My advice might seems childish, but reading through your words, I could visualize a guy with no prospect and future ambition. If your goal in life is to build a home for your mum which is not bad at this age shows how short your reasoning ability is, what happened to setting up a stable Business for yourself and creating a system for generational wealth from your proceeds in the transportation business.
After you're done with building the house, you'll now start looking for ways to restart your life again abi. I'm sorry, you're a mumu man |

Razgas: does it have to be made by someone in the first place? Saying someone should make it before it exists on its own is like me saying a being supposedly as powerful as God must be made by someone else before he exists? If nobody needs to create God, then nobody needs to create the universe. Both can exist on their own might Human knowledge about life and the universe is actually limited, in our quest to know how everything was created we'll always fall into a loop. It's just like an intelligent Ai robot thinking it just actually exists. Isn't that laughable. |

What is bad in believing in God huh?
What do they have to loose? I just tire my man, but sometimes I do understand these folks perspective cos they speak through sentiments and past painful event that made them doubt the existence of God, but that doesn't mean he doesn't exist. |

truthCoder: Your answer captures exactly how the human mind has reasoned the immense wonders of the universe for thousands of years.
Long before street lights and artificial light pollution, when the night sky was clear and silence of the night was real, the first men, while lying on their backs after a wholesome meal and pleasant sex has always reasoned that way.
The human mind believes anything they cannot use logic to explain should be from a being greater than them.
In Book-keeping/Accounting, when an accountant is trying to balance a trial balance that refuses to balance, he puts the difference in what is called a suspense account. He would come back to tackle it later.
God is man’s suspense account. You claimed you talk about facts, I asked you questions based on facts man and you're yet to answer. The Earth was made to support living, You breath, cultivate land it yields fruit, your wounds get healed, you communicate and also your abilities, Out of all the million galaxies,it's only our milky way that supports life . Who made these or how are they created, how did they evolved? |
Education › Re: 4 Times Albert Einstein Was Asked About God And His Genius Replies by Maxxim: 8:49pm On May 25, 2022 |
truthCoder: To understand the idiocy behind the god invention, you need to understand scale.
The scale of the universe.
Once you understand how small and almost irrelevant our planet is, then you would realize the folly of a god.
Let me give a small analogy. Imagine All the students of univeristy of lagos gathered in a stadium.
Now imagine a random student out of all of them.
Now pick that student and remove one hair from his head.
That single strand of hair in size compared to all the mass of the students, that is the size of our planet compared to the observable universe.
The unobservable universe on the other hand operates on a scale we cannot even fathom.
Saying there is a god who is micromanaging our lives in such a context is fit only for marvel comic series Your illustration doesn't share any similarity with the analogy about the mighty being instead it raised a question that, how can such universe be designed so beautiful that the earth is the only planet that aids living being, not to talk about that of our complex body genetics, there must've been a great master craft who has planned and crafted these so miraculously. Isn't that true? |

pansophist: Lol, Ireland is attractive because of English, but compare to many places in Europe, its not the best. Firstly it rains alot, with winds and foggy, and its also very very expensive. Ireland GDP per capita is one of the highest in the world, but its reality is different. The people are not that rich.
I was shocked when I saw lots of homeless people on the streets of Dublin when I was there in 2019, something I've never saw in Netherlands or the Nordic countries. Ireland is good if you're coming straight from naija, but not where you live in places like Germany or even the UK. I actually have some few people there and I believed it's due to this reasons they're planning to relocate. Thanks for the inputs sir |
Travel › Re: Best European Countries Nigerians Can Immigrate To by Maxxim: 5:52am On May 24, 2022 |
pansophist: Go to Finland. If you can secure their admission (which is not hard) and pay their tuition fee, then just go there. The good thing also is that it has a sure path to citizenship for students and is one of the countries (alongside other nordic countries) with the world's lowest-income disparity. So you can be a taxi driver earning the same as a bank manager.
Don't take my word for it, see the link below. It was about a Ghanian man that was facing deportation because his income is just too high for his job. He was working for Wolts (the Finnish version of Jumia food) and averaging 5000 euros (3M naira) monthly. Yes, you heard that right, someone delivering food earning 5k euros a month. So if you have muscles like a kangaroo, are not lazy, and can work hard, better Japa to Finland.
https://yle.fi/news/3-12435902
I have been to Finland many times (the Nordic countries generally), and it's heaven on earth, only on the condition that you do not mind the winter. In fact, that is the single reason I will never live there and left actually after my studies in Sweden. If you have been to the UK before, then you will know that Nigerians in the UK are suffering, apart from owambe party and English, their quality of life is far below Finland. Young guys in their 20's cruising nice cars with their own apartments. Life's good. The country has a small population and is very wealthy, so the government can take good care of you all well. My guy, GO TO FINLAND. Sir why is no one talking about Ireland, and most of the people I know there still plans to leave to another country, what's so wrong about the country? |
