Hospitals and Educational Institutions that include higher institutions, high or secondary schools and primary schools....that is not including the value of the Churches that date back to ...and in very high value areas of DMV. There are other catholic institutions like Notre Dame and Holy Cross. You only need to look up on Endowment. I am a proud alumni of Catholic University of America. I could not afford going to an expensive school like that, but I was blessed with a scholarship that covered my Masters Degree...and I am not a Catholic. Enrollment has gone from 12 million to 16 million in 2yrs. We need to encourage people to sign up for health insurance and also discourage donating to people without health insurance, because it is irresponsible. You ignore a N50k health insurance for the year, and want people to donate millions for sickness that could have been covered by health insurance.

Adeola, the 41-year-old daughter of veteran Yoruba actress Jumoke George, has been found in Mali after being declared missing for four years.

Jumoke had earlier revealed the disappearance during an interview on the Talk to B show hosted by actress Abiola Bayo. She stated that Adeola had been living with her grandmother in Ibadan and was last seen after informing the family she was travelling to Lagos.

According to Jumoke, Adeola later made contact, asked for forgiveness, and explained she had travelled out of the country with friends in search of better opportunities.

In the same interview, Jumoke disclosed that she had been battling serious health and financial issues. She said her condition had prevented her from honouring acting jobs, leading her to refund payments and borrow funds for medical treatment. She noted that further medical tests were required, with an estimated cost of N400,000.

She explained that any money she earned from occasional jobs was spent on efforts to find her missing daughter.

Speaking in tears on the TalkToB show hosted by fellow actress, Abiola Adebayo, Jumoke said she hid her predicament due to shame and fear of public ridicule.


She said, “There are some things that are embarrassing to say but at this point, I have no choice. I want to speak out. I am working but it’s not like I get jobs every time.

“Sometimes, it could be once in three to four months. That was before I became ill. After I became ill, I couldn’t go for a set I was invited to. Someone paid me last year, I didn’t know I would get sick, I spent the money on treatment. I had to borrow money to refund the person.

“I went to another location but I couldn’t work. They had to bring me back because of my health. I’ve done several tests. I was told to do some more which will cost about N400,000. I don’t know where to get the money from.”


“My first child, Adeola, has been missing. I’ve been looking for her for the past four years. Any small money I get from working was spent on looking for her.

“She was in Ibadan where she was working and living with my mother. So my mother just called me one day to say that she hasn’t seen Deola who said she was coming to meet me in Lagos. I said I haven’t seen her,” Jumoke recalled.

In an update shared on Wednesday, Talk to B host Biola Bayo revealed Adeola had been found in Mali. She said she spoke with Adeola via video call and although the daughter had not yet spoken directly with her mother, Jumoke was relieved to know she was alive.


Biola also confirmed that Jumoke George is currently receiving treatment at a state hospital in Lagos and is awaiting further medical evaluation.

Sharing the details of her video call with Adeola on Instagram, Biola Bayo said “I finally got to speak with Adeola and this is what she said. She hasn’t called her mom, but Mom is happy she’s alive.

“#Jumoke George is currently at a state hospital in Lagos.

“Hopefully she will be discharged or admitted after all her medical tests and reports. Not sure yet. Thank you to everyone for the support”.

Banks have ways by which they can deduct payments into specific accounts monthly...that can then be used to pay rent on a yearly basis. What I have noticed is that folks wait till the last minute to start planning their rents. If you have a rent of N500k and make N200k, you will need at least 5 months to save up for that...but our folks will want to gather 3 months salary for N500k and then end up asking Landlord for more time or making excuses. Monthly or Quarterly payments wont work because we cant be chasing people every month to get paid...and we know we have a useless court system, so these cases wont move quickly enough.

I remember visiting Chicago and I met a girl at my Uncle's (more like cousin not Uncle sha) church. I was 19, she told me she was 16. We chatted and exchanged numbers. It was when I called her and spoke to the Mom introducing myself that I was calling to speak to her. This is not a Nigerian thing and I am not defenfing the man but when the social media companies let kids stay on their platforms anyone can fall prey.

It’s like the phone has become the new "parent" in many households, while real parental guidance is often overlooked or weakened by the constant distraction of screens and notifications. Parents today are indulging their kids, no one wants to parent anymore. We want the internet to do everything just because you can YouTube how to drive does not mean you can drive on the road from there. Parents now give their kids phones at a very young age, forgetting the wisdom of a TV box was to monitor what is on. Parents who could not cope then did not buy TV sets and their kids did not die. Parents back then too gave excuse that the world is moving on. Yes the world is moving on but you can never change what will be there for years, parents are there to guide children, nurture them and monitor them.

The real issue here is that the internet is a double-edged sword. On one hand, it connects us in ways that were unimaginable just a couple of decades ago, but on the other hand, it can expose vulnerable people, especially kids to serious dangers. Social media platforms often fail to create the kind of environment that truly protects kids, and it’s shocking how easily teenagers can bend the rules or hide their identities to engage with adults, sometimes without anyone noticing until it's too late.

The more complex issue is how teens can sometimes manipulate situations, like lying about their age, leading to false accusations and innocent people being caught in the process. While it’s important to tackle the predator side of the problem, it's just as crucial to look at the broader ecosystem, how social media, lack of accountability, and even parental neglect make it easy for kids to end up in dangerous situations. Parents, for sure, need to take a more hands-on role in educating their kids about the risks and holding them accountable online. But at the same time, tech companies need to step up their game to make sure kids can’t easily "game" the system.

Folks that don't travel home to Nigeria do not know what they are missing...the opportunities are endless, and until you go and relax, you won't realize how much is being left behind. Me sha, I am not flying the AirPeace London route. Old Plane ...not what was promised, which was supposed to be the New Jetliner.

The entertainment system did not work. You had to arrive to the airport 4hrs before departure, I will give the food an A+ and customer service. The wahala is too much...Bags got mixed up and no AirPeace Bag Services at London Gatwick Airport. A lady lost her luggage, which had wedding clothes. Someone left theirs and took hers. All the Baggage services there said they do not associate with AirPeace. No Phone Number to call...I had to call the number of the person who I felt took my luggage in the mix-up. Luckily, she was still outside of the airport...I had to take hers, and then we exchanged it back...imagine the security breach and risk. I was just thinking to myself...what if she had cocaine in her luggage and wanted someone else to take it out for her? It was a colossal mess.

My next trip...I went back to my United Airways/Heathrow. 2 hours arrival to airport means more sleep, easier check-in...I won't even go into taking the bus/train from London to Gatwick, only to wait online for more than 1 hour before the AirPeace opened check-in station. I purposely flew US-London-Nigeria so I can patronize AirPeace..I was disappointed to and fro.

If the Govt requires you to use a particular office, you use it. If your husband wants you to change your surname, you should. If you ask and he says he does not care, then that is his choice. Some women use their father's name and husband's last name. Again, the husband should be ok with that. Personally, I could careless if my wife uses my name or not. It matters more if my children do not bear my last name. As a matter of fact, my wife did not change her last name totally...she uses both and I am fine with that.
