I don't know why people, region or states pride themselves based on population, it does not make sense having more than two kids on this modern world is stressful, it's high time Nigeria takes its burgeoning population in check, currently we are over populated, and the North is getting worse with parents having kids they can't take care of, with a good numbers turning into banditry, almajiris, the southwest they are either yahoo boys or nurtw area boys south south militant, south east am not so familiar with that terrain so I can't give a honest opinion.
Nigeria is over populated, government must do something about it and not put religious sentiments into it. |

But sorry does not cut it. We need to learn from the guys. Guys hardly do that, according to them they have a "guy code".
Tiwa on the other hand should give others the opportunity to shine as well. If its true that she has been giving such condition before performing in shows, that's too bad. she should stop that. Whats the fun of being the only one succeeding? tiwa cannot hold anyone to shine, stop attributing power to where it's not, name one of kimani song that is a hit, if you are good no one can hold you down, it's either you do good music or popular music, tiwa is doing popular music and she is getting paid, no promoter will listen to tiwa if kimani songs are popular #fact. |

clemmonce: Nice words. Looking at MI and other supporting Tiwa it made me to think, what if Kimani is saying the truth. What if ? Remember no smoke with fire. which truth is there in an artist telling a promoter who should be on a show or not, which truth? The promoter is the ceo /boss they Sony even beg the artist to perform, you perform you get paid, and in lost cases its the mangers that talk to the promoters, how can I want to host a show, call wizkid, David, kizzdaniel, give them 100k dollars each and one of them will tell me he can't perform because Davido is there? I will tell him best of luck, remember what happened to nollywood artiste when the alaba promoters pulled the plug on them? |

That's child labor OP, it's bad there are better ways of helping the less privileged without abuse, your folks I assume could have adopted her maybe not as a ward fully but guardians, but you all do the same chores she does without no exception schools might not be the same, but clothes, foods, sleeping conditions and chore must be the same if she is under your roof, and yes my Dad did applied this method to relatives or and non relatives under his roof, if you come at the time we are having breakfast, lunch or dinner, you can't tell who is the real child from the other.
About your topic, flogging her for that wasn't necessary, you done your part, you have teach sex education, what will happen will happen, and she will soon be 18,by that time under the law you don't have any right to beat her for anything she does to her body under the law,
My advice call her bring her close and try again to let her know you didn't mean to harm her or flog her, you just want her not to be deceived by guys out there, because they are just about one thing... That thing. |

The only make popular crap thats all. The truth is that people dont actually know what they want, most humans follow what others are doing. Do you know how many times you heard a song initially and hated it but you later fell in love with it because it was all over the radio?, That's the power of promoting music, it conditions the mind. Promotion is actually the most important thing in music today. Forget voice, forget song, forget swag. If you promote your song properly you'd blow the lady kimani had one of the best promotions under her label, same goes for seyi who I love so much, and Yemi aládé, the game is like election in Nigeria is very difficult for you to rig in a state you not even popular, if your song is not dope no manner of airplays, video will turn it into a hit, you want to do mainstream music, come to mainstream people level, that's dumbdown, if u want to do good music, go after your audience like Asa is doing and let's have peace. |

