Nigerian lady in her tweets, revealed why you shouldn't send a minor abroad to study on her own without a guardian. The Twitter user who narrated the ordeal of her cousin, disclosed that she is just less than a year in Russia and already 4 months pregnant. According to her, the girl's mum blocked her on Whatsapp after the school contacted and told her they need $600 to terminate the pregnancy. 

The Nigerian lady who maintained in her tweets that parents should not send a minor abroad to study on her own, stated that the freedom they get outside Nigeria is intoxicating. She tweeted;

Hi guys, I really need some advice

My mom is so troublesome... She's always looking for people trouble, always ready for a fight. In the area in which we live in she has quarrel with all the people.

Our Tenants always move out after their rent has expired, i have tried to talk to her but she doesn't listen. Each time I try to she calls me a bastard and all sort of horrible names and tell me she is going to kill me, countless of times she has used a knife to threaten me.

My dad doesn't live with us but he is worst (I had a rough childhood). My mom has countless of times told me to leave her house which i plan on doing by next year but I can't take this anymore.

She is always being arrested and the worst part is the fact that she is educated. Am pretty sure that she has seen the police station than most policemen, I don't associate with people so not to attract problems to myself because she insults them.

But am tired of always getting her out of trouble.. Pease help me...I really need the help

From your story she has a psychological problem. She's alone, I am pretty sure you don't have a female sister and if you have, she should be small. Now, most women react to resentment or probably on past pains, past feeling that so much hurt them emotionally.
