Some come from poor families and they have learned not to be influenced by luxury and some rich folks still get wowed by other people's bigger luxuries. its all about Mindset. For me, I view all these things as what they are…vanities. I also believe in destiny so I don't long after what I don't have or get jealous about what others have. Sijo01: |
Ask your State Govs. Electricity is now at the State level and states can partner with the Fed to make this happen. ALAS, some Govs are fast asleep comradee1248: |
Foam in her nose...Drug use gone bad and they should track her phone to see where she last went. She may have gone to a party where drugs were laced or used drugs as part of a sexual binge. It may also be health attack..this is why autopsy is important. All we do is assume and spread fake news on something we truly don't know Spectators: |
Someone told me NEXT Foods is owned by Peter Obi. The lady used to work there in charge of major distribution..now we are hearing that majority shareholder is the brother. This NEXT Foods focuses on importation not local manufacturing from what I have gathered. Concerning this building, they usually write court number on building and all...no one showed up. Seems like the house was being used for storage because during demolition, the brother showed up and wanted to retrieve stuff. Abeg what are they really really using the building for? I want to know

|

Folks forget to realize all agencies are now fully connected. If Govt follows the money, they can track all these criminals…money isn't hidden in holes or foreign accounts. Even in foreign accounts, it can be traced. TimeManager: |

I am always amazed by people that fantasize about the past. 1. There was a Past when only few could rent dvds and only few had Generators. Then we went into the winding Generators and only the very rich had key starters. 2. There was once a country when the greatest achievement was buying a bicycle...you are even better If you buy the one with lights and sound. You were definitely the King of Boys if you bought a car. 3. Large compound where everyone grew up and all wives lived under the same roof with drama, scars and competitions to outdo or hurt others ...compared to the convenience of different houses now. 4. The only way to hear from family is to go to the town once in a year or send someone if you are lucky. Now we have phones and can call everyday. 5. I used to view people with DSTV like small gods...now DSTV is normalized. When I hear people fantasize about old times...I can only imagine that they were people of privilege who enjoyed what others couldn't...and feel terrible now because old oppressions don't exist anymore. ATIKU cannot WIN. Let me tell you why If Tinubu wins, the battle will be in the North for 2031.APC North won't want to lose to PDP or Coalition knowing they won't have a chance in 2031. They also need support from the South and the South is already coalescing around PBAT. The election won't be close Enjoy iwaeda: |
I just explained to you how politics supports and promotes incompetence. The people are the problem...look at the contractor...son of the Soil. 004gist: |
How does Bank Balance of $10k over 6 months = $60k. Gosh we have idiots as reporters/writers. What they mean is ...you can't spend below $10k in your account for 6 months ..if you can keep such balance, then you will be able to afford your stay in UAE. They are NOW aware that some Nigerians transfer funds just to travel and then relocate poverty into their country. They probably arrested some and they confessed...because if you claim to have $10k...how come you are broke in 1 month?...now you have to keep that money for 6 months which means you have to pay the Bank Manager doing gimmicks for all those 6 months Masterstroke4: |
I am NOT DEFENDING Senator Orji Kalu. He is a grown man and can defend himself. Let me give you this scenario. The LGA comes to you ...Sir Senator, we need this road done. Please we can do it...all the big projects have gone to foreign companies by the Fed Govt. Foreign company writes a proposal...for this type of soil, we need concrete and steel...N50m. The community comes and say....we can do it for that or less. Oya, write a proposal. They use their sons to put together a N30m proposal. Looks good. Everyone takes their share...remaining N15m...bridge done, no concrete, no steel mesh...put Bitumen on top clay...commission. Now Road falls apart...we blame the Senator. Senator played politics because he is a politician...what about the local indigenous contractor here that did nonsense? What we need to do is this - 1. Get a guaranteed number of years when a job is done ...at least 2-5yrs. If there are issues, contractors must repair and maintain. 2. Failure to return to site to repair...arrest and lockup....collect judgment and sell cars and houses and recoup some money back. Until we begin to hold contractors responsible...politicians will be held by local contractors by the jugular. 004gist: |
China is following the Machievalian principle...prevent unrest by all means necessary and eliminate internal issues before they become bigger ones. |
Local Contractor built Local Bridge...don't blame the Senator. Blame the same LGA that took on the project...they have demonstrated incompetence. If they don't award them the contract, the same people will blame the Senator for using outside contractors. 004gist: |