Politics › Re: Pick A Christian As Senate President Or House Of Reps Speaker', CAN Writes by masseratti: 6:30pm On Apr 02, 2019 |
Kennydoc: The point in bold is only on paper at the moment. In the next 30 years, there will be far more Muslims in the Western world than there are Christians. Even in Europe today, many people are no longer religious. These are the same people you consider as Christians. Many European nations as you know them today will become Islamic nations in less than half a century.
You can't have a relationship with Christ and not be sensitive to what is happening in the world as regards the progress of the church. Yes, dragging political positions may seem unspiritual especially when you consider that most the so-called Christian politicians don't even know God, but somehow, their presence serves to protect the interest of Christians directly or indirectly. I know what Christians suffer in Southern Kaduna, most parts of the Core North and all other places where Islam reigns supreme like the Middle East, and I can never support a situation where Muslims occupy all top positions especially in a nation where the population of both religions is nearly equal. Northern Muslims head most security-related parastatals like Nigerian Army, Airforce, Police, DSS, NSCDC, Immigration, Customs, Prisons, EFCC etc, yet killing of Northern Christians and minorities is at an all time high.
Your last point about showing Muslims we are above board is the reason why most European nations will fall into Islam in less than half a century. The same guys from countries where non-Muslims don't even have freedom of walking along the road with a Bible or gathering together in a church are the people agitating for Sharia law in the UK and all over Europe now. When you're diplomatic in dealing with them, then you will ultimately lose your land and your life. my brother, my philosophy about life is always two wrongs don't make a right, there is no way darkness will consume light, just no way, if not for apostasy you will be alarmed about how many Muslims are Christians at heart but could not come out for the fear of their lives, there is nothing like Christian like in being in politics Politics is part of life and we all must participate, we must reward merit more than religious affiliations. |
Politics › Re: Pick A Christian As Senate President Or House Of Reps Speaker', CAN Writes by masseratti: 10:28am On Apr 02, 2019 |
Kennydoc: That was between 2009 and 2011 when Jonathan completed Yar'Adua's tenure. It was the circumstances of Yar'Adua's ill-health and demise that made him become president at that time. During his own tenure from 2011 to 2015, there was never a Christian CJN. Mind you also that the Speaker during the period you quoted was Dimeji Bankole, a Muslim. CAN was only asking APC to try and consider a Christian legislator for either the SP or Speaker. I don't think it's too much to ask.
If you're a Christian and it doesn't matter to you whether all Nigerian political leaders are Muslims, then I'm sorry to say that you aren't a sensitive Christian. Even SW Muslims won't accept the reverse. There is a global Islamic agenda to Islamize Africa and Europe. It's unfortunate that some of your can't read the handwriting on the wall. no 1 am not a sensitive Christian and I don't want to be, no 2 my Bible tells me to treat everyone equal, that's what makes me a true Christian, love everybody no matter their religion or tribe, no 3 that has what made Christianity the largest in the world and the most advanced. Now back to the topic am actually wrong and you are wrong too... The CJN when Patricia and Mark were speaker and senate president was kutigi... Not kastina Alu, during Yar'Adua regime, but be that as it may two wrongs don't make a right, if Muslims makes such demands lets show them we are above board, let the best man lead no matter his or her religion. |

But seriously I've noticed something curious:
Christians infuse a great deal of their religion in politics, from governors visiting pastors to bless their certificates and showing it in the media, to GEJ always shown bowing down to pastors, to CAN demanding that kaduna christians should vote out El Rufai, to pastors insulting PMB and EL Rufai, to now demanding for christian representation in an unholy gathering of heretics...
..yet they accuse muslims of islamization. oga please the imams up north here do worse, besides all emirs in Nigeria are head of Muslim faithfuls and they are actively in Politics. |

Kennydoc: If you read that article, considered the tone of their submission and this is all you can say, then I can boldly conclude that you're an Islamic bigot.
We all know that Nigerian Muslims can never allow a situation where all the arms of government (including both arms of the National Assembly) will be headed by Christians. Religion is a very sensitive issue in Nigeria and I hate it when people like you claim it doesn't matter because the injustice suits you.
It's better religion finally kills Nigeria cos as the country presently is, it is a dead nation. Let each region go and govern themselves as they deem fit. am a Christian it saddens me when I see my Christian leaders talk this way especially if they are Yorubas, because I believe we are much more liberal minded than others,at a point during Gej tenure all the 3 arms of Government was headed by Christians, the late Chief justice of the Supreme Court Katina Alu, David mark senate President, Gej president. |

Yahoo Boy makes money and becomes a celebrity in his neighbourhood because he shares part of his ill gotten wealth with his hungry niggas.
SARS tried to extort money from him but he wouldn't succumb, so they killed him and lied on stray bullets. Both the SARS and the Yahoo boy are mad.
One day Yahoo will no longer pay, and these boys who are already used to the wasteful and extravagant lifestyle will do anything to maintain that standard. Soon, young boys will go around with guns in broad day light, beating people and stealing from them. By then SARS will have a real work to do. They will attack the boys and they will shoot back at them. Its going to be a real war, just watch out.
The level of hunger and joblessness sometimes makes you not want to blame these Yahoo Yahoo miscreants, but then again, Crime is Crime and should never be encouraged.
