Checked out some whey protein and it was 8k upward,
Do you really think complan is whey? I don't think so tho(I might be wrong). Which other one can you recommend within that price range
I'm in abj and the neighbour environment is quite different from that of Lagos. I think Cement with the sand would make it heavier.
Thanks

Complan is just a food drink but the ones in flavours are protein shake and very helpful.
Yea, cement with sand is a good idea

This life eh! While you will be so happy to reach 80kg, I would give my right arm to be your size. I was overweight before so I did a lot of research and worked out and lost some. I buy books a lot along the road and I have "Men fitness and health" year book. It has tons of workouts and meal plans and everything about men's health. If you want I can send it over to you but it is hardcopy. Else, do online research.

Lol thanks for the compliment,
I checked online for some dumbbells but I think they are expensive, I might just have to use cement to make one,
Can u recommend any available protein shakes, whey and supplements?

Whey protein cost between 2000- 4500 naira. Some are more expensive. You could also try complan but that is a food drink.
For dumbells, a quick one is to fill small buckets with sands and lift by the handle. If you are in Lagos you can get affordable ones at Ojuelegba. Look around your neighborhood you might see where guys workout, befriend them and join them. Cheers

Family / Re: Why Are Cases Of Infertility Common With Wealthy Families? by masties2(f): 10:44pm On Nov 12, 2015
I think it is just part of life . That is you can't have it all. Also, lifestyle is a factor. Diet, exercise, etc.
The poor also have the patience to bear TTC cos they cannot afford the cost of alternatives such as IVF. But the truth is that's just how life is.

Hello op. I actually think you are cute the way you are cos the older you get the younger you will look.

Back to topic something's you need are
1. A dumbbell. Buy different sizes. 10-20 kg.
A bar bell you can make urs with a strong iron bar and cement.
After eating your meals. More carbs and proteins lift weights immediately. Google weight programs for different part of the body.
2. Take protein shakes. Very important. They help you build muscles and repair torn tissues. Also take whey powder ( also protein) all these shakes and meal supplements make the difference
3. Be consistent. Don't give up.

Take palmwine or pap(akamu) u can also take watermelon juice. Another tip is to rub eko(agidi) on your nipples.

Djdoxxx, are you in Ketu with goods? I had some customers from Ikotun calling to ask about supplying them. I would love to come over to Ketu to see you and buy some plantain.Regards

I think it is better to process the leftovers.

Good day fellow mamas for we are all mothers. I came across this thread in my search for a good hospital for IVF for a friend's friend. With tears in my eyes I read post after post. God is wonderful. I shared this thread immediately to my other friends and didn't even know one was suffering in silence. God is immensely Good. This community is full of love. My prayer is that you all carry your bundle of joy in your hands. Labour room shall become favour room. As God has done it for me easily and without stress so shall yours be. Fellow mothers rejoice for your testimony is here.

Business / Re: My Experience In Egg Distribution Investment. by masties2(f): 10:22pm On Nov 01, 2015
Thanks Blackkie for your time. This has always been my dream business. Thanks for sharing. I approached a distributor and was told no eggs till next year cos of the scarcity, they were forced to ration. I also noticed retailers like unsorted eggs to increase their profit margin. Once they see ur eggs are sorted out they move to the next distributor

Sorry for my late reply. I have been very busy. The Ikotun survey went well and I was able to get some customers. However, I discovered from interactions with them that Ikotun market cannot absorb a high amount of plantain. I met the plantain leader and he was very positive although he has a lot of people offloading for him. Ikotun is willing to buy at a higher price than Ketu but business will be slower and you would be forced to spend days to sell off your mechanize. I would advice that after selling off at Ketu the left overs be brought to Ikotun or get the contacts of buyers at Ikotun and deliver their goods to them.
P.S - How much did you sell to Ikotun market women last? Selling is also direct as there is no Olobe.

Buying plantain and transporting from Benin, the ROI was rather low from my calculations. A coach of plantain goes for between 60-70000, depending on bargaining power and has about 15- 20 dozens. Transport per coach in a 911 truck is 8000 per coach. Loading and market fee Is 2000. In Lagos heard I have to pay for produce, I don't know how much. But like you said planning is important and getting a market. I do hope you can guide me in Agroprenuership

Pavore9, u are a store of information and I have been following you on Nairaland for long now. I always learn something from you.
Djdoxxx, you could consider Ikotun market. The market is huge but has no plantain depot. The sellers buy from Mushin and Ketu. I think that we could try it out.
