This is for women or men who are not self sufficient. It goes both ways. That's why it's important everyone develops and ensures they are financially independent at least.

The problem women has is environmental, when she is young she is raised to believe that any man who loves her should provide everything she wants. That's why the moment you toast a Nigerian girl, 2 hours later she is billing you already.

With this mindset you hear most of them tells a struggling young man 'You no get money you dey toast woman?'. They grow up this way into married adults who believes it is the husband's responsibility to take care of the home, theirs is just to cook, look after the children and watch movies at home. Some of them don't even mind checking up on what their men does for a living. They don't want to be involved in his business so they learn how it runs.

Then suddenly, death or divorce comes and takes the man away and she now realizes she is economically useless. Some can still re-package themselves to start hoeing but the competition from younger female counterparts is fierce. The men are generally looking for younger females. Depression comes thereafter.

Oh ye young girls of Nigeria, be economically empowered, learn a skill or a trade, work for your own money. In the long run you will be glad you did.
