Madam don't mind them. We know where this is coming from. Once the fuel scarcity subsides, the President, will stop attacking Mr X,Y and Z |
We have heard this before. Instead of running to the press with this James bond tales, the PDP should be spending their time trying to come up with measures to counter this purported manoeuvres by the APC. PDP, what are you going to do about it |
Mynd44:It's either he steps down or we will all crash and burn with him |
doctokwus:They wrongly joined his convoy thinking it was that of Timipre Sylva ... The same people who uttered this statement, also claimed this http://www.misspetitenaijablog.com/2015/10/police-recover-n27m-from-fleeing-festac.html?m=1 |
"awọn oriṣa kọ o, awọn enia ti o kọ, aiye kọ ọ." This were the words every Alaafin from the old Oyo empire feared the most. They were usually uttered by the bashorun, after he had conducted the Orun festival, and had assessed the Alaafin, with the mesi council, and had thus found him wanting. The JAGABAN and leader of the ACN faction of the ruling party has over the years made so many reckless mistakes, some which could be forgiven, but this time, it is best he steps down from his position and allow a new leader, to emerge with fresh ideas. His latest misadventures, began with the Senate leadership tussle. He backed Lawan and Akume, and chose Gbajabiamila to lead the lower house. At the end of the day, Saraki, who is by far a junior to him in politics, defeated and decimated his attempts to control the Senate. Next he tried to rubbish and destroy the ambitions of his successor, Fashola, who was being tipped for a plum appointment by the President. After his attempts to expose the ex govenor as a corrupt failure, he failed woefully and only managed to catapult the govenor to the position of Minister of Power, works and housing. He failed to get any of his anointed disciples into the President's cabinet. The likes of Falana, are still licking their wounds. He has lost virtually any influence in the affairs of this government, that his right hand man, Osinbanjo, the VP has become so irrelevant, that the President neglects his decision as he does his minister of state for petroleum. It got so bad that a mere govenor, El rufai, disgraced him at a meeting. He has no channels to communicate his ideas to the President, so much so that even the hated predecessor to the President, has seen his successor more times than the Jagaban. It is widely rumoured that he and some unscrupulous members of the NWC tried to plant their own stooge as the APC gubernatorial candidate for the Bayelsa elections. Sylva instead dealt seriously with them and disgraced them, by forcing himself on the party. Oshiomole is still licking his wounds. Now once more, he has been disgraced in the market square. A MERE Yahaye Bello, has managed to upstage the Jagaban's anointed and legal successor to Abubakar Audu, in the Kogi debacle. His silly candidate, Faleke has decided to waste his time at the courts, and has shot himself in the foot, by rejecting the position of deputy. All this failures are too much too ignore. The JAGABAN, should swallow his pride and step down from his leadership position. He has led the Yoruba progressives to an inevitable slaughter, which they may not survive. The time to stop him from destroying completely the ACN is now. Someone should please give the Alaafin of ACN the parrot's egg, before it is too late. http://an24.net/2015/11/30/8061/ |
babayinka77:Well said. I concur |
donphilopus:There was nothing in my comment that was not factual. |
Anoneism:Saraki is still presiding over the Senate. Gbajabiamila is managing the kiddy office of House leader. Forget about Tinubu getting any victories in this administration. The ACN should just go back to the drawing board and start planning their ignoble campaign to lead the nation in 2027. |
Has Tinubu not learnt anything from the Saraki saga. He has no clout in the APC, he should just make do with the scraps that fall from the table, and stop heating up the polity. Faleke and his boss should just manage the number 2 spot they have become accustomed to. If he is entertaining thoughts of Osinbanjo replacing BUHARI, then he needs to see a psychiatrist. |
I thought they said that Faleke had been picked. That man has shot himself in the foot. He should have just swallowed his pride and taken the No 2 spot. This makes it clear, that if God forbid, our president drops dead, we will be in seriously trouble in this country, as the Northern CPC faction, will turn the constitution on its head, and replace the President, with Dan Ali. Tinubu has exposed his weakness. |
Political telenova has entered season2. If this does not end up exposing Dasuki, and convicting him of corrupt practices, then am afraid the President, should end his anti-corruption campaign and leave it for the next head of state. We can't keep on wasting our time with all this theatrics. |
The NA and the Nigerian police will soon deny it. They will claim some nefarious youths in the community were trying to solicit for alms, and mistakenly started a rumour. |
The explanation by the police looks farfetched. That was how they claimed during a robbery in festac, that they had reclaimed the stolen money that had been dumped by the bandits an hour after the robbery. |
aariwa:Really, tell us something new |
Now we know who tried to kill Ekweremadu and who actually killed Audu. The APC should be very careful. We don't want a recourse to war |
Faleke and Tinubu are wasting their time |
It would be a miracle for Oby to protest against the government in power today. As long as OBJ is satisfied and still feeding fat, Aunty Oby is going to remain mute. |
On a more serious note, the President has no other choice than to give the yams to the goats. He made arrangements with the devils, and then after being granted his wish, he now wants to deny them their due homages. He should just honor his agreements with them and stop playing Russian roulette with our lives. Everywhere in the world middlemen and merchants thrive, and provide service to the masses. There is no country that survives without the actions of middlemen and economic buccaneers. Even in China and Russia, you still find such characters. This is why I was vehemently against his rise to power. Men like him will promise heaven and earth and will fight X, Y and Z and at the end of the day, they will leave office and Mr X,Y and Z will still be left to enjoy the cookie jar. Because this characters actually sponsor the ambitions of men like our President. Yesterday I was watching a documentary on Mozambique's first President, Samora, who shares the same traits as ours, he fought everyone from the Portuguese down to his own party members. Now, years after, he is dead, but Mozambique is still in ruins and education is poor with high levels of corruption ongoing in the public and private sectors. We don't need a hero, all we need is a smart politician. |
Even the airlines are feeling the heat
|
seunmsg:You should be saying this to the EFCC, ICPC and the AGF, not me. |
Minister of Power, Works and Housing, Mr. Babatunde Fashola, is meeting with the management of distribution companies, DISCOs, today with a view to acquainting himself with them and also intimate them about his expectations from them on the way forward. http://www.vanguardngr.com/2015/11/fashola-nerc-meet-with-discos-on-tariff/ Let it be known, that the "ARCHITECT" of modern Lagos has began his herculean task of turning around the moribund power sector

