@ sweet preggy mums!How una dey?Hope Lo is kicking fine.CHics,motherhood is sweet!!!Una need to see and witness how i dey scream if my baby is on my nipples!So painful but its worth it.Atleast today my breast milk started coming out in full force after all the kunu,pap and beverages i have been taking since wednesday.Hmmm,the hot water bath and pressing and tying of tummy is also sweet ,Me sha i noticed one thing o...ITs like my hip,bon-bon,infact everywhere is expanding so fast cos even the gowns i was wearing just before i put to bed looks so tight now.@ Udoka,how far now?Byvan,guess you are recovering fast,@ all the other pregnancy mums in the house,May your labour stories be as sweet and peaceful as mine.May you all hear the beautiful cries of your babies,May you meet a very sweet midwife on duty when you are in labour.May you all come back to testify on this thread joyful stories about your babies,i have learnt a lot from all of you and i used every lessons i learnt here all through my pregnancy and they were worth it.

My gist!!!i had two miscarriages last year,one at 12weeks and the other at the 13th week,i was frustrated but still determined.I decided to forget about HMO and look for a good gyneacologist and use money to do whatever test and treatment i was asked to do.I went for prolactin test and it was discovered that my prolactin level was low,i was placed on drugs,then later asked to do another test to check if the blood in my womb clots,that cud be responsible for killing the foetus.i eventually took in this january and i was immediately placed on pregnancare,duphastone,progestorone and baby aspirin and closely monitored weekly.i took all the drugs till sixteenth week and my gynae asked me to stop taking them and continue with baby aspirin and folic acid.The pregnancy was stressfree to the glory of almighty God,except for low pcv,and i was told to take poro poro(guineacorn stalks) ugu and milk too.But my gynae placed me on pharmaton matruelle and before i knew it my pcv went up to 36%.My baby was there growing and i was busy disturbing my self with no baby movement or kicks.even uptil 39weeks my baby was not really moving.Infact i was nicked name soft touch by my hubby cos i was always complaining of the baby doing me soft touch.To cut long story short,my EDD was supposed to be 16th october but i woke up 9th october with waist pain like bad menstrual cramps at 4am.The pains refused to leave so i had to go to the hospital by 6.30am.when the nurse on duty checked me she said i was in labour and was already 7cm dilated.By 9.40am,i told them i wanted to poo poo and the nurses asked me to poo poo on the delivery birth,and with about 3 pushes,i poo-pooed out a 2.9kg beatiful baby girl!

Udoka,i think ugu juice helped me a lot to increase the pcv.i take it three times a week.what i do is that i buy fresh ugu,blend it very well,sieve and add little honey.Then my gynea also prescribed pharmaton matruelle capsules.its a very good supplement for preggies and it contains all the folic acid,minerals and vitamins that you need.

Happy sunday preggie mamas,me am 37weeks plus and i dont think am dark!started using ori since january both for my skin and tommy,no stretch marks attall for now!@ Udoka,pele,the pain na so ooo.U just have to manage.what of pain around the vjayjay!like say dem use scissors pierce u there?u have not started feeling that one?For my own pain,i take paracetamol once in a while.I was aked to do urinalysis and pcv test last week,all came out normal.My PCV has gone up compared to the 26-29percent before,its now 36percent.My only fear now is that my baby is becoming more active in this third trimester o.Na so so movement i dey feel at nite.@ 34weeks the baby was head down,this one wey e come dey feel comfy with movement like this,and the shape of my tummy now sef i pray he does not flip over.

@ udoka,me I still feel that baby kicks is over exagerated ooo.or mayb we first timers don't know what they mean by kicks!I have made so much trouble with everybody around me including my hubby and my gynae that my baby is not kicking ooo.4 days ago I was sent to another scanning centre entirely to do a scan called biophysical profile scan and all seems well with my baby.so me I no dey bother again with kicks fah.I'm 35weeks now and I can feel my baby moving but me the baby no dey kick ne attall oo.

Please i have tried getting red raspberry leaves here in kaduna but its no where to be found.I learnt it helps in second stage of labour!Who can kindly tell me the closest place to get it again?

HeLlo house!How is every one doing?i went for ante natal on friday and my PCV has increased from 26% to 30%.Still on poroporo,ugu and malt and fruits.I appreciate you all.

lol!@ Udoka,na so o.........Mine i feel it more at night or whenever i take fruits like oranges and watermelon,but pple are still saying i am suppose to be feeling it more now,infact one of my colleague just told me now that i am suppose to be seeing the baby moving from one side of my tommy to the other now and if that is not happening,i should be slapping my tommy,i no fit shout,i no dey slap any tommy.My baby will be fine by the grace of God.

@ Udoka,Thank God you are much better now. I was feeling the same way uptil 24weeks and was wondering if there was any human being in my tommy.Iwent for scanning twice,found out the baby was there and there was a strong heartbeat,i tried asking people wat they mean by a baby kick and i did not feel all what i was told.But between 25-26weeks(im now 26weeks plus) i started feeling something there.Mostly at night,i can say my baby is more active at night maybe thinking that night is day time.Attimes i feel as if my navel is moving,then i see my stomach going up and down.The truth is i feel you alone can describe how the baby movement in your tummy is.For me i started feeling it the way the eye lashes blink,then now i feel it as if when something is trapped and is trying to force its way out(i told my sister last week that its as if when something is caged in a sac and its trying to find itself a way out and she laughed and said thats the best way i have described baby kick)I also discovered that if i go to a place where there is a loud noise i also start feeling that movement,or if i finish eating and put my palm by my right hand side close to my pelvis,i feel as if someting is pushing or removing it but very very gently.In conclusion,dont be paranoid with the word kick,it will soon start.Probablly from 22weeks

@ all,I finally got the poroporo(guinea corn stalk)this sfternoon in the market.Presently boiling it.I pray I get results fast.MY PCV is not encouraging at all.My gynae doc also recommended pharmaton matruelle capsules,I got that also this evening for N3,500.
