Oga,i have to skim through what you wrote because your first paragraph sold you off, Seems you can't comprehend what Gani Adams is saying,he was not condemning Buhari or Gej he is asking for a change in system, specifically Federalism. But the truth is that no matter how beautiful the law or the system is,what matter most is the people operating it,we are made to believe communism is a bad thing by westerners but the Chinese has proved them wrong, same way with Chinese telling their people Capitalism is bad.if you put a drunk in ferrari to drive you,be might end up killing you. |

I don't understand why a ruling party that has control over intelligence agencies could come out hold a press conference just to make spurious allegations, they have the DSS,Police etc in their control yet they come out to tell us hearsay,is this not a disgrace and a show of incompetence? They should show us proves or prosecute them in court, this is a serious criminal allegations and if they have evidence then they should proceed with prosecution.prosecution should just keep quiet please.I can stomach an allegation from the opposition but not from the ruling party,to me it seems they don't know what they are doing if truly they have information with concrete evidence and they cant act,how will I feel safe in their hands if they don't know what to do in matters that concerns them.
If PDP is accusing INEC of unpreparedness why did the NSA wrote to INEC that they cant provide security?
If PDP knew before now that the cards are still in China, why didn't they make a formal protest on that rather than security?
This people are clever than half,we knew it here in Nigeria now the whole world knows it and its a big shame.
Gmb has the NW,NE,MB and SW on locked down and they know it,that's why everyday they come out with something new...his health, his age,his certificate, certificate forgery, postponement and now they claim he had a meeting with JEGA to rig election,Oga FKK hope you wont wake up tomorrow and tell us he is about to snatch PEJ from Jona. |

bashydemy: GEJ,NSA and the PDP are taking us for ride since 2011, So many atrocity under GEJ Government and nobody have been so far arrested and prosecuted. So many names have been mentioned linking with Boko Haram and they are still walking the street... trillions of Dollars are missing and the President said no money missed that the America will know if the money is missing because it's their money. Stella Oduah scander, $20b missing, Immigration scams scander under GEJ watch and still he couldn't do anything. Sometimes when i remember some of GEJ statement i just ask myself is this a PHD holder? How will a president said
1 Stealing is not Corruption
2 How much did Jin Nwobodo stole money not enough to buy Peugeot and was jailed.
3 Boko haram are our siblings and we cannot attack them.
Now they have come with another use ideal of blackmailing Jega through the National Security Adviser that they will not provide security of election cos of insurgent in the North East but they can provide securities for Mr Clueless during his campaign.. Now they need 6 weeks to do what they cannot do in over 3yrs... Well Nigerians will be patiently waiting and see how you guys wanna go about it..
Well my advice for GEJ is for him to just gentle and accept defeat after the election cos no matter what GMB is the man the masses want.. He should remember Gbagbo of Ivory Coast, He should remember Charles Taylor of Liberia... And he should also remember those pushing Charles Taylor and Gbagbo back then are not serving jail term with them.. If he shoud allow those greedy Politicians to push around he will be the only so suffer and serve the jail term when all this backfire.. He should also remember Samuel Doe.... Asari,FFK,Okupe,Abati,Muazu etc will not be there..

Btw what is the meaning of "some people has infiltrate 0.00% of you" 0.00% is nothing can someone infiltrate nothing? Gej should calm down please,GMB is more composed than he is right now.

LRNZH: No yarn that crap abeg....
I do not support a military takeover.
OP is stating that from a tactical perspective, the present govt is opening itself up for a military takeover. It is a warning they should heed. Using BH to postpone elections is flawed and nearly everyone recognises that. Nothing should stop the March 28 date neither should Jega be booted out.
Or else...... if you can comprehend very well you will observe the angle am coming from, already they have warned us that the election might be postponed and it has come to pass, have you not heard of the interim Government? What if that also come to pass?either way we should be vigilant and at the same time we shouldn't encourage a military takeover, that won't go down well,it will be a disaster if a pretender claim to be a patriot and take over the Government all because be has a gun. |

southniyikaye: my brother, the truth of the matter is,apc is tired of their bullshit and that won't change a damn on whom we r voting!! They said buhari was bad during his military rule, the truth is,youth dominate the internet and some of these youth were either not born nor matured enough to know what happened back then..but for the last six yrs, they r mature, old enough to know how jonathan have traumatized nigerians and the funny aspect is,they follow him blindly..I pity our youth..how much were they paid? Money that can't sustain them for 5months? Instead of us to rally round and change our future, they keep on clamouring for continuity that doesn't exist..so I pray this prayer for our youths who blindly follow their continuity, may their lives continue the way it is now till they die..and for those who clamour for change,no matter the situation they are now,may God CHANGE their condition for the besT.. my brother the youths you are mentioning are highly polarised along religious and ethnic lines, most of them knows the truth, the literate discerning minds among us can't be moved by sentiments, religion or ethnicity. |

Politics › Re: Nairaland Might Be Shut Down. by masseratti: 5:06pm On Feb 08, 2015 |
otil1: Dear Nairalanders,
This thought just occurred to me and I decided to share with you all.
We have all enjoyed relative freedom of expression in Nigeria and open forums like Nairaland have been thriving, allowing us, young Nigerians to share and exchange ideas in very many areas. A lot of people have had life changing experience from knowledge gathered from Nairaland. This is true. I for one.
As I praise Seun and his group of originators of the forum, as well as we all, the contributors and members of this online community, let's please pay head to below.
Nairaland might be shut down. Yes.
One of the greatest worries Nigerians have is that no one can fully predict Buhari's style of leadership should he become president.
Some say change (@73?), but no concrete proof yet.
I, for one, the Buhari I know will clamp down on press and free speech. Please nobody should bother convincing me otherwise. The highest situation possible with Buhari leadership will be a reduction of the freedom we all currently enjoy and sometimes abuse today, without (any) much recourse.
We have all been free, just like a bird!
Now I am convinced that nairaland will be a target of the administration because of the rich and forever vibrant political section, which truly has operated as a no-holds-barred section.
As an instance, Nairaland holds an easy repository of all that has been said about Buhari -nothing hidden, all in multi-media: text passages, written comments of members, audio, video, picture, cartoons and other graphics.
For a Buhari, these will not be pleasing. He will pull Nairaland down, mark my word. Let Seun and his system administrators ponder this and devise a fall-back strategy. I submit this in love of Nairaland. I will be showing you in this thread, some the contents of Nairaland that will definitely not sit well with the general should he make it. we don mark am,let him pull it down first, but we are still going to vote for him to confirm your doubt. |

PDP should have got a better cerebral person to represent them on an international media platform and not a rabble rouser like FFK,if the Nigerian army has more than enough ammunitions during GMB less than 2 years administration, does it make sense for him to buy more in peace time? Why would FFK compare a 2 year administration in peace time to 5 years and half administration fighting insurgents?
6 weeks is more than enough for them to go back to the drawing board and bring up other scheme, Nigerians are waiting. |

Cheap propaganda!!! just to add,if you know the meaning of the word cult, you won't say post the rubbish you just posted, Christianity started as a cult movement but it's the most popular religion in the world. Prof Soyinka started a confraternity(brotherhood) which is still present in most college/university in the US,not your blood thirsty gang in Nigerian university this days. On tinubu's it's just an issue of saying if someone is from unilag and his friend field his his former for him,i will concede, that was wrong, even if Afikuuomi filled his form,at least he should have reviewed it,university of Chicago is different from Chicago university, and the one he claimed to attend has not denied him,are you not tired of that?
