Lemmy123:I applaud your fairness, comrade. ![]() |
satelliteDISH:Always looking to burden the church with the inefficiency, ineffectiveness and incompetence of your government. How about you ask all organizations to close by 9am Monday and Tuesday so that their staff can have enough time to visit banks for currency exchange. I don't want to abuse you because it is the LORD'S day. ![]() |
mmsen:Have you experienced fake transfer? Have you initiated an online transfer that either took hours before receipt? Do you live in a rural area where network is largely unstable and an online transaction can fail while in process with a debit alert following? Cash remains the most trusted form of financial transaction in this dubious country. Some people would receive a credit and lie that they didn't get it. You find yourself stuck in one place waiting for them to acknowledge receipt. Have you not seen people visiting banks for over a month just to resolve a failed online transaction? Go to banking halls from Monday through Friday, you will find them filling forms upon forms to no avail. I do online too. However there are circumstances where I peacefully withdraw cash, hand it over to save me time as well as prevent any perceived eventualities. I simply follow my instincts. |
Dpcommy35:It is biting on everyone dude. The rural dwellers are worst hit. There are places where you have to do almost a day's journey before you can reach a bank, I hope you know. Now combine this stress with the unavailability of the new notes on these rural residents who attempt these tortuous trips just to make withdrawals. The toll isn't a joke anymore. You live in an urban area where there are litters of banks, I don't expect you to understand. Those who did nysc in the rural areas mostly in the North have an idea of what I mean. In Pantisawa, Taraba state, it was a day's journey if you wanted to go withdraw money from the bank. Pricy transportation, dusty roads, robbers and scorching sun were some of the risks we faced. I understand Ganduje's grouse very well having served in rural North. Many states will be plunged into further economic woes by this hasty policy. |
Freshtruth:I like your observation of unusual patterns amongst a particular class of elites. |
ADEGUNWA01:It might sound primitive until you are caught in the middle. Life is deep, bro. The wise pay close attention to unusual patterns in order to gain deeper insight. ![]() |
Ojiofor:Take a course on comprehension. The post has nothing to do with period. It simply warns children of ambitious parents, especially politicians, to be vigilant and prayerful so they don't get sacrificed on altars of selfish parental ambitions. Go back and read. ![]() |
Sammy07:For now the new notes are only available at ATM dispensary. It's CBN directive to all banks. |
Leoleo1:The 'sense of entitlement' phrase sickens me above all. You see parents using it on their children; brothers using it on brothers; sisters on sisters. Even those you have been very good to in times past would dare use it on you because you want a little favour. To ask for assistance from those whom you know and are supposed to have your back isn't as smooth as it used to. Anyways, I just sit back and observe these days. I know that at the roundtable of life, everyone will have his shot. ![]() |
Otunbakayce:Stop being needlessly chauvinistic. It casts dust on your education. Fraud can be masterminded by anyone irrespective of gender, tribe or religion. You are turning it into a gender crime, which makes you look small-minded. Focus on the crime and the individual instead. |
People should mind what they joke with. Did your brother make such a disturbing statement because he has you under his financial belt? Yes, he did. People should learn to respect other people's partners and spouses. You should be very worried that your brother made such a worrying statement in your presence. It is not about this lady you want to marry that's so troubling for me, but the right your brother thinks he has over you and your future family. What your lady said was elicited by your brother. I can bodly tell you now that that statement is engraved in her mind going forward. Mutual respect is the bedrock of every thriving marriage-family relationship. |
anthonyuncle:You are a very wise man. One was business, while the other was kindness. OP is at fault here for failing to separate the two events. ![]() |
This is how people fail exam. The question specified occupation, not crime. Who classifies crime as a occupation? Nigeria needs serious moral and psychological healing. Imagine people mentioning yahoo and all kinds of nonsense when the question clearly states occupation. ![]() |
Justbehave:You haven't seen. Maybe, you are only used to seeing the tiny-looking ones. I personally know a girl whose genotype is SS, but she looks very beautiful and fleshy. Her parents are doing very well. They have done a good job in caring for her. If she didn't tell you, you would never know in a million years. It all comes down to prompt, quality care. |
oluwafreshkid:It might be most camps, and should have been all. During my service year in Taraba state, there was no single mosquito incident on camp. I am sure FG makes provision for it in the camping budget, but thieving officials would always do their thing. |
No one fears CBN anymore. Their governor is just a normal politician now in the eyes of the banks. ![]() |
