What Does A Woman Bring To The Table Before Marrying A Man?

A lot has been said concerning Linda Ikeji's desire to marry only a man with #500million in his account. Some were against her opinion, while others were in support due to so many reasons. Since no woman would like to marry a man who is not comfortable. But I ask, what does a woman bring to the table before marrying a man?
If standards are set by girls before marrying any guy. Then what about the girl? What condition should a guy set for a girl before marrying her? What's she bringing to the table? Since they say love is sharing, then I believe a woman should also be part of the comfort, glory, success and joy of her marriage, not only by giving her husband moral support but also by being supportive in other areas.

MMM: A Ponzi or Prosperity Scheme?

I've heard so much about this MMM, right from when it started. Friends and colleagues were telling me about it and also wanted me to try it out.

But having heard how the scheme was a scam designed to dupe unsuspecting investors, I was indeed reluctant to have anything to do with MMM. But few months down the line, MMM has been able to enrich so many Nigerians especially low income earners via its PH and GH payment arrangement

Though there are some risks involved in MMM just like any business venture. But the benefits of the scheme far outweigh any risks. And according to someone I discussed it with today, MMM is a genuine scheme meant and designed to provide help (financial) to the masses. And its cos of this same reason, some powerful persons are not happy with MMM. People who probably don't want the poor to become rich or comfortable like them.

But the interesting part of it, is that MMM is not a scam. Cos the people/Admin running it do not have access to investors funds. All they do is to merge people to pay and get help. Which is just like the normal contributions some people do at their places of work (this monthly turn by turn collection). And according to the man (whom I guess is an MMM guider), MMM only makes their own profit from the adverts placed on their site. Which are paid for based on the number of times MMM investors visit/click on their site. And considering the huge number of investors MMM has all over Nigeria, this is a cool way of making a lot of money without stress. Just like the way bloggers get paid.

From the above explanation, MMM looks more like a prosperity scheme designed to help the masses. And from all the indications, (and without any 'harassment' from the govt or the media) MMM has come to stay.

Must A Man Cheat On His wife?

It is worrisome to see a married man cheat on his wife when she is pregnant or when she traveled out. It is even more worrisome to see single ladies who make themselves available to a married man.

I just had a heated argument with a randy colleague of mine in his house over his infidelity to his wife.

The wife had traveled with their two children to her maternal village to spend the holidays and he invited me over today to spend today's public holiday with him. I have always respected this colleague of mine because I believe as a married man, he has some family life experiences I can tap from. But No! I am mistaken. I am yet to understand why a married man will feel comfortable bringing in another lady to his matrimonial home without being condemned by his conscience and yet he is one those we see as very religious in the office. I am even more worried how a lady feels so free in the matrimonial home of her fellow lady without an iota of guilt no matter how much he gives you.

This is why people see Bankers as terrible Cheats even though not all of us indulge in such. If a single guy does that, no problem but I can't understand a married man doing same, not even in a hotel but in your house, just because your wife travelled. I wonder how he will be able to look into my eyes tomorrow when we resume work. I know it is his business but I have my say and opinion on matters like this. Harmattan has not killed me and will not kill him if he maintains his fidelity for the few days the wife will not be around.