I actually would not say that I am very smart. I just think that you have to learn from the mistakes of others before you start anything. For example, I was told that my first building could not rent for N200k for Room and Parlor along Iwo Road during Covid...in less than 2 weeks, all the apartments were gone. Now some rent for N400k-N500k. My first approach - Can I live in the house I am renovating or building for my tenant to stay? If the answer is No, you should not be renting. You need to value the tenants as much as you value yourself. Tenants treat your house the same way you treat it. I am still not sure if I want to put all my business out there on YouTube, but I may be willing to do a WhatsApp Group with Weekly Mentoring if I can get 20 people that are interested...serious people though...landlords or potential landlords. Then if someone wants a one-on-one, we can discuss that privately. Email - idagbaempowermentfoundation@gmail.com |
What if PBAT picks Prof Zulum as VP....setting him up to be the successor after Tinubu when Power returns to the North...that will be crazy. Professor is wrapping up his 2nd term fergie001: |
Stop all these lies...repeating lies does not make it true. All these proxies you mention are against the occupation of Palestinian lands....send me financial proofs or weapons that Iran has been giving to all of these so-called proxies. Israel has been entering into Gaza even before the war conducting raids, arresting and jailing Palestinians. Why do you have so many Palestinians in Israel jails being tortured with dogs, without food, sexually assaulted and so on. You are supposed to be God's own country, but the barbarism of the Govt is shocking. I actually love my Jewish friends...it is clear though that they left Israel so they wont be part of these nonsense wars. Botragelad: |

