You are very right. The ArchDiocese of Washigton DC alone has over hundreds of billions of dollars in assets. Hospitals and Educational Institutions that include higher institutions, high or secondary schools and primary schools....that is not including the value of the Churches that date back to ...and in very high value areas of DMV. There are other catholic institutions like Notre Dame and Holy Cross. You only need to look up on Endowment. I am a proud alumni of Catholic University of America. I could not afford going to an expensive school like that, but I was blessed with a scholarship that covered my Masters Degree...and I am not a Catholic. On our campus, we had and probably still have a strong Saudi Arabia Association lol. You figure it out From Ai. Local Church assets: The archdiocese of Baltimore, which covers Maryland, has listed its assets at over $200 million, though this is likely an undercount. Diverse assets: The Church's assets include real estate (churches, schools, hospitals), art collections, and investments. Catholic Charities' funding: Catholic Charities receives significant funding from government contracts and grants, indicating a large operational budget. Global estimates: The Church in Australia is estimated to have around $25 billion in assets, while Germany's Catholic dioceses hold assets valued at almost $33 billion, according to a YouTube video. In conclusion: While a precise total for the DMV region is unavailable, it's clear that the Catholic Church holds considerable wealth within the region and globally, encompassing various forms of assets and funding. What I do not understand is why a restaurant owned by Cubana Chief Priest cannot pay Trash Collectors to discharge waste? However difficult it was securing them in Ibadan, I made sure I had them in place for my tenants. They pay the service charges and waste are evacuated bimonthly. A restaurant will need daily evacuation or twice weekly...yes it will cost them over N100k, but you can add it to services and food...and do the right thing. In one location, it is N5k per drum and 3 drums cost N15k twice a month which amounts to N2500 per drum per carry. Another charges N8k per drum, 2 drums is N16k which amounts to N4k per drum per carry. Better that than dealing with 1. The court system 2. The corrupt lawyers 3. The Local Govt officials 4. BAD Press 5. Loss of Business and sealing of establishments. I have NO IDEA what is truly wrong with some of us in Nigeria. treesun: |
Putin comment on 'taking Kiev in 2 weeks' taken out of context: aide By Reuters September 2, 20144:54 AM EDTUpdated 11 years ago https://www.reuters.com/article/world/putin-comment-on-taking-kiev-in-2-weeks-taken-out-of-context-aide-idUSKBN0GX0JS/ MOSCOW (Reuters) - A reported comment by President Vladimir Putin that Russia could capture Ukraine's capital Kiev within two weeks was taken out of context, Itar-Tass news agency quoted a Kremlin foreign policy aide as saying on Tuesday. It quoted Yuri Ushakov as saying that whether or not those words were spoken, the quote "was taken out of context and had a totally different meaning". Italy's La Repubblica reported this week that Putin told European Commission President Jose Manuel Barroso in a telephone conversation: "If I want to, I can take Kiev in two weeks". The comment was reportedly relayed by Barroso to leaders at last weekend's European Union summit. Note: If Ukraine had no support, do you really think Ukraine can last 2 weeks? Even with the Western Support, Russia never used its deadly arsenals SultanOfPuna: |

Enrollment has gone from 12 million to 16 million in 2yrs. We need to encourage people to sign up for health insurance and also discourage donating to people without health insurance, because it is irresponsible. You ignore a N50k health insurance for the year, and want people to donate millions for sickness that could have been covered by health insurance. We need to preach responsibility. bigpicture001: |
Lagos State has Health Insurance Ogun State has Health Insurance Oyo State has Health Insurance. IDAGBA Foundation was willing to subsidize health insurance for new registrants into the Oyo State Insurance...no one signed up. When sickness arrives, they will pay millions instead of N20k per year. May God give us all wisdom. Subscribe to support us - https://www.youtube.com/@IDAGBAEmpowermentFoundation Glimpsetv:

