There is no way anyone is going to critique her without it coming off like envy but I think those questioning her sales have a point too. Most of the sales in mid 5 figures to six figures are not been put use even after months of sale. By most, I mean over 75% of her sales. It is hard to imagine that people will write such cheques for a not so popular domain extension without having a plan for them. If those sales were occuring in 4 figures, I don't think such scrutiny will happen. Statistics doesn't lie, does it?

Whether or not the sales is a plan by the xyz registry or some wealthy syndicate, Swetha has proven beyond doubt that those sales really did happen. I don't think she owes anyone any explanation or proof but she has provided them. Her sales report of xyz domains has no doubt promoted the extension in the domain industry and by extension inflated the wholesale price of decent SLDs in that extension. While this is as a result of FOMO, it is left for domain investors to decide for themselves what they are comfortable with in investing on the xyz extension.

Whether this is a farce or not, time will tell. As for Swetha, I think she deserves better credit in the domain industry judging by the height she scaled over the last two years.

80% of our geo sales are not being put into use most of them end up being dropped the following year. Does that mean our reports are fake. All my afternic sales ended up not being used.

How to know if a particular end user have been checking your domain out via Google Analytics. You can use that info to know whether to keep a domain or let it drop alongside other informed decisions:

I assume all of your landing pages are already pointing to Dan

1. Setup Google analytics on Dan. I shared this in previous post.

2. Use Desktop to go to Analytics and login with your Gmail.

3. Go under AUDIENCE>>USER EXPLORER

4. You will see all the Users that have been visiting your individual domains or multitude pages. You can know how long they spend...their bounce rates, to know whether they're bots etc.

5. You can also set a time period, like from Jan 1, 2022-Nov 11, 22 on the top right hand side to know how many times a particular user have been visiting your domain for a period of 11 months.

6. When you scroll to the bottom of the page, there is the SHOW ROWS. You can set that to 5000 to show all the users on the screen.

7. At the top we have CLIENT ID, SESSIONS, BOUNCE RATE.

8. CLIENT ID is the unique person that have been visiting ur domain. SESSIONS, the number of times, BOUNCERATE, how long the particular user stays or level of interest in the page.

9. You can click any of the users to further get infos

10. Then you can now know whether the user have been visiting that particular domain a number of times. You will see the time of visit and also the time spent on the Dan page.

11. There are some users you will see them jumping from one of your domains to another. Those ones are mostly other domainers or bots. Not real end users.

12. End users will be checking a particular domain for multiple times not jumping from one to another.

Thus with this, you can at least know whether to keep a domain or not.

Please explain this spread sheet part

just normal google sheet...but i use WPS for app...

Anytime i want to get leads...i copy the leads and paste it there then save it and name it the sheet with the domain keywork.

For example if i have gotten leads for SanFranciscoRemodelers...i will save all the leads in .xls file and then name it San Francisco Remodelers.

Next is to make it hyperlink...double tap on the hyperlinked email address to insert subject. Tap on the email address...tap on boomerang...paste you letter then send...simple.

Anytime you want to do followups...go back to .xls file....open and start sending your mails...with this no need to be looking for your sent mails...you can always send fresh mails...

If you don't know about this, please think twice before using it because it doesn't save your messages after you logout or change device.

My personal experience

been using boomerang for life...even when i changed my phone last year...all my mails were still intact. If i send any emails through boomerang i will surely see those emails in my normal gmail app.

Another thing, dont you have a spreed sheet that contains all your email addresses...like having an excel sheet for each name. The sheet will make your work faster...like now i send 10 emails in 1min...

Hi guys, you need to be very careful while using SAV.
At exactly 8:02pm, I received a mail from Afternic that one of my domains has sold. I knew I bought the name recently so I rushed to check for the name in my account. On getting to my SAV account, I couldn't find my domain there. it was as if I was dreaming. I searched my domains one by one using different filters but I couldn't find it. Then I rushed to my email to see if I truly bought the domain, on getting there, I saw the receipt and the message they sent me that the domain is in my account.
I message SAV's customer care and they responded that I deleted the domain. Omo my head spark. Throughout my domaining career, I have never deleted any domain before. I had to give them some street madness. Last last, they have returned my domain to my account. The domain is still 15 days old so I have to wait for 45 more days to transfer it out.
Definitely, they wanted to play a fast one on me maybe by selling the domain behind me.
I can't wait to move all my domains out of that registrar. I have lost 3 sales with them in the past. Na so I for take lose $2988 again now

Same thing bro. If he purchase from GoDaddy, he will still wait for 60 days lock. And afternic will not pay fast than Dan, when he agrees to wait.... also,I don't think it's stressful purchasing from Dan.

Dan has payment gateway probs with AMEX....

Any small mistake from Dan can piss off the buyer with all the stress he/she has gone through already...

What they're simply saying is that, if you're are an individual and request for payout in NGN, you'd no longer be paid. To bypass this, open a USD account i.e Domiciliary Account and you must accumulate min $1030 before payment can be processed.

This is not the case....it has always been like that...if you request to be paid in NGN, the minimum is 1030...but if you request to be paid in USD, and you dont have dom acct...no need to fret..you can use you normal gtb account to recieve the usd...only that you might not like the exchange rate. 411-415 for gtb...

In summary, you can still recieve your proceed from afternic at any time...

If you check his example of DomainKing, the guy simply bought his "probably" trade mark name in other extensions. Check DomainKing///co , DomainKing///io.

People using .xyz are just startups looking for a name that the big guns have already registered the .com

If you see a .xyz that other extensions have been registered, go for it but not just registering anyhow names and thinking .xyz is the future.
