GDP per capita indicates standard of living of a country better because it considers the population. Not merely mentioning the total GDP value EKONGKING: India GDP is 3.7 trillion and Singapore GDP Is 350 billion , many states in India have higher GDP than Singapore and using ur anology are richer than Singapore.
So where would u migrate , India or Singapore . |

Its not about size but productivity. Nigeria is around 8 times bigger than UK itsme01:

Rwanda is like Oyo State or Niger State in size
With $11bn, many Nigerian states are richer than Rwanda

Dont say what you dont know. Singapore isnt a 3rd world country but one of the most developed countries Racoon: See a whole Singapore-a fellow third world country ranking first in the global aviation hub, but Nigeria has not even producing a matchstick in its 63 years of miserable existence plagues by all manners of problems. From corruption, to ethno-religious supremacist violence, grossly incompetent, corrupt & wicked leadership
Meanwhile, while the world is making progress in this hub of economic investment and global travel, Nigeria government is shamelessly lying, scamming and defrauding it citizens and country with a fraudulent national carrier built on foundation of lies and propaganda |

The truth is there's no strength in only having a large population of people but having a large population of "quality educated people" NB: Not educated in Nigeria context because Nigeria educational system is dead post=125152819: A whole country is less than 500K in population. And just 1 Local Government in Nigeria out of all the 774 LG have more than a million people!!!
May we be lifted up to the GIANT OF AFRICA we are being called Our population and diversity should be out strength, As we see in China, But alas...hatred, bitterness and foolishness is driving us back. One day, we will get there as a nation. #Sigh! |

Pls how does the UK gains way more from Africa’s natural resources annually? I noticed you mentioned Shell earlier.....Is Shell owned by the UK govt? kwakudtraveller: Imagine calling people’s view on neocolonialism nonsense just to sound politically correct. The UK gains way more from Africa’s natural resources annually than the change they give in the guise of "aid". Na our leaders I blame, if they didn’t mess up the country to the point where we all had to run to another land for "greener" pastures, we wouldn’t be having this conversation where people see opposing views as faux activism. When some of you are done jocking the people who were actually born here, remember that your passport is still green, you are still black and changes in immigration policies still affect you regardless of your visa status. |

I think the race discussed here is the Nigerian race and not the generic "black" race. However, despite the mention of the word "black", an invention of a black man raised in America or Europe is mostly a function of the society and system which he helped propel his/her invention which such system doesnt exist in countries like Nigeria. I don't think the crux of the conversation should be about the "race" of the innovator but more on the system and society. kwakudtraveller: What in the world are you even talking about. A LOT of inventions came about from black people. Including great medical discoveries by NIGERIANS who have made discoveries on Cancer and Diabetes. There’s a whole movie about a Nigerian doctor Bennet Omalu who inspired the movie Concussion. If you are too lazy to google, here are some inventions by black people.
https://dailyhive.com/seattle/inventions-by-black-people
STOP TALKING DOWN ON YOUR RACE! It’s ridiculous and continues to purport the narrative that black people are not good for anything. I can’t believe I’m educating another black person on the value that we bring as a race and he’s saying that I’m adding emotions to it. Do better |

Imagine when Africa was the shining light of civilisation[/b], if the caucasians who came and saw the level of development and "technology" simply sat back and said their race was inferior to the black race, perhaps they will be in a similar situation like we are in now. Where did you get your fact? Or all this is based on your "personal feeling" LeoDeKing: Medical check up and treatment are personal issues. We are aware a pastor was preaching that Remi Tinubu should poison Tinubu to death. That is the one that said his mind publicly. There are millions who won't say it but stealthily working day and to achieve that goal. So I won't advise Tinubu to seek medical care in Nigeria.
Tinubu cannot tell politicians, governor, commissioners, friends and family members, top business men and women, top security agencies not to join in felicitating with him as he visits Lagos. 90% of those vehicles in Tinubu's convoy belong to them.
This convoy propaganda died the day it was hatched. |

You can bring as soon as possible but you dont need make plans of marriage because you want to get your partner to be with you (Mentioned because i have seen it happen often) Actually you bring your partner through an "Unmarried Partner" route. You just need to show evidence of living together for 2 years through a tenancy agreement where both names will be included, Joint bank account or joint insurance coverage plan Newbie123: Good day guys...
Abeg make Una epp me answer this one because na love matter . I'm hoping someone has had a similar experience.
I'm on a Tier-4 visa and my course ends some time in August/September 2024 (I need to confirm this)
Thing is, I need to know what my chances are of bringing my partner(not married) over for
1) a visit Or 2) join me permanent.
2 is based on when/if we get married.
For the visit, what do I need please? What steps do I need to take and how long do I have to apply?
Also, if we go down the marriage route, how long do I have to bring my partner in as I've heard things like before 3 months to the end of your course or something.
Abeg make una guide me. Thanks |

Don't think there should be an issue mentioning the Job title. Its fine if you don't mention the employer and i agree to that but not the role. You might have not mentioned the job if you didn't want to mention at least the job title as its expected for people to ask such gmacnoms: Thank you.
D other question is too direct, and I’ll pass.
I came in, I cleaned up my Cv with resume-now dot come ,and applied to Jobs that match my history experience and desired pathway. I applied to over 30 per day. Indeed, company sites, Cv library, etc. anywhere wey work posting Dey. I also called companies and recruitment agencies.
I also walked round the city for Posters and job posts
I also had a cv (I put in informal experiences) to apply for care support roles, because I can do anything legal to pay my bills.
I was lucky to immediately get one that matches what I desired, which is the desired pathway. |

And this is moral/ethical? Should always be enforced irrespective of the party, there's a reason its called a "Law". . Unfortunately, Nigeria would continue to struggle to grow with this muddled system it has seunmsg: Not in a situation like this. It has not been enforced because most times, opposition members always decamp to the ruling party or the party in control of the National Assembly leadership. Any defection that will turn the ruling party to a minority party with the prospect of a leadership change in the National Assembly will be resisted. Their seats will be declared vacant immediately. Trust me, they can’t pull this off. |
