Nonsense comparison...how can you attend a very subsidized medical school degree in Nigeria that gave him the opportunity to work in the UK and then compare salaries ...The same UK, can be buy car with cash down or will buy on credit and is the rent the same or is he paying the same level of taxation? Nonsense comparison and lack of appreciation...instead of trying to give back to the country that made him and pay his own doctors in Nigeria half a million or 1 million Naira a month or whatever he wishes... This is why school tuition should rise in Nigeria and salaries concurrently DyshApp: |
Wike isn't using it but I agree he should sell it to those that will build and pay taxes. All those hectares are grounds for insecurity...because I can bet you the University doesn't have a dime to build any research center for now ZombieDredd: |
The fact that you have to quote a white man shows you have colonial mentality. You don't need a white man to make up your mind. What makes you think the white man isn't lying about Reno? May God help my people. This is why he brought a white man to tell you all there isn't genocide against Christians. Fela said it all iamfactor: |
The Uni doesn't need 11,000 hectares for research. What research have they been doing all this time? Sell, build, and collect taxes ogugwa1992: |
Lol during 2nd term with how many months left in his adminstration? Ogun State Gov and admin is a joke. naptu2: |
Waste of time...not admissible in a court of law. It is not under our law, and it is useless to the judiciary. If INEC can provide papers signed by all parties, they will be admitted into evidence. They expect citizens to be taking pictures with phones...is that even allowed? Anyway, we shall see how Anambra will turn out. BluntCrazeMan: |
Colo mentality. Abeg leave our brother alone with your dress sense. Na who dress sense help. Even FB and Dangote no get dress sense. Immatex: |
Tinubu cannot replace Shettima with anyone. Shettima splits the NE votes should in case our always running man Atiku decides to run again. The Kwankwaso factor is the fight for 2031...Shettima I doubt would run for President after Tinubu, and so folks like Ganduje want to have a say on who becomes the candidate from the North because of KANO Factor. Once Kwankwaso enters APC, the weight will be on him and people will be looking to see if he runs or who he will endorse to run because according to the last election...Kwankwaso is greater than Ganduje in Kano. This is my own analysis...no inside information o ![]() AMINDA: |
The moment GEJ announces he won't run...it is over for the opposition. If you think GEJ will run against Tinubu in 2027, I have a bridge to sell to you. Even the Ogoni people are aligning. Oil exploration in Ogoni land will begin soon, and you can expect an additional 500k barrels helping us meet the needed crude for local refineries, forex, and with the new Tax laws, massive revenue into the FG, State, and LGAs. By 2027, even Peter Obi may want to endorse Tinubu Lol boysco: |
There is something about that Lagos Ocean shoreline. If you know, you know. I will just leave it at that. I can only speak from experience that if you can feel it, and speak to it, you may experience some things...if you do not believe in spiritual things, you would not understand. I pray you do not have an experience that forces you to know some things are beyond the natural. Respect the Ocean, Respect Fire, Respect your Life. Maxymilliano: |

If they had persecuted him, everyone would have shouted and besides the Nigeria Govt does not use evidence abroad in Newspapers to prosecute. Will they tell the authors to appear in Naija courts? How viable is that? Will they sue him in UK or US courts? There are so many layers to it. Even the Queen was exposed as a tax dodger. So the idea that Obi did everything right is just wrong. Even moving funds into Zenith to shore up their accounts knowing he has interests speaks of corruption. We are not here covering for Wike, but claiming Saint Obi did nothing wrong is what I call blind following. Mitsurugi: |
https://www.zillow.com/homedetails/113-Spring-Creek-Ln-Winter-Springs-FL-32708/47638262_zpid/ This is the link to the first house mentioned. No records in the history about the sale of the house. Also, the house is worth $1million so where did they get $2million https://www.zillow.com/homedetails/209-Heatherwood-Ct-Ormond-Beach-FL-32174/246106375_zpid/ Link to the second home - Listing removed, no information about any sale. https://www.zillow.com/homedetails/208-Heatherwood-Ct-Winter-Springs-FL-32708/47638275_zpid/ https://www.zillow.com/homedetails/208-Heatherwood-Ct-Ormond-Beach-FL-32174/246106363_zpid/ - Sold in 2020 This is the third home ...one of the three...no information about sales. I hope they have any proof about all of these. Anyways, it is well. I am sure if Wike is trying to buy properties in the USA, he would set up an LLC that will not be traced to him, and use a lawyer or act like Pandora's Obi and move assets in a covert manner. Anyways, we will keep watching. If it is all true, they should be recovered for the Naija Govt. Morbeta11: |
and how do you know the funds were stolen? Can you prove it? Be cautious online AMINDA: |
Write off a loan of N760 Billion....money shared amongst who and who. They need to release all the people that took the loans and did not pay back. Nigerian Banks and different layers of fraud...all these funds ought to go to investors and stakeholders...but the loans were written off...the written off loans are more than the gross profits. God Bless Nigeria ![]() AnonPoet: |
The moment I heard FIRS is among the offices...I became suspicious about the origin of the fire...but time will tell. I know the Govt is trying to modernize and go tech by December...makes me wonder if there is more to this than just fire. Fires don't burn that much, that fast in a building without explosives or flammables. We need investigators ![]() Glimpsetv: |
All those houses must be AirBnBs for travellers. I cannot imagine sleeping there every night for this unless I am being paid to be deaf Racoon: |
Someone told me...the reason Govt do not take all these activists seriously...they know where all the skeletons are buried. I was told NLC President Ajaero drives a $100,000+ Range Rover and has multiple petrol stations...so removal of subsidies affect those that buy for their stations and ship them across the border. They know where some of them pack properties abroad...so when they scream, the Govt does not care. Sadly, this is our reality. seunmsg: |
This is what they should have been doing. Even in South Africa, they had to negotiate with the whites. The solution is not to just kill them all...one bandits can wreck havoc in communities killing hundreds. Even US with all their police officers, FBI and all could not stop an assassination. Trump almost got killed too. Two US Presidents had been assassinated in the past. Am I saying we should not kill the bandits...nope...you try sticks and carrots. You negotiate with some, reduce the numbers then kill those that would not stop. That is what happened in the South to stem the fight about pipe vandalism....not a KILL them all approach. attackgat: |
Fear USA and the West...this all could be sponsored. The rise of China is causing a concern BlackViper: |
Politicians usually ask what people want and if the people want wheelbarrows, should they buy tractors for them? Maybe we should ask questions first before judging these empowerments. As someone who runs an NGO, the first thing you do is ask...A mosque once requested for 10 bags of cement. A church once asked for a bag of flour and sugar for Easter Picnic. Slytiger: |
What you should do is educate people about what suspension bridge is. This is close to a CABLE-STAYED Bridge. All the same, the bridge is beautiful and they should consider putting weight limits on these bridges to prevent large trucks from accessing them from the top. CoronaVirusPro:

