I hear there are girls who are still single today simply cos their parents refused to allow them marry their preferred suitors. In some homes, once the parents of a girl doesn't like her boyfriend, no hope of marrying that particular guy for the girl. Even if the guy brings his whole village to come and beg for the approval of the girl's parents. Some parents usually size up any guy or suitor that comes for their daughter's hand in marriage. If the guy doesn't measure up to their standard, Na OYO for the guy. Thought parents no longer decide for their daughters when it comes to marriage. Guess I m wrong. Cos they do have a lot of influence on that matter till tomorrow. But for the sake of a girl's age and happiness, parents need to be considerate.

Is it right for a parent(mother) to kiss her son on his lips? As in have a full mouth kiss with her own child?

Even guys that beat and abuse their girlfriends or wives steady, will also come out to say No To Domestic violence...Lol to pretenders. Who are they deceiving?
|
Almost every girl don't like been cheated on by guys/their boyfriends, but yet many of them tend to do it a lot to guys. Cheating in relationship is more dreaded by girls, but they end up doing it a lot. If you don't like it, then don't encourage it or do it to anybody...

This is what usually happen to Girls that double date..they end up with no one in the end!

Whenever a guy is seen with a fine girl, people stare at them. They ain't starring at the girl you are with, but at you for having such a beautiful girl by your side. As they are overwhelmed and eager to know how special you are... Your input determines the output! You can live in a Mansion, not by dreaming but by working hard...
|
Most girls are usually jealous when they see their ex dating a girl finer than them...And its even worse, when their ex decide to get married to the new girl...it makes some girls feel so jealous and bitter. Cos normally there are girls who like checking out any new girl, her ex might be dating. Just to know if the new girl is finer or not up to her level. So that she and her friends (in most cases) can laugh at her ex and his new babe if the new girlfriend is not as beautiful as she is (some guys also do this). But does it matter? They say beauty is in the eye of the beholder. What matter most, is not the looks but the character of the girl. Cos looks fades, but character stays!

The present situation in Port Harcourt city is just like what is happening to Nigeria... We have oil, yet majority of Nigerians live in object poverty. We have oil, yet Nigeria is an under-developed nation. Port Harcourt city/Rivers state, is an oil producing state, yet have nothing to show for it. The sorry state of the city and high rate of crime and criminals in port Harcourt doesn't speak well of the city...Imagine a city with enough oil companies, yet faced with high rate of unemployment, bad drainage system, irregular power supply, inadequate good roads, unaffordable healthcare, and underdevelopment...And the city is one of the most unsafe cities in Nigeria. Presently most people in the city cant sleep comfortably or move around without fear of being attacked, harassed or robbed by thieves/touts even in broad daylight...The govt of Rivers state need to address the situation urgently before things get out of hand...This river should be a river of joy, and not a river of tears, sorrow or blood...