The soup was sweet, until the cook decided to go overboard by adding more salt, but mistakenly, ended up pouring an entire sachet of salt into the pot. "There was a slight twist in the story after the 2015 general election when a senator got wind of the N60 billion expenditure and tried to blackmail Emefiele, demanding N5 billion in order to keep it away from public scrutiny. Emefiele reportedly resisted the pressure from the senator, insisting that he acted based on a presidential order". |
LouisVanGaal:https://www.naij.com/643069-goodluck-jonathan-58-top-58-quotes-ex-president-nigerians-can-never-forget.html I think this is the most rational response. |
I saw this somewhere, and just felt I should share it. The character is said to have reacted to the news that Kemi Adeosun has no knowledge of the returned loots, after he had celebrated the announcement by the president that looters had started returning their stolen monies. https://www.naij.com/650914-new-finance-minister-raises-alarm-says-buhari-yet-give-details-recovered-loot.html

All this manufactured evidence will not help this administration, to achieve the required results, it needs to receive the mandate for an encore. At the courts , this evidence will be torn to shreds, and Dasuki, will breathe the air of freedom, but the President might not get a 2nd term. So who is the loser. |
dammytosh:You will continue with this philosophy till the president is voted out, and you have been turned to a laughing stock on Nairaland. |
Smart comment. But a smart man would during a fire, call on his neighbours who are equipped with fire fighting equipments who can enable him put out the fire |
ShowYourCertificate:So many President's will be there. Will they save a special reception for only him. His first visit was a state visit. This, on the other hand is a conference call. |
benarex:The climate change conference is a necessity. Almost every head of state, in the world will be present at the conference. Even the almighty Putin, will be there. Also, the gains of honoring such an occasion, are endless. |
Tinubu will shift ground, like he has always done, at the eleventh hour. Then he will turn to his online warriors for activation of his contingency plan. Yahaye Bello will be the candidate. |
ofenmanucom:That was not my major concern. I was trying to pass a message. If we insult and ridicule our media, then where else will we get our information from. Also double standards is a problem with this forum. |

How about 'common stealing, you people would call it corruption'