Not a new case and looks like his pic is from the prison where he is held. My guess is...they picked him up on the day he was scheduled to be released. He was already in prison serving time. 38yrs old with deportation ...chai.

Her carer did not come to the house today. She is probably suffering from mental issues. God help her. ricson11: |
I just feel like crying for her. I have heard a lot of people say why blame your friend. I am not sure we know how these things normally work....I can almost write a script. The friends coming from Kaduna to Abuja were told...dont you have friends you can bring for us. We will give you something. Then friends go back and recruit...these guys are good guys...they want to help you. Dad is late, Mom in the village...we cannot do any harm to you. We have been helping you since you got to this school. Of course she went to Abuja..the lights, the fun, the glamour, big men, big cars, big houses...and from there, they promised her heaven ...only to maybe drug her drinks unknowingly and then introduce cocaine so they can have their way with her... of course they could careless about the side effect...they know she wont recognize any of them ...maybe only the friends, and left her to deal with her life of addictions...or lure her for more drugs only to sleep with her the more. My heart bleeds for her. I do know her Dad's spirit will fight. I only pity the poor woman in the village...proud her daughter has gone to University to get a degree...now serving because she mentioned her Alawe...but look at where she is. Arrested...this drug issue...it hurts. A friend of mine just confessed recently she takes drugs and cannot sleep well without them. This girl is super smart..and helps others with thesis...I am really hoping to help her but its hard. When you think you have helped drug addicts, they may just be fooling you only to go deeper into this mess. What a shame. Glimpsetv: |
The Union in Nigeria is more toxic than helpful in my opinion. Dangote does not want its drivers to go on strike because of some political points or party or based on the interests of politicians. We can see how they have disrupted traveling, health care, education over the years...this critical sectors are not allowed to strike in sane countries grounding the economy. Even when do strike in sane countries, work continues without putting people's lives at risk. Do I blame Dangote for this? Nope..he will pay them great salaries but you cannot decide to strike anyhow or you will be gone. He is running a private company. Can you insist all private companies in Nigeria to hire workers that will be in Unions? Nope. Islie: |
PhD in Chemical Engineering..why not apply, get a job and then relocate...look for jobs in the US or any country or lecturer work. Don't relocate without getting employment...to anywhere. You may just regret it. If you have a great job in Nigeria...stay and go on vacation and buy houses abroad 1b8m: |
I won't be surprised if he returns for one more term after Sanwo Olu. He will put a nail in GRV's coffin by making him lose a second time. I see our PDP turn APC going after Ambode's 2nd term after 4yrs. Slytiger: |
This must be a joke write-up just to get responses from all of us. Sadly I fell for it isyourboy: |
Unfortunately, some Nigerians cannot think things through lol...thank you for writing this exactly as it was going to happen...and if Fubara was impeached, his people would have tried to cause chaos...still they won't have succeeded ...and lots of people would have been killed. You cannot govern without the legislative branch...they can override the Governor with a super majority, and the Rivers lawmakers had that. casualobserver: |
see her mouth like that of who knows what. Some ladies just come on social media and make a fool of themselves. It is well with her family. I hope she made them proud. EvergreenDiarie: |
What is she doing out till 1am? You hang out with friends, go out partying and drinking...and driving on the bridge...thank God she did not kill someone else if this is self-inflicted. My rule is --- by midnight I should be in my house at the most. In Nigeria, I have to be indoor by 9pm. You cannot even trust police and with the level of kidnapping, why would we even risk staying out late? Most parties are not late anymore and those that are very late have provisions for hotel rooms at the same venue. We should be properly guided. "Wisdom is profitable to direct." May her gentle soul rest in peace. symbianDON: |