Banks have ways by which they can deduct payments into specific accounts monthly...that can then be used to pay rent on a yearly basis. What I have noticed is that folks wait till the last minute to start planning their rents. If you have a rent of N500k and make N200k, you will need at least 5 months to save up for that...but our folks will want to gather 3 months salary for N500k and then end up asking Landlord for more time or making excuses. Monthly or Quarterly payments wont work because we cant be chasing people every month to get paid...and we know we have a useless court system, so these cases wont move quickly enough. Editorialtimes: |
You can get that in Nigeria for monthly income of $1000 lol...How much do you want to pay driver? N100k - N150K, live in house help in Nigeria N75k and hair done N25k...N200k...if N1.5 million is not enough, the person needs help. TemporaryHansel: |
The Holy Land Why am I not surprised? Look at how Israel is killing children as well. The solution - Allow rating systems so workers can rate those they work for - Create a system where people can report abuse without consequences - Limit ties to the person you work for to 3-5 yrs like it is done in the USA - Enforce payment and living wages - Create an easier system where people can work for few months as needed without ties. Will they do any of these? Nope..because even those at the Top have a history of abuse and torture, so good luck Amnesty International. OLAADEGBU: |
Sadly the dead girl cannot come back to life. If she was part of those affected, the govt must bear responsibility. If not, RIP to the dead if JAMB does not finger her center as one of those affected. nlfpmod: |
You have to be super wealthy to get all these done for you in the West...like live at home nanny which will cost nothing less than $2000/month ...not including a driver lol Glimpsetv: |
and you think if CIA is funding Sowore, it is Hundeyin that will discover the works of the CIA lol? The day they will arrest him and put him on trial, his case will be just as serious as the Biafran WarLord in custody. Guyman02: |
I remember visiting Chicago and I met a girl at my Uncle's (more like cousin not Uncle sha) church. I was 19, she told me she was 16. We chatted and exchanged numbers. It was when I called her and spoke to the Mom introducing myself that I was calling to speak to her. Mom asked how I got the number and I told her she gave it to me, I was just 6 months into the country and Mom said she was not around. Mind you, these were Black American folks...well my Uncle married a Black American. I was also a virgin, so I did not have any negative intentions by the way. Her Mom called my Uncle, and my Uncle and the wife called me. I did not see it as a big deal..we were attending the same church that my Uncle was a deacon at. I was naive. It was then my Uncle was shocked that she said she was 15 or 16. This girl was 13, but she was very matured and big for her age. I apologized, and my Uncle called her Mom to let her know what the daughter did...she gave me her number. Mind you, cellphone wasnt common or available then lol. I learnt a very big lesson then and this was almost 25yrs ago. Even in college, I contemplated dating white girls...I cannot advice anything to do these things now. If you are accused of any crime...its a black african man vs the words of a white girl...good luck being found not guilty lol. When you travel abroad, please speak to the people that live there about who you are chatting with, talking to or want to go and visit. If he never made the trip, he may have said it was all a prank, but making the trip means he may end up in jail and be deported. What a colossal mess. papyjaypaul: |
Lol so he works for US Intelligence and yet posted the sources of funding in public space...I always thought this Hundeyin had sense. These Foundation funds a media channel like PBS and so on, and these are not pro US...if anything, they speak against US atrocities. Coming from a guy who signed a fellowship program with an author that was later revoked Lol. I am sure he speaks with credibility ![]()
https://x.com/DavidHundeyin/status/1921991170688733294?t=bW5fGmZWcgtomRInrhzy2w&s=19
|
The man must be talking about a family of 4. I just looked up Nigeria to Australia, and you can find tickets as cheap as $1500-$1600 round trip. Folks that don't travel home to Nigeria do not know what they are missing...the opportunities are endless, and until you go and relax, you won't realize how much is being left behind. After 30yrs, you want to retire to the country that you do not recognize anymore...then you cry that everyone is using you ...well did you create relationship? did you build people? You just want to come and reap where you did not sow. Never forget home if you plan to live in it someday. My own 2 cents. AmazingGenius: |
Me sha, I am not flying the AirPeace London route. Old Plane ...not what was promised, which was supposed to be the New Jetliner. The entertainment system did not work. You had to arrive to the airport 4hrs before departure, I will give the food an A+ and customer service. The wahala is too much...Bags got mixed up and no AirPeace Bag Services at London Gatwick Airport. A lady lost her luggage, which had wedding clothes. Someone left theirs and took hers. All the Baggage services there said they do not associate with AirPeace. No Phone Number to call...I had to call the number of the person who I felt took my luggage in the mix-up. Luckily, she was still outside of the airport...I had to take hers, and then we exchanged it back...imagine the security breach and risk. I was just thinking to myself...what if she had cocaine in her luggage and wanted someone else to take it out for her? It was a colossal mess. My next trip...I went back to my United Airways/Heathrow. 2 hours arrival to airport means more sleep, easier check-in...I won't even go into taking the bus/train from London to Gatwick, only to wait online for more than 1 hour before the AirPeace opened check-in station. I purposely flew US-London-Nigeria so I can patronize AirPeace..I was disappointed to and fro. God1000: |
This issue must not escalate o...how many Nigerians would our Govt need to evacuate from India like this? DenreleDave: |
I agree that with a result like that he should sit for SAT. IDAGBA Foundation will gladly pay for the exam. He may just get a full ride to study Software Engineering abroad. I know that is what I did and what Bosun A who scored the highest JAMB in Nigeria, my neighbor, did then as well ![]() OAkanni001: |

