Still not a justification not to meet up with agreed salary. This is part of Nigeria's problem where people give justification for bad behaviour because nothing will happen SmartPolician: It's always easy for Nigerians to wail about how their employers don't treat them right. Now, tell them to start their own businessess, they will look the other way. Nobody is ready to face uncertainties in a hostile business environment - those who take bold steps to start up something for themselves and create jobs should be appreciated.
You people need to understand that people do business in this country where the irresponsible government doesn't care. They are more interested in doubly taxing a new business instead of allowing them enjoy some tax holidays. It's even worse in Lagos. To even get bank facilities to boost one's business is a big problem.
And the government doesn't seem to care because they are even worse. It's the same government that owes workers months of salaries and years of pensions. If they do this, what moral rights do they have to punish erring companies?
In my opinion, until we shun religious and tribal sentiments, stop collecting 5 -10k to vote for idiots and start electing the right people, this madness will continue for a long time. But then, just so you don't complain, quit and start something for yourself. At least that's what some of us did. Then, you will see what your boss is going through. |
Family › Re: Paternity Fraud At Its Peak! by mayo47(m): 7:43pm On Jun 28, 2022 |
This one event you experienced doesnt mean you should arrive at the conclusion that "its at its Peak" Maverick777: Top of the Morning Y'all!
It was yesternight after work, I decided to stop by a grocery shop to stock up as usual. On coming out, driving through my estate back gate, boom! A cluster of people gathered, some at different sides of the road, others at the scene, I looked closer it was a lady and a guy fighting, and others were just watching not separating them, I pulled over immediately (best decision I ever took). If it was any other scenario I wouldn't have even looked twice, but you see man beating/fighting woman, I detest it!
Before I could come out and asked what's happening, the lady already burst the guy's head open with a stone, he had blood all over his head/face, ah! then joined in another guy slapping her and pulling her hair (she kept shouting OMONIGHO!), I was like what the f***, what if her husband or brother shows up?
Just before I wanted to go and separate them, I just said lemme confirm what's happening... I finally asked, -wetin dey happen?
'Bros, this lady husband just catch her with man dy comot for hotel so, he call secretariat boys to drag her and the man go, na wetin she dey fight so, say she nr wan go'. -were the husband so? 'see am for there'.
Woah! the husband stood behind a highlander jeep on his phone, now it made sense why she kept shouting OMONIGHO!!! Further findings showed that, they've been married for 5years, he has asked her time and time again, their child is always falling sick(he's SS), and the man is (AA) ,she always downplayed the fact... Now, rumor had been going on that's she's cheating, but since he is a bonkery(oil people) worker, he's mostly out of town. From what he said, he said the child looks exactly like the man he caught the wife with now...
Boom! off they drove to secretariat, younger me would've driven along the convoy to see the end... but for my sanity sake, I chose not to.
Now, what's happening with women nowadays? if you see the husband and the man she's cheating with, they're world's apart oh (husband dust am in every facet) is it money, attention, sex, high-libido, urge-to-explore or what exactly??
Some say women don't marry who they love, but who's ready, even at that, you should know you're married and respect the union! Do you know what it means for a man to marry you, provide for you and end up to be training another man's child?
Why do MARRIED women cheat? The men sleeping with the married women are useless oh, no doubt, but you can make a case that some of them don't even know the ladies are married..
I'm getting scared every passing day about keeping an undercover slut at home.. You people pity us(MEN) nah. Most women no longer have shame.. Sodom and Gomorah babes no do reach this one oh.
What do these women actually want?! |

Blame the previous and present FG. There's a limit to commercial devt the states can drive that would lead to migration of people to other state asides Lagos. Lagos benefits from brand equity being the former capital of Nigeria, positioning of Head offices of 80-90% of biggest companies in Nigeria, market base of people with higher disposable income. Until the FG find a way to improve econ development in other states by encouraging companies and people it would continue to be like this. dplordx: What is this?

Why does the Intl Trade Trade Fair need an Executive Director and a board? Just a waste on resources. Instead all the trade fair should have as a structure as one organization and a joint board instead of for example Lagos have a different set of board compared to another location maybe in the east. AlexReports: Buhari Appoints New Executive Director Of Lagos International Trade Fair Complex Management Board
President Muhammadu Buhari has appointed Sir. (Amb) Charles Onyeka Okoye the Executive Director of Lagos international Trade Fair Complex.
His appointment is contained in a letter signed by the Director Policy, Planning, Research and Statistics (PPRS) and presented by Minister of State for Trade and Investment, Amb. Mariam Yalwaji Katagum on Thursday.

"While assuring of the Honourable Minister's support, please accept the congratulations of the Management and Staff of the Ministry."
Sir (Amb) Charles Okoye, Anambra born graduate of Computer Science has a humongous experience in project management.
He has worked with some notable organisations at various capacities including Macrohard Computers, Director of Protocol to APC National Deputy chairman (South), Project Artchitect/Liaison officer Top Ventures Ltd and as Personal Assistant/Confidential Secretary to the chairman Pentagon Petroleum among others.

Scenario 3 would be tasking but the most rewarding in the long term evuna: My sister is 26 years and a graduate of Statistics from a federal university in the South East. There is an issue, more like a blessing. She had been writing aptitude tests since and failing but something remarkable is happening this year. She has been passing all the graduate trainee tests and interviews this year. She is at the final stage of Cerdar group, Stanbic, Meristem and Oilserv graduate trainee program. Just waiting for offer letters. She got an offer into Wema bank graduate trainee but rejected it because of 2 years bond. She is currently in Gt Bank graduate training school.
The issue is that KPMG just invited her for their test which is physical on Saturday. The Gt bank program runs from Monday-Saturday. I have been trying so hard to convince her to take take permission from the tutors at Gtb and go to write the KPMG test. She refused that she does not like Accounting as she read Statistics but she was open to it before this year and had been writing tests of different audit firms. I prefer KPMG to Stanbic and GT and want her to give it a shot.
She is 26 and this is her last chance at any graduate trainee program. Please what do you guys think? She is confused too.
KPMG ( yet to write the test) GTB ( in training school already) Meristem ( Waiting for offer letter) Stanbic ( Waiting for offer letter)
Which among the above listed is the better choice for a graduate of statistics and is the KPMG test worth taking the risk. Please I need opinions from Nairalanders as I told her to allow me take my time to think about it.

You'll be better off in UK in the long term if you develop a "feasible plan" today kode12: With all the info you've given, then it's best you remain in Nigeria, because it'd take a number of years to get that big boy lifestyle you're enjoying in Nigeria abroad. If you're going with 4kids, the cost of child care is going to be significantly higher that whatever it is you're paying in Nigeria at present. Yes, though the student route is easiest, not all translate to permanent residency after school, so that level of uncertainty is there. You must open your mind to the possibility of packing sh*t, mopping floors, and doing other manual labour, you wouldn't have a choice anyways, esp with 4kids, moreso, with your limited number of work hours as a student, things will be initially rough, and madam will need to hustle too to balance the equation.