I have been wondering if I should start a Youtube Channel on Building to Rent. During Covid-19, I went into the same thing we do in the West...Buy and Renovate. It cost less and the ROI is greater than 10%. Then I put systems in place. Fastforward almost 5yrs, I am still bold to say that I have 100% rent payment and manage them from outside of Nigeria...and no, they are not in Lekki or Abuja, all in Ibadan with over 30+ tenants. I am always shocked when I hear tenants are staying for 1yr without paying. Commercial Buildings also come with its own expense and obligation...Event Centers need security and huge capital investment. Shops that give good ROI must be in sort after areas which can be way pricey than N25m you quoted. I may have to start sharing some of my systems and advising people. If you plan the end from the beginning, you will be doing what highly effective people do. It is not about pouring money into thing...People first, then Money, then Things -- Suze Orman. Iran is a large country...Missiles will be everywhere. How many bombs will Israel use to destroy all the launchers? Mind you, Hezbollah has not been activated yet and the Yemen folks. North Korea and Russia are also waiting in case Iran needs them and US joins the fray. I am sure that is what Putin told US. If you join, we will support Iran as well. When you have Netanyahu as PM, hope for the best and prepare for the worst. Then again, US will just allow all Israelis to relocate to the US. ICE dare not go into Jewish neighborhood to deport an Israeli. Iran is yet to use their most devastating weapon... A country that was under embargo, under siege...and still surviving you choose to attack...I want to see Israel kill Supreme Leader of Iran, a direct descendant of ...all Hell will break loose. Even Saudi will not be able to stop a revolt. Even Trump knows that. It is widely believed, within religious and genealogical traditions, that Iran's Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Sayyed Ali Khamenei, is a direct descendant of the Islamic Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him). A Presidential visit is not the same as Peter Obi visit. 1. There is usually a first security team that is sent ahead to assess situations and debrief the Presidency. This information will never be made public. 2. Roads were flooded, so they decided not to go. If Helicopters were used, they would NOT be able to fly in bad weather as well. 3. Planes cancel flights due to bad weather. Kobi died flying in bad weather and so on. Peter Obi, you are VERY WRONG here. Knowing the President is coming to visit, not being able to secure the area, bad weather and extra logistic needed are enough reasons to cancel the trip. Why didnt Father Alia enter the same weather with helicopters? Peter Obi will never blame the Father in charge. We know how much he respects the Catholic church, but it does make him look small by being inconsistent and unable to share blame objectively. I cannot vote for him as President. If I was Peter Obi, I would say the following --- We appreciate the President changing his schedule to visit victims of the massacre. While this should have been done earlier, it is better late than never. I also appreciate the President announcing a committee to find lasting solutions to this problem. I volunteer myself as a member of the committee to help in bringing a lasting solution to this crisis. This is a problem that we must, as one Nigeria, solve together. I will be looking to meet in my capacity as a citizen with Father Alia, the traditional rulers, so we can have constructive dialogue on what we can do to prevent some of these atrocities in the near future. A New Nigeria is Possible, if we all come together to solve problems. Maxymilliano: |
Make it make sense 1. Nigeria was running out of money, so Nigeria made a deal on loans in exchange for crude oil 2. Nigeria is still battling with increasing production of its crude oil...about 900k or so per day has been exchaged for dollars not all at the same time, and we produce about 1.3m - 1.4m barrels per day. 3. Dangote needs 650,000 barrels and the Naira for Crude though includes Dangote, but other local refineries qualify as well. 4. Dangote in order to meet its crude demands decided to buy from US...why, because US has some of the cheapest low rate crude that Dangote can refine. Nigeria has some of the best crude which is why US and others are buying from us in exchange for dollars. 5. We are trying so hard now to increase production, which is why we forgave Ken Saro Wiwa with pardon and National Honors so we can resume drilling in Ogoni Land. 6. The plan is to get to 2 million barrels per day as set by our budget, so we can meet obligations home and abroad and Dangote wont need to import crude because our crude is better anyways. 7. Dangote also want to stop importation of PMS so he can sell what he refines and be able to pay for the crude he imported, which makes sense. Allow importation of PMS means he will need to find market elsewhere. 8. That is also why he got those trucks so he can sell them so cheap to all corners of Nigeria which would make importation of PMS not profitable. If he is selling at N830 and they are importing at N900 and selling at SE for N1000 and Borno at N1300...those importing will still make money and ask Fed Govt to pay the difference. 9. If Dangote can ship them and those areas can sell for maybe N850, Govt wont need to pay differentials and those importing PMS will not be able to bring in PMS because they will be operating at a loss all over the country. As it is now, there are still markets for PMS importation which is impacting places that need development and areas that affect food production. Hope this all makes sense...these are my own analysis. Feel free to critique, add, subtract as the case may be. I tried my best...I am a news junkie by the way, so that is why I am able to connect the dots. I may not be 100% right but I hope I am close lol. DrMB: |
In 6 months, this is what TRUMP has done. 1. Pulled out of Climate Rules and made it useless...not the world cannot trust US on global climate change. 2. Pulled out of Iran Deal 3. Created havoc on American streets and crippled businesses. Divided families and created fear. 4. Supported Russia, strengthening Russia against the wishes of US allies. 5. Tarriffs Tariffs Tariffs almost crippling the US Economy by inviting Recession. 6. Started a New War in the Middle East against the wishes of G7 7. Created with Israel, a major humanitarian crises in Palestine. Now some UN and ex-UN officials are calling these actions GENOCIDE In 18 months, Americans will go to the polls to vote in a New House of Representatives ...if Trump Republican Party wins and hold the house, it means this is where America will be headed for another 24 months. If Trump loses the House, there would be significant friction in both the Domestic and International Policies of the USA, more investigations and may be the return of a wounded Democratic Party that has nothing to lose. In all of this, I fear that Israel has chosen a path that isn't very forward-thinking. Trump cannot run for a 3rd term. He may not even control the entire 1st term, and though Dems also support Israel, that support is reducing especially with the arrest of those who protested in colleges and Universities. We wait and watch. If and when Netanyahu and Trump finally leaves their respective administation, it may just be too little too late for America to return to the Head of the Table. America will be lucky if it still has a chair at the table to sit. Americans may forget easily, but the world leaders will not. You missed the point. I am Yoruba and instead of taking my criticism constructively, it may lead to that. I saw someone take an experience on YouTube and it quickly descended into tribal issues. I have no appetite for that because my sister married Igbo, my co-worker is from Imo as well and I could really care less ...My NGO is supported by everyone and we also support everyone. All that goes out of the window once you criticize AirPeace. We do so to make them better. ppogba: |