Nazgul:We had this same challenge where I live sometime last year. We contributed and fixed it because the landlady doesn't live here with us. Interestingly, when the problem first arose, others suggested we contact her to foot the bill. But I told them I found it illogical that she be made responsible for a piece of equipment that got bad in our care. Anyway they still went ahead and called her. Trust me, she told them exactly what I had said to them. I think we should all learn to take care of what benefits us directly even if we do not own it personally. Harvest day will come. ![]() |
Ijaya123:Last last he must go to jail. Dude is only buying time. Unless they want public mutiny, they are going to extend the deadline. I am very sure that all security arms would have told the president the havoc this policy would potentially cause if implemented abruptly. In addition, APC could lose elections across the board if they stubbornly went ahead with this hasty fiscal policy. Add this nonsense to the fuel scarcity that's ongoing. Maybe Buhari wants to be remembered as the president who destroyed his own party before leaving office. ![]() |
Moseshasss:Corrupt CBN can't do shit. Banks have made up their minds to force an extension of this deadline. They are going to have their way. ![]() |
You only resolved the physical aspect of the problem. Go and take care of the spiritual aspect. ![]() |
seborrhic:Very one-kind story full of inconsistencies and confusion. All I read was associate, source, family and friends. The story jumps from one point to another without any logical conclusion. ![]() Sahara don really cast, I swear. ![]() |

Nysc is not bad so long as Nigeria remains one country. It aids cultural understanding. I know some things about the North today because of nysc. I suggest they do a few modifications here and there instead of ending it all together. One of which is to grant Corp members special security status. It means no matter what happens, a Corp member must be protected from harm, and immune from prosecution by the state where he or she is serving. Scrapping this scheme will usher in cultural darkness between the north and the south. |
SILVERLINES:Not true. Over fifty percent of government schools in the North, especially rural areas, depend heavily on Corp members for staffing. I am certain that these reps were sternly instructed by their governors to kick against it. Winding up this scheme would spell doom for their secondary educational system. ![]() |
9japride:I am angry that you didn't write the last part in capital letters. FRIENDS CHANGE AS THE YEARS GO BY... I learnt this great lesson many years ago. That good friend you knew ten years ago could be a kidnapper the next time you meet him. Yes o. ![]() This is the reason I don't rush to rekindle old friendship. I observe and observe...and most times I never stop observing. ![]() |
respect80:Run o. ![]() |
Sounds incredible though. Anyway if I may respond, I would say you should be prepared for a long tortuous ride. This kind of venture should ONLY be embarked on with an EXPRESS YES from the HOLY SPIRIT of GOD. How do I sound, too religious right? Time will teach you otherwise. ![]() Without mincing words, her family is a dead end. Too many evils which are apparent signs of a serious family curse. You don't want to share in this curse, do you? Marriage will certainly sprinkle on you your share of the curse like cooking salt. ![]() Take note that one of your daughters will resemble her mother. No argument about this! That's if your bride doesn't first turn into her mother overtime in your house. ![]() The flags are too many and too red. Save yourself now that you can. ![]() |
There is a thin line between your anger and full-blown madness. Just reread some of the insults you hurled at someone who is supposed to be your wife. I dey vex well well o, but I mind my words when speaking to a loved one. ![]() You keep insulting a loved one and expect her to remain in love with you? It's pure madness! You must be mentally disturbed! You even called her a mistake. You deserve to suffer as a single man for 600 years. I like the support her family has given her against your abusive behavior.Change your attitude before going to apologize to her and her family. If you think she would come back to beg to be verbally trashed by you, wake up bro. She wouldn't mind starting life with a more loving person either virtually or anywhere. Pride, anger, disrespect and jealousy war against marital love. You have all of these, sadly. ![]() |
twilliamx:This is how some endless problems (especially defiant health challenges) begin. Loud it for him to hear. ![]() |
SmartPolician:Don't blame her o. Tinubu singlehandedly brought her into political limelight. Thus she owes him all the support needed. This doesn't mean I support Tinubu or APC. Why do you think a bright Oshiomhole follows Tinubu everywhere like a personal servant? A similar story but with a little difference. Tinubu had been there for most of them. Now is the time to be there for him even though most of them know that his chances of winning are extremely low. ![]() |
blowjohn:Some people may not genuinely have much. However they will give generously the moment you mention that a life depends on their financial support. We all have different levels of compassion. ![]() |
