PoliticsRe: Lagos: 80-million Gallons Per Day Adiyan Water Works To Be Finished Soon by MasterTeeUSA: 2:50pm On Mar 09, 2025
Lagos should look to desalination so they can convert Ocean Water into drinkable water. If Lagos can do that and make use of rainfalls...they may just be able to meet the needs of all Lagosians and properly convert
rain flooding into rain treatment centers...even If people can't drink it, it will serve lots of purposes like construction.

By the way, it will put water truckers out of business so that needs to be discussed now now as well so they won't sabotage the process.

Christianity EtcRe: Why Christians Give Tithe, Seeds And Offerings Yet Remain Stagnant by MasterTeeUSA: 2:00pm On Mar 09, 2025
Another bunch of writeups not grounded in the Word. This is someone's opinion that can be debunked. That there is delay does not mean denial - Abraham, the Father of all Nations.

Please stay clear of people trying to affect your peace.

Happy Sunday

cutecommend:
Giving to God's work is nice. Sowing seeds, giving tithes and offerings are also good. But why do several Christians do this, yet no tangible improvement or real improvements in their lives?
Why Christians remain stagnant after giving seeds, offerings and tithes.

(1) Giving on the wrong altar: If the church you are giving to is using satanic power, you cannot make it.

(2) Giving without Divine direction: Always giving without God's leading may lead to stagnation. You also should give because you are motivated, manipulated or coerced. Give only when God leads...
Someone said give by God's leading.

(3) Giving without Praying: When you give rightly to God, spend quality time to pray on the seed, tithe, offering.

(4) Giving money from corruption: When you give money gotten from hookup, yahoo, gambling, contract price inflation, bribery e.t.c, God will not reward it.

(5) Giving with critical spirit: When you give and still assume your church or other good churches are thieves, you may see nothing tangible.

(6) Not giving to the Poor: Giving to the church and ignoring the poor and needy may lead to low impact of your giving.

(7) Giving with ulterior motive: Giving with the intention that when God blesses you, you will show your enemies, neighbours you have arrived, may hinder blessings.

(cool Giving with Pride: Giving to show off may hinder blessings.

(9) Giving with Offense and Sin: If you have not forgiven those who offended you and if you have sin in your life, it can hinder blessings even after giving.

Happy Sunday to you.

A video making the rounds online has captured a rare and humorous moment between two of Nigeria’s biggest business moguls—Adedeji Adeleke, father of Afrobeats superstar Davido, and Africa’s wealthiest man, Aliko Dangote. Eyes Of Lagos reports,

In the clip, both men are seen at an event, sharing a lighthearted conversation and exchanging pleasantries with close associates. The moment that stole the show? When Davido’s father jokingly referred to Aliko Dangote as his “younger brother” and a “small boy.”

For those wondering about the age comparison—Eyes of Lagos reports that Adedeji Adeleke was born on March 6, 1957, while Dangote was born a month later on April 10, 1957. That’s right—technically, Davido’s dad is the elder by just a few weeks!

As expected, social media users couldn’t hold back their reactions:

💬 Ezeudo Foster: “Tell a poor man he’s a small boy, and you’ll see another side of him! Everything is wrong with being broke. The way I fear poverty, God abeg oo.”

💬 Ifeanyi Ezemari: “See how rich men joke and play as friends, but a poor man will be looking for who to bewitch out of bitterness and jealousy.”

💬 Albert: “Rich people dey play, but poor man wan put mouth. Association of Poor People of Nigeria, abeg make una mind una business o!”

💬 Gloria Dokitsma: “Na rich people talk, nothing concern me.”

💬 Oketa Sunny: “Poor people fighting because of rich people talk.”

This moment is a reminder of how the wealthy often engage in playful banter, while social media debates rage on. What do you think about this exchange? Share your thoughts in the comments!

To curb overspending and bad behaviour, it was important for govt to institute tough policies because Nigerians can be stubborn. Imagine people still have 5-6 kids in this economy and a small baby on top. Now people are adding sense to things and as the economy gets better...we become better stewards. In Japan and China, they are now begging them to have kids. Things have gotten that better

EducationRe: Is Private School Worth The Cost? Let’s Discuss! by MasterTeeUSA: 11:19pm On Mar 03, 2025
and compared to the Public Schools...do you say Private school teachers are more learned? Last I checked, the owners of most private schools are in it to make money, and that is why cheating is a major issue. Teachers must pass students at some private schools just to sustain enrollment. Pay is terrible...some of their teachers are recent graduates, so I would still pick Public over Private. When Oyo State hired new teachers, many good private teachers left for Public schools...what does that tell you? Job security

Redman44:
Some teachers in private schools did not study Education courses at the University, and they are very good . They read widely and learn on the job at the speed of light.

EducationRe: Is Private School Worth The Cost? Let’s Discuss! by MasterTeeUSA: 2:51pm On Mar 03, 2025
Even smaller class does in private schools will not give your child the one on one attention that the child needs. Best to put the child in a good public school and pay for a private tutor. If the public school is terrible or you are concerned about bad friends, get more involved and know all the teachers...they should know your number too. Public school teachers are licensed and on average, more educated than private school teachers because pay is tied to educational qualification, so most public school teachers pursue advanced degrees.

Stepout23:
Education is one of the biggest investments parents make for their children, and in Nigeria, the debate between private and public schools is always ongoing. Many parents believe that private schools offer better quality education, improved facilities, and a stronger academic foundation, but the high cost often raises the question: Is it really worth it?

Advantages of Private Schools
Smaller Class sizes: More attention for each student
Better Facilities: Access to modern classrooms, libraries, and tech tools
Quality Teachers: Some argue that private school teachers are more committed
Extracurricular Activities: Exposure to robotics, coding, arts, and sports
Parental Involvement: More structured communication with parents

Challenges of Private Schools
Expensive Tuition: Some schools charge millions per year
Not Always Better: Some private schools focus more on profit than education
Pressure on Kids: High expectations can sometimes stress students
Social Exposure: Less interaction with students from different backgrounds

The Public School Reality
Public schools, though more affordable, often face issues like overcrowding, inadequate infrastructure, and teacher shortages. However, some federal government colleges and top public schools still provide quality education.

What Do You Think?
Are private schools worth the cost in Nigeria?
Have you had a great experience with a public school?
Should the government do more to improve public education?
Let’s discuss! Drop your thoughts below! 👇🏽

Yes ...and very well trained drivers. How many of those bigger buses going to SE have been in accidents ...not sure why they phased some of them out. In UK, most of their buses are bigger buses...both within the metro areas, within the cities and across the cities ...even the ones that will pick you to and from hotels are at least 25+ seaters. We need to phase out these 10 seater buses. Track the accidents...na them.

Love800:

We need to get rid of small buses traveling interstate. In the US, na 50 seater buses and so on like Greyhound, Peter Pan dey make these types of trips. How many of these huge buses get into these fatal accidents? I would love a stat on that.

My Dad used to take those big buses to Lagos...Mass Transit and will travel at least once a month and did these for decades. I think it was only once the Bus got into an accident, and it was very sad that the others did not travel. But these small buses, its like every week.

If the government is trying to ban big petrol tanks, they should also ban these small buses. Let them travel within the city...not long distances within or outside the states.
