This is what our monachs ought to be doing. Everyone has a role to play. You can gather the youths, and do drainage and block holes...then looks for sons and daughters with means...give them title ONLY and ONLY if they complete a significant project, but our monarchs are mostly corrupt and think only about what they can chop. When the foundation is destroyed, what can the righteous do? HisaacPlus: |
https://www.brava.news/en/nigerian%20commission%20demands%20immediate%20release%20of%20detained%20tourists%20in%20cape%20verde This is an article on this story. While I will not second guess your experience, I am sure Cape Verde officers have a different story. I am always wary of looking at a single story. There is Danger in that. The article stated that you did not have enough funds for your stay. Was there a minimum amount expected? USA is doing the same now...checking accounts, so people wont come on vacation and japa. Sadly, some of our brothers and sisters may have used Cape Verde to JAPA. Before we blame everyone else, we should also look inward. We, as Nigerians, must not be comfortable with bad habits amongst our friends, families and relatives. we excuse criminal behaviors around us, and wonder why the world see us as criminals. Show me your friend, and I will tell you who you are. We all must speak with one voice...criminals stain the country and should face justice. I am glad EFCC is not capturing and extraditing some to the US. Let us not be seen as a people that harbor and tolerate those who do harm to others. symbianDON:

This is what I was telling some people in the Energy Group. The Govt can subsidize Solar Panels and create Solar Charging Stations for Batteries...then convert Transport vehicles to Electric. It won't be as complicated as CNG. Folks will just pull up to a charging station, switch batteries to be used while the main battery charges at the station for a fee. Drivers can even have backup batteries and drop them off for charging. Before you know it, we would have solar battery charging stations everywhere. Same can be done for inverter charging stations. You drop them on your way to work and pick it up...guaranteed electricity. You create jobs everywhere. Gas Stations will lose business for sure...or they can convert. We ship processed PMS and unprocessed crude into neighboring countries for Forex. CNG conversion can be for Large Buses, Trains and Trucks. Trying to convert all Cars to CNG is not realistic and more expensive. Vendor127001: |
The advocates should raise funds, build their own houses and rent them without caution fees Lol. When the tenants show them shege by destroying things worth of N500k after paying N400k rent, they will also wise up and get some sense. Caution Fee is meant to mitigate. A tenant paid N50k for Caution Fee in Ibadan...moving out, we spent over N100k to fix the place up. Getting rid of all these fees will only make RENT increase even more. You want Govt to set Rent? Landlords will switch to short lets and stop renting or stop building. It is tenants that will bear the consequences. dre11: |
We need to see the full data. What does Failure mean...failing one main subject? How many failed Math or English? Which Schools are they concentrated at? It is easy to just pick one data and scream it out, but the full data will truly show. You can release DATA to show that millions fail SAT. Is that a true reflection of public schools in the USA? Nope...some students don't even test well, some do not care and some do not see Education as a gateway to success. ONE SIZE does not FIT ALL etokhana: |
The Govt should provide license for people to export PMS across the border...Diesel, Petrol and Kerosene as needed. It is better to just create a legit way and tax them that continue to fight illegality, which to me is a waste of time. We need some of these custom officers looking for terrorists and inside the forests getting rid of these invaders. iwaeda: |
The problem here is...It is 3hours from Abuja. How many people have business in Minna, Niger? No matter how decongested Abuja is...people would still want to land there if they have business in Abuja that to fly into Minna and travel 3hours by road. If the Gov wants them to use the airport more, he should do the following: 1. Offer subsidy to the passengers so they can choose flying over road 2. Provide Mega Buses to move folks from Minna to neighboring states on landing. Without these synergy, it would just be another airport that can only serve the people during emergency situations. Cubana does, but do you know how much Glo makes DAILY. You cannot compare apples and oranges Sir. KingAzubuike: |
If these govs are clueless...put out a notice that you need security support so people can apply, attend the conference, and provide actionable solutions. Why can't you hire companies to fly drones 24 hours a day? How much will it cost to build a surveillance system across perimeters and train watch guards to checkmate ...and if the Fed Govt is provided with actionable intelligence, do nothing, then release information to the public so we know that people in the Fed Govt are compromised. All these excuses need to stop. What are you doing with the funds you get every month? You should be buying gun trucks and armored vehicles every month. Editorialtimes: |

