If the Govt requires you to use a particular office, you use it. If your husband wants you to change your surname, you should. If you ask and he says he does not care, then that is his choice. Some women use their father's name and husband's last name. Again, the husband should be ok with that. Personally, I could careless if my wife uses my name or not. It matters more if my children do not bear my last name. As a matter of fact, my wife did not change her last name totally...she uses both and I am fine with that.

Yes I made the comparison because the Bible equates men as masters and I highlighted the Biblical verse for that. In the Jewish culture, it is even more pronounce. A lady no matter how old must wait for the guy to pass through the door first. We may say that these old religions are male-biased, and we won't be wrong. It is either we believe in the Word or not. A wife is not a slave in the technical terms but the rise of feminism is based on the premise that women are subservient to men.

If a man wants....according to the Bible, she must not deny him. Did you not read that men are masters according to Jewish law and till today, they still practice that. My argument for women taking on men's last name is to justify it by making women slaves. It is important to know that the hierarchy in the Bible places men above women...and similarly so in most religion. The issue is honesty...they might blame the light but the issue could be pumping machine issues or generator failure which could happen anytime. They tried to at least remedy.

Even with a US or UK passport, they still recognize our names and often see the Country of Origin...and still discriminate. That tells me that our diplomats are either useless or not entirely useful. You need to ask citizens to document all these things and submit them. You need to prioritize this when receiving new ambassadors ...how can we make it easier for our citizens to enter and leave your country? We need numbers for our diplomats to call for backup when denied entry.

Our diplomats only work to collect salaries and to help themselves, their families, and friends gain access. Sadly, you are ON YOUR OWN for the rest of the citizens.