If the Govt requires you to use a particular office, you use it. If your husband wants you to change your surname, you should. If you ask and he says he does not care, then that is his choice. Some women use their father's name and husband's last name. Again, the husband should be ok with that. Personally, I could careless if my wife uses my name or not. It matters more if my children do not bear my last name. As a matter of fact, my wife did not change her last name totally...she uses both and I am fine with that. LordReed: |
Yes I made the comparison because the Bible equates men as masters and I highlighted the Biblical verse for that. In the Jewish culture, it is even more pronounce. A lady no matter how old must wait for the guy to pass through the door first. We may say that these old religions are male-biased, and we won't be wrong. It is either we believe in the Word or not. What we have done over time is to adapt it to the times, but when you study the Bible and the ways of the past, you will understand that these things are not up for debate. LordReed: |
If that is what he wants, yes you must. If you cannot do what he wants...don't marry him. It is very simple. A lady can choose to remain single LordReed: |

Kemi BadEnough has grieved the spirits of our ancestors and forefathers. I fear it is not only her downfall that is imminent. She may have just put a generational curse on her lineage. She will need more than an interview or an apology to atone for her sins. I just pity her. Things begin to go down from here on out. NGsultan:

I was talking to a reporter ...this is the kind of investigation I want to train our young people to be able to do. Ship in video recording pens and voice-activated devices. You either get trained or buy them and sell the stories. By the time we start revealing all the corruptions in the system, even families go begin dey fear families...it is just too much. Lots of payments in our higher institutions without receipts. How did it get this bad? Doxy1: |

As crazy as it sounds, Seyi may be attending the wedding but the Katsina Gov may be working to unseat his Father. The life of politics...you don't even know who to trust. Without Tinubu, Buhari would not win yet Buhari's people were trying to prevent Tinubu from Aso Rock. I just cannot get into this politics of a thing personally. The word "subject" is synonymous with Master-Slave. That does not mean that wives are technically slaves, but they lose the freedom of independence according to this ...Husbands are supposed to also Love their wives. Think of Kings and Subjects...and the correlation with what I wrote. You are thinking of slaves in terms of those in chains...the extreme way of slavery is what is frightening you by drawing the comparison. LordReed: |
I cant o. Just focus on the word...submission. LordReed: |