The mother saw something she cannot understand. I am sure once she becomes a mother, she will understand it too. Like Obey said, "Moms have their place, Wives have their place - wives can be replaced and wives can go, but one's Mom will always be one's Mom." That you dated him for 2years without meeting his parents...that in itself should be a red flag unless both parties were not really serious at first. chi900: |
Genetics plays a significant role in health and disease, influencing both individual susceptibility and the development of various conditions. Genes, inherited from parents, contain the instructions for cell growth, development, and overall health, and alterations in these genes can lead to genetic disorders or increase the risk of other diseases. Understanding the genetic basis of diseases can inform personalized medicine, improve treatment strategies, and aid in prevention efforts. https://www.cdc.gov/genomics-and-health/about/index.html#:~:text=Overview,%2C%20chromosomes%2C%20and%20gene%20expression. I wont keep arguing this...go and look at the food Japanese people eat. There is a correlation with that too...do you also know that health disease is tied to Genetics? I am glad you agree that there are so many factors, so please let us stop the fat-shaming and instead use the opportunity to educate people. Skinny or not, if you have BP history in your family...check your BP often. KidFromForeign: |
The Bus Terminals are for the Buses to pull in to drop people so they can connect to the next buses or to take them to travel...Buses don't have to park there permanently. Folks can sit and wait for buses in air-conditioned bus terminals. This is for BRT not local small buses. You can also have interstate buses, and if well planned, you can connect the buses to the Train Stations. Artiiclebeast: |
Even as a Scientist, I can tell you that we don't assume causation, we only speak on possible correlation and that is why there would always be exceptions. I can share experiences of someone who died at the gym, someone who doesn't play with gym and still had 2 heart attacks and someone who keeps fit and still slumped and died. Yes you can draw on the law of average, but let me shock you...there is no average to destiny, when it is time...it is time. The people that I know that are long gone...you think they were fat and obese...more shocking is that the people you expect to go are still alive while others that look fit are died and buried. Check your complete health status...you are go to the gym and still slump at the gym. Healthy Heart is different from Healthy looking, and now you have been served. DarkJeddi: |
Listen to yourself. Even the USA buys from China. If you want to buy from the USA, you will still buy Chinese products at a high price. We need to have a balance of trade to export things that China must take...and they do...they prefer our raw materials. Can you blame China? They can make things better than we can, so why would they export stuff from Nigeria that no one would buy? Even if the US allows Chinese phones and cars, Americans will stop buying American cars because China knows how to use cheap and high-tech technology in everything. China is the next global superpower, and Nigeria is doing well in aligning itself. All that US noise is just noise... US debts are scattered all over the world. I feel so sad for the US Economy during and post-Trump. Hyperchi: |
They came for the guy and that's why he wanted Uber...and someone inside the Hookah tipped them off that he was there and about to leave. Unfortunately the Naija man was collateral they will probably discover. 77yr old still driving Uber...God please I want to travel and enjoy life at this age not working. It is well teekrackz: |

Ignorance...you can be skinny and still die of hypertension, accidents and illness ...checking your health is a better advice. This is why healthy looking people drop dead...they think looking healthy = being healthy. Don't be ignorant Kajaard: |
Another nonsensical statement. In the South, the soldiers were on a peace mission; they were ambushed by members of the community, beheaded, and killed with their heads cut off. Even in the US, try it and see if the forces will not descend. In the North, it was a battle...soldiers died repelling Boko Haram. The communities did not conspire to kill the soldiers. You speak as someone ignorant of the facts or who just chooses to speak based on perceived bias. It is people like you who want to make everything about North vs South. Next, you will go to church and pray to God, but you are not part of the BLESSED are the PEACEMAKERS. You are truly lost and need to find your soul. fuckingAyaya: |
Innoson is not producing as much...this may actually be a good thing if they are compensated well. Innoson needs to look for great financing for new customers ...Chinese cars in Nigeria will soon sink Innoson if they don't move fast enough. They also need to list it on stock exchange so they can raise capital. Why didn't they disconnect the wires before demolition? My people ricson11: |

PDP can not give ATIKU ticket in 2027. He knows that. He is planning to run in SDP primary with the plan to pick up its ticket. WIKE will then lead PDP to unite with APC for Tinubu. ATIKU will plan to run as a Northern Candidate with hope that Tinubu wont get 2/3rd but I do not see him succeeding. ATIKU will bank on LP issues and will try to lure Peter Obi to SDP...let us win and after my terms, I will support you winning the Presidency. None will work. Tinubu will win. Kwankwaso will join APC and take over after Tinubu. This I have seen. Bobloco: |

I told one of my colleagues...the massive IT breach that took place a while back that grounded all the aircrafts may have provided hackers with ways to down US airplanes. The rate at which planes crash in the US is worrisome. My other controversial opinion is --- US discussed aliens and alien aircraft crash with US Govt retrieving some artifacts. The aliens may be fighting back and jamming electrical devices of aircrafts - both military and civilians. Given the aircraft crashes are not just on US soils alone and include US military aircrafts in foreign countries too...I will go with Option 1. This is scary. WriterNig: |