New Book On Africa's Most Popular Pastor Highly Recommended for Atheists In a new book, General Overseer Worldwide of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, (RCCG), Pastor E. A. Adeboye, tells the story of his amazing transformation from debilitating poverty into a powerful man of God revered by millions of people across the world. Entitled "Stories of Pastor E. A. Adeboye", the man fondly called Daddy G.O. tells the story in his own words in testimonies compiled to read like an autobiography by seasoned author and journalist, Bisi Daniels. The 350-page book, which shows for the first time the house in which Pastor Adeboye was born and the primary school he attended in Ifewara, Osun State, was released last week to mark his 75th birthday. A man revered by millions across the world as a true man of God, Pastor Adeboye is a great believer in the power of testimony. He is himself a living testimony of the power of God. His sermons always contain stories about how people have experienced the power of Jesus Christ in their lives. This book is a collection of those testimonies, which reads like his biography right from his birth in Ifewara in strange circumstances to the present moment. According to Daniels, the story of Pastor Adeboye becomes a compelling read, when after breaking free from the vicious cycle of poverty in his family to become a lecturer at the university and living in a palatial home, he abandoned all that to live in a one-bedroom apartment in Mushin, Lagos, as General Overseer of RCCG. Daddy G.O. confesses that at that point he was scared but God assured him of His support. Instructively it was at that point God promised him a city, which has turned out to be the now famous Redemption Camp. “God’s response to me was, ‘Son, don’t ask for house because I have decided to build you a city’,’’ he said. “That response was beyond what I could comprehend. After this encounter, I began to dream of a city where everybody would be a Christian; a city where there would be no molestation; a city where there would be no power failure or water shortages. God began to stretch my mind to see a city where His praises would fill every mouth.” The church had only 40 parishes then but it now has over 32,000 parishes in Nigeria, over 700 parishes in the United Kingdom, and many more spread across over 196 countries including Samoa, Fiji, Serbia, Pakistan, Lebanon and the United Arab Emirates. The subjects covered in the book dedicated to Pastor Adeboye and his wife, Pastor Folu Adeboye, who stood by him during his most difficult times, include: The RCCG, and testimonies on Faith, Salvation, Miracles, Marriage, Fruit of the womb, Temptation, Unforgiveness, the dark world of Power and Principalities amongst many others. Mixed in with them is the fascinating story of Pastor Adeboye himself and how, having been born again, he rose from debilitating depravation to become the famous and much-loved leader of the RCCG. In a testimony about Mrs Adeboye, fondly called Mummy G.O, Pastor Adeboye revealed how he got his ever supportive wife, even when he was clearly the least qualified suitor: “There were many of us contesting for the hand of my wife. I wanted to marry a beautiful princess but I was the least qualified among the many suitors. Out of the number, three of us were in the forefront. But I was a student, while one of us was a lawyer who owned a car. All I had was a “foot wagon” (move around on foot). I decided to let her know my financial status I said to her, “Please listen. I have nothing, no money, no house, no influence, nothing.” I told her that if I had anything at all, it was the little brain God gave to me. “I have nothing to offer you except myself. If you will marry me, you will have me to yourself completely,” I said. Surprisingly, she replied, “Because you are so honest, I will marry you.” Daniels feels privileged and honoured “to work on this great book of a very great man of God; a rare person of our times, who so many people around the world are grateful to be alive to see at work for God.” He adds: “I have written many books but this is the most important and most impactful of them all, with the promise to touch lives of many people around the world. “Sometimes I get the sense that I was specifically prepared by the circumstances of my life in the last nine years to write this particular book.” He says working on the book has transformed him, gotten him closer to God, and equipped him with greater understanding of the spiritual realm, particularly the less understood dark part, where mothers kill children they carried nine months in their own womb, and cried in the labour room to deliver, to drink their blood and eat their flesh; where some mothers make their daughters barren or make it impossible for them to be married; where fathers cause their sons to lose jobs, and where wives gleefully turn their husbands to destitute and husbands use their wives for rituals. In the foreword of the book he wrote just before he was sworn in as Vice President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Professor Yemi Osinbajo (SAN) recommended the book highly. He noted that, “The sharing of what he calls ‘stories’ is an integral part of the sermons of Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye, General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, who is fondly called Daddy G.O. “Most of Daddy’s ‘stories’ are indeed miracles, used to illustrate his sermons and show the power of God, rather than his own achievements. “Having been a member of the church for many years and now a pastor, I have seen the efficacy of this style of preaching. “Testimonies not only enhance the faith of others but also honour God. This book of some of the testimonies of one of the greatest servants of God in this generation is worth reading and learning from.” ############## ABOUT THE AUTHOR A graduate of University of Ghana, Bisi Daniels started work as a trained teacher and switched later to journalism. When you see your ex and she is looking more beautiful than ever, and also available (not in a relationship), what will you do? Ignore her or try get back with her, despite the bad things she did to you in the past?

I like and prefer Wizkid to Davido, cos he is self made. Imagine been the wealthiest Nigerian musician presently based on his personal sweat and efforts. Unlike davido who came to prominence and wealth via his billonaire father's wealth and connection. While Davido is rich cos of his Father's wealth, Wizkid is self made. No wonder Davido is thinking of quiting music. Cos he can also fall back on his father's wealth...

Some girls are sucker for mobile phones. They crave for it, but hardly do much with it. Just like a girl I was told used to demand for a new phone from any guy she's about to date. I heard once she starts dating you, you must get her a new phone to replace the old one probably bought for her by an ex boyfriend. Once she is entering a new relationship, the new guy will be manipulated or made to cough out money for her to get a new phone. Especially if the new boyfriend is so keen on getting rid of every memory of her ex or wants to prove he is a better lover. Don't know why she does that, but that's how she has been getting new phones from guys every year. And a lot of girls are also doing the same thing.. Cos when you show interest in them or ask them out, they indirectly or directly ask you to get them a new phone...mbok! They behave as if they don't have any phone to use. I tire oh

Don't ever think she's an island or just there for the taking. Every girl is like a tree with branches. If you really want her, then be ready to deal with all that concerns her...that's relationship 101 for you!

Its known to all that every woman likes money, while most of them are sucker for material things. And its also a known fact that most girls have weakness for sex. Their legs wobble at the mention of sex. They like sex alot and cant do without it. Such girls usually end up being used and dumped by guys who take advantage of their weakness for sex. And same way so many girls have had their lives messed up cos of greed and their love for money and material things, a lot of girls have also had their lives ruined cos of sex. But come to think of it, between sex and the love of money, which one can ruin a girl's life more or faster?
|
While women have ruin so many men, most girls have had their dreams, education and aspirations ruined, shattered, derailed or delayed cos of sex...Same thing, same boat!

