PrettyCindy: Hey all, please i need to know which of the cities mentioned in my topic is better for a lady to relocate to. Am from Delta, currently live in Delta but need to relocate from where i am to somewhere else. I have Benin and Warri in mind.i presently live in warri, i'm planning on relocating to asaba, its not cos warri is a bad place but its due to personal reasons. I have never lived in benin but its more like my backyard; i visit her alot. In relocating you have to consider many things like the nature of your job/business, cost of living, your social life(optional though), culture of the intended location and so on... little i know is that cost of living in warri is costlier than benin, depending on ur job/business, warri is an oil city so if ur job/business is on that line, you may want to consider warri, but also benin is a business city too, peolple sometimes travel from warri to benin to buy goods in whole sale to retail in warri. both cities are like twin cities but i think benin has a more social life than warri. the only thing i dislike in benin is the red earth ![]() |

korel9: 15 yearsok, apparently, you are 33/34 and she is 17. First fact is that she is still a very young woman, probably in the early stage of her tertiary education or late stage of her secondary education. You both are at various stages of your lives where your priorities are far apart; your priority right now is to settle down and get married, while hers may be concentrating on her education and getting a degree, this does not mean that you both do not love each other, but priorities are very strong driving force in acheiving whatever you set your mind to acheive, since you say she will be turning 18 this year, then she is almost an adult already, seat her down let her see and feel the reality of your(both of u) predicaments, are you ready to see her through school as your wife?(that is if that is her utmost priority 4 now), is she ready to be married while she is still schooling?, do you think her parent would allow you marry her at her age?(very important), if it be the case that she wants you to give her some more time and wait for her, are ready to wait considering your age?..., if all these questions can be asked and answered positively then you may be able to acheive something good, but if its not, then- break up now so you both don't end up wasting your time and hurting yourselves. In life, reality is very important to face. |
answer these two question before i say anything: 1-What number of years is the gab between you both? 2-How old is she? |
ogugua88: [size=13pt]Until the marriage takes place. On the wedding day, they get wedding rings. That's what I would do anyway. Now dats coming from a smart head |
martyns303: there's this funny way they do it at the restaurant, when they bring you your bill, its either they come with a POS machine or u hand them your card, then they ask you "how much should it be sir", my bill is right there on the paper, why u asking me?Terrible. That is extortion already, and one wouldn't want to go to the lenght of reporting such an act to the manager or owner of the restaurant cos it may cost the culprits their job. There was a restaurant i ate sometime somewhere, i was please with the service of the waiter and i offered him a tip, but he politely refused and told me they are not allowed to collect tips...that is the only place i saw that. |
ItsModella: OP, I feel you. I not only think it's annoying, but it's rude. It's your job, dammit!! Why should I tip you for doing your job? I particularly hate those rude ones who still expect you to tip them at the end...like wtf?its so embarrassing. There is this eatery close to my house, each time i go there to eat or buy a snack, the security guards at the enterance are sooooo fond of asking me for tips, at first i obliged but when it became incessant, i had to keep ignoring them till they eventually stopped, i almost stop patroniziing the eatery just cos of their annoying and embarrassing request. |
asking for tee fare irritates me as well ![]() |
iyatrustee: Ok i don hear you. Abeg find me t fare to d next thread! ![]() |
i wouldn't say i'm a very generous person but i give tips on free will, mostly when the person offering the service is hospitable, i wouldn't mind giving a tip..., but what pisses me off most is when i'm been asked by someone(waiter, security guard, attendant, etc) to give a tip , i find it irritating and unproffesional, dont know whether its the nature of ones' job that makes one ask for tip, but sometimes cashiers in the bank does it too, though rarely. Some jobs might be menial and the pay little but is it enough reason to ask for a tip? cos it does irritates me a lot and i mostly end up not giving such tips. would dat be cruel of me? does any1 else also find it irritating? |
sugarbuns: Yday evening was a bit messed up, I checked his fones and normally I wldn't do dat. Found wat I was lookn for and it wasn't funny. Am just gonna take it easy now; every1 is sayn be patient wv him, nd he's sayn dat I shld give him tym to sort out evrytin buh he still called d chick last nite. I got pretty angry and got drunk, dat made him mad at me cus he had to spoonfeed me cus I was too weak. Guess am takn it to far after all he ain't married to me. He's free to do what he wants. Thanx once again guyz.u r already ruining ur life cos of him; drinking n getting drunk cos a guy ![]() Anyways, it seem u will always stick to him but if u wil do dat, do not bother us about ur troubles anymore , u r grown enuff to know wats best 4 u i guess ![]() |

centje: The last pic is a mix media. It has grass for the house, top bond(a white gum) and paint for the tree, grass and mountain effects, then oil on canvas.. nice work centje, i most say i envy u n ur bro... Criticizing the work, what i found out faulty is that the sunset can only have such effect if its setting over the horizon of the ocean, thus the house on the left might be a little bit odd except if the landscape is on a hill top, that is when such sunset effect is acheiveable, but given the reflection of the sunset on the foreground, it depicts a reflection of water rather than earth..., then the sun n d moon seem to appear at same time. Nice work still, i like d color combo |
The only reason i wil ask you to stay and still be patient is that the relationship is stil very young and as you stated, he has met the other girls before meeting you and he probably still need some time to make a stable decision..., other than that, there isnt any reason y you should stay in a relationship dat is not define, if he says that you calm down n concentrate on building a relationship, give him 2 more months, 6 months is a enough time to decide whether he is serious or not, cos he might just b a playa and you might b 1 of his games just like dem oda girls |
kitty kat: All naija babes aren't all abt money.say that again sista |
centje: lol...na wa o! Even my brother liked it. Buh I didn't like the work that much...i just don't know why. Anyway,i will try and finish it.centje, that piece is sooo lovely, all i can see is tranquility, peace, calmness... It just has a way of speaking to the soul. Ilove it |
Dondav: Is that you on that tree?... I initially Thought you were some kinda branch! ![]() |
