Drop your Jw teachings. Read the Bible chapter by chapter and verse by verse. Your brain will reset. The JW teachings has programmed your mind in only one direction. They have made you see things only in their own light.

You can't go through the whole Bible especially the teachings of our Lord Jesus without concluding that there is indeed a place of torment where lost souls go to. I can quote over 20 verses for you but you still won't believe. Just take your time, read the Bible with open mind. I give you one month, if you are truly honest, you will renounce and burn all the books of JW. And please, use another translation other than the JW NWT which is full of wrong translation.

Do this for the sake of your own salvation and many others who have been deceived. Remember, there is no repentance in hell. Only weeping and gnashing of teeth day and night. Once you are there, you are there for eternity.

The people of Sodom and Gomorrah and still suffering after they were destroyed with fire. Their souls are in hell. Read the verse below:

Jude 7
Even as Sodom and Gomorrha, and the cities about them in like manner, giving themselves over to fornication, and going after strange flesh, are set forth for an example, SUFFERING the vengeance of eternal fire.

The word suffering is in present continous term.

Please, don't quote any other verse to show me what you believe. You should believe this one also. Or you want to call this verse an idiom since it doesn't agree with your theology.