Every Woman is a Prostitute--Cisi Eze “I knew that my profession had been invented by men, (…) men force women to sell their bodies at a price, and that the lowest paid body is that of a wife. All women are prostitutes of one kind or another.” – Nawal el Saadawi’s “Woman at Point Zero”. Prostitution is “engaging in sexual activity with another person in exchange for money or other valuable goods.” Prostitution is sex trade. It is between two parties. Why do we denigrate only one party? If there were no buyer, would there have been a seller? This goes both ways. Society grooms girls to see romantic relationships as a source of income while teaching men to see income as a source of romantic relationships. We should not pretend an AVERAGE Nigerian girl does not go into romantic relationships for money. Some guy once tweeted about a girl he asked on a date. It turned out the girl asked for “hair money” before the date. “I’m broke,” a girl says. “Don’t you have a boyfriend?” her friend asks and goes on to say, “My boyfriend does not miss it. He sends me 40k every month.” How did having a boyfriend become an occupation? As I often say, Prostitution, like blue, has several hues. Having sex with my boyfriend, a man that pays for my weaves and all that, does not make me different from that woman that sleeps with different men to get money to pay for her weaves and all that. Is it because she sleeps with different men? (Are humans naturally monogamous? If you are bringing in religion into this, aren’t we all fornicating? Is it not the same eternal damnation? People that claimed they went to school still believe “the vagina gets loose” after “too much sex”. Really, they should read and re-educate themselves.) Most men believe it is their duty to cater to their ADULT girlfriends and wives. I am yet to understand why a physically fit adult has to cater to another physically fit adult. I could easily decide to get married this year – I’d call any of the men that think they are in love with me and I’d say I’m now interested in getting married and become a trophy wife. Does a boy, my age mate, have the same choice? Would he not face ridicule for being a trophy husband? I live in a society where a girl tweets, “What is your role as a boyfriend if you can’t provide everything your girl wants?” Do we hold girls to the same standard? One of the foci of gender equality, a.k.a feminism, is getting rid of double standards in all aspects of human life. People, regardless of their sexes, should be held to the same standards in ALL aspects of life. Until we get rid of the double standards in respect to how the sexes view romantic relationships, I am afraid female sexuality would remain a currency. Women should stop feeling entitled to men’s money – we should stop viewing romantic relationships as moneymaking ventures. Men should stop feeling responsible for women. They should stop seeing money as a way to “find love”. There is no point getting sanctimonious in the presence of sex workers if we believe men are obligated to cater to women while women are to be catered to. That would make us hypocrites. P.S. I love you… but you are a prostitute if your main aim in that romantic relationship is to make money off your “bae”. You enable prostitution if you feel you NEED money to get love, affection, and sex from a woman in the guise of “romantic relationship”. “I need money to impress her…” Bro, swerve! P.P.S. The Functionalist School of Thought in sociology believes prostitution is beneficial to society. You could read that up on your own. Often, I ask myself what makes prostitution different from plumbing. They both render services. Is it because of sex? What is this thing about sex? P.P.P. S. Do you look down on sex workers because “it is morally and spiritually wrong”? Do you realise you have a habit that is “morally and spiritually wrong”? It could be that you’re signing into the office at the wrong time. A lie is a lie even when coated with white. So, calm down. If sex workers want to go to hell, let them go to hell in peace. Are they affecting you negatively in any way? P.P.P.P.S. I am in awe of women that have put a price on themselves – they have not let people put a price on them. Cheers to every woman that has understood society has made our sexuality a currency. Do you think it is easy sharing yourself with people? All that courage! At times, I wish I could bend myself in a way I would not mind trading my sexuality with a man for money. Men seem to have more money. Cher Dieu, mais pourquoi! Those of us not trading our sexuality for money should start asking ourselves if we lack business acumen.

My ex boyfriend and I broke up about 6 months ago. And haven't seen nor talk to each other since then. But surprisingly, he has been paying 20k into my acct every month, despite the fact that we are no longer dating. And whenever I call him to explain why he's doing all this, he doesn't pick my calls nor reply my messages. I'm really confused. Susan |

Some girls are known to carry a frown whenever they see a guy coming towards them from the opposite direction. They do this just to scare the guy away should he have any intention of talking to her or asking her out,(most girls do this alot). And sometimes some can be rude to guys who refuse to give up despite seeing her cold shoulder towards him. But does such a display or cold attitude towards guys help the girl in anyway? What does she gain by being rude to every Jide, Nnana or Tonye that approaches her for a relationship?
|
Most times, I've noticed some guys don't usually like seeing off a girl in the morning after spending the night with him. Especially if the girl is a runs girl or prostitute. Don't know if its due to shame or shyness. And some don't even bother giving the girl tfare. When you see such a girl trekking to board a bus the following morning despite spending the night with a big boy, you begin to wonder if the guy really value her or not.

A girl can give you her body but may never give you her heart. A lot of naija girls are like that. They might be dating a guy and giving him all the privileges entitled to him, (like sex, cleaning, washing and cooking for him) but may never love him with all their hearts. And this is why some girls cheat on their boyfriends. Sex doesn't mean much to most girls...

Breaking up with someone via a text message is a very wicked thing to do to anyone. Its just like breaking a very bad news to the person... A lot of people usually find it difficult to get over such. And it makes some feel worthless. Imagine being dumped via a text msg?

Is it right for a guy to propose to a girl who has a boyfriend? Cos I ve seen cases like that. And I ve seen girls accepting such proposals despite having a boyfriend or being in a serious relationship. What can make a girl to consider or accept such a proposal from another guy? Does it have to do with the level of commitment from her main boo?
