The only thing I like about my job is the children. I teach teenagers and though they are troublesome sometimes they are fun and they make me smile that's all. Pay is pathetic though I won't mind a lecturing job though ![]() |
He is also referred to as Jah. That's one reason I don't understand why people shorten Jehovaah to Jah. Some Ethiopians actually worship him. @crackhaus, nice lyrics. |

No one is really free. We are all doing time till death. Freedom is an illusion and like a caged bird he would one day return to the live of captivity in a gold coloured cage. ![]() |
Beautiful work you do. Pls post more pics. Welldone |
I finally settled for an apartment at Shasha Akonwonjo. Quite good. Renovated flat off the road and spacious compound. Although, there is still work to be done I the interior to make it more comfortable but for 350k/550k, it is a good bargain. Best of all, the area has good power supply. Despite taking the advice here, I discovered too late that I inherited crazy PHCN bills. All the same I am pleased considering my experience. Thanks Op for the thread. |

My current house is actually 300k per year. 3 bedroom ensuite. Water, big compound with parking space and security man to man the gate, also with visitors toilet, wash hand basin in the dining room and fully tiled. Downside is no light. Light is so terrible and the roads are very very bad. Location Isheri Oshun, off Jankade gate, Isolo. Moving out very soon. |
shosky1794:I just paid for a 3 bedroom apartment off Shasha Road, Akonwonjo 350k, total package 550k, fenced compound, water and tiles. It is a renovated flat. Going price during my search for 3 bedroom is 400k average. |
Nice job op. Please how do I get a pack in Lagos? Do you make different varieties too? I would also love some grains like fiono. Thanks. |
Stevosty:Thanks |
I have been house hunting in Lagos for over two weeks now. My experience has been horrible. I have spent so much on agent fees and bikes. Aguda, Surulere has the most inflated price for dumps. If you see what they call 2/3 bedroom flats. The finer newer ones come with its special price tags for those that can afford it. Total package is always above one million. I am so tired, stressed and pissed off. The number of broken down water closets I have seen this past few days eh! I ought to use hypo to wash out my eyes. House hunting in Lagos is hell. |
trumovement: my experience today. I just weak |
I downloaded the form successfully but I can fill it, even though it opened did anyone else experience this? |
moyinoluwabun: guy you harsh o. |
Op, you just narrated my experience today. After I coughed out 2k to fill form I was taken round some very very terrible places called residential apartments in Yaba. And the line of agents was so long, in fact the last property we saw, the main agent with the key was no where to be found. I tire for house hunting in Lagos. |
Am interested. Or do you have any other similar apartment for 400k a year? Pls reply |
banio:Sorry for your loss. May she RIP. They would probably play on your grieving heart. Good you resisted the urge. |
Pls love yourself. If you want to lose weight then do it for yourself and not for any person. Fact is after having kids the body changes. So what happens if your bust sags? If a man does not love you as you are he won't love you when you change(slim down). So my honest advice as a wife, mother and woman is to walk. You will get a better person who loves you as you are. Best of luck. |
Congrats girl. Hope I can get a copy at Unilag bookshop or Ikeja mall? |
Very clear and easy to understand. This economist predicted right but of course, we do not enjoy the truth. We only value fake prophesies. |

Thanks op. I have been hearing that slapping noise lately from my driver side tyre. Also my back passenger tyre is bent and out of alignment with the other tyres. Could it be the hob or something else? Thanks |
Thank God for your sister op. Such experiences can never be recounted unless experienced first hand and I thank God for helping us through it too. God be praised. |
Wow! Nice one. Hope not too pricy |
