[quote author=Adminisher post=39415831]Wishful thinking. Amateurishly put together. Nigeria is not breaking. Nigerian Muslims are mostly Sunni aligned so where is Ayatollah going to come from?. Nigeria is not going to break up . There will be administrative improvisations to make it less irritating to its constituent nationalities.. I see an Ibo man behind this post. You accept the economic advantages of a large Nigerian market to the mercantilist Ibo tribe but reject it's political consequences.
What I foresee is the wipe out of the current empty and corrupt political class by Buhari or his successors. They are all in for painful times PDP or APC. A new class of people more attuned to social service and good name instead of money will come to the fore.
The world is very globalised so there is not going to be much desire for idxxtic clannishness. There are already second generation Nigerian families in the US, UK and Canada. Most young Nigerians will live and work abroad throughout significant portions of their lives. Nigeria's GDP is $560bn but Apole and Google already have market capitalizations almost equal to that so National Governments will continue to lose influence in relation to Global Organisations. In the middle breakaway regions but too much blood may flow first and God will not
If I talk now your ppl who own NL will block me. I have a lot to say for another day. |

dainformant: After a photo of governor Nasir El-rufai of Kaduna eating a sugar cane in public went viral, some labelled him an embarrassment and public disgrace for eating what he wanted to eat at that moment .... Did the governor state break any rules by eating sugar cane in Public? The answer is an emphatic NO....Here are pictures of various world leaders including Western power leaders eating what they love
Living in Hausaland in the 50's. Sugarcane was popular street food. I remember when a car driven by a non muslim hit an hausa elder who was eating sugar cane and caused him minor injuries. At the alkali court they gave the driver some sugarcane to eat and tell the court his experience. When he said it was sweet judgment followed: A man eating such a sweet thing should not be blamed for not seeing an oncoming car. He was jailed for 'shakera bieru' or 5 years. It was fun then in el rufai s Kaduna.

I see a lot of people with sand in their brains unable to make their point without insulting the ppl of Biafra. If u truly hate them so show it by letting them GO peacefully. That was thecase between Singapore and Malaysia shortly after WW2. After the civil war they should hav been left to stay on their own as was case between China and Taiwan. Does it always hav to be the way of Sudan and S/ Sudan or Korea and N/Korea? One thing is sure- Biafrans want to leave the union and they are morally entitled to it. No forced union works. |

iamdotune: I don't know what to call this, an art of implication or fraud.
My dad and I were coming back from office, we saw a police man that stopped us and pleaded to carry him to his check point, my dad being a kind man allowed him in and then told me to come and seat with him at the back seat so the official can seat in the front with the driver. We never got to any check point before the policeman said he's okay here that he should alight..
We dropped him, then we saw two bullets rolled down from underneath the front seat to my dads leg, we were not conscious, he was like what a pity this man forgot a bullet, we couldn't turn back and give the bullet back so he took it and threw it out from the window. We got to police checkpoint they stopped us, asked for some particulars, though our glass was tinted they asked for that too, the man checking the particulars insisted it was a stop and search we should come down, then I started thanking God that what if we never found the bullet..
They searched and searched and found nothing they made a signal and one guy went a feet ahead to make a call, came back annoyed then my dad knew what was going on, I'm pretty sure he never thought of the bullet then he said haven't you searched enough and then they let us go.. That was wen he said did they want to implicate me or what when i was thinking they forgot a bullet..
It's not a joking stuff o.. Please be security aware Morale is . . . hav nothing to do with police. Be neither their landlord or tenant. |

Onyejiuwaokoh: why did they invite him first ? They thought he will donate immensely as usual but got disappointed when they saw 200k, if the money was 200m do you think they will reject it. He was not invited. If he was invited his donation however small would not have been rejected out of courtesy. It is possible also that he would have given millions then. He is looking for validation and was rightly denied. Usman Dan Fodio (Rochas uncle) once said that whatever a man is desparate for should be denied him. |

Doctors cure illnesses. Death is not curable. Even those rich ones the seek 'cure of death' overseas, do most of them not come back as cargo? Please free the doctors. If that can happen at St. Nicholas Hospital of all places, you can imagine the unquantifiable loss of life going on every minute in the most rural primary health centres. Death of a young man like Charlie is painful and a loss to all of us but we must put limits to our reactions. The senior doctor who failed to come also have been battling his own health challenges. As for their shirts standing like plywood, try seeing shabbily dressed non professional. |

ocelot2006: Cowards can endure basic military training. That changes during combat. And the Brig. General failed woefully in the protection of Baga. Anybody can sneak through obstacle courses and get his commission. The battlefield is the real testing ground for soldiers. That fela was a hemp smoking lawbreaker does not make him brave. It does not also amount that all the Kutis are brave. They cannot all have tge same genetic code. Any tribe that generally hopes that charms and amulets will provide bravery in the heat of modern warfare is not only cowardly but also misguided. They flee when the charms fail. Hearme: You lack military bearing, who told you generals dont go to war, who leads?. As a matter of fact he was the multinational Joint Task Force Commander at Baga, a special operation different from the Operation lafia dole. That Task force has been even before Boko Haram started. The General will be released because he has been in detention for more than 6 months and his dismisal will be converted to retirement on further appeal. Gen Kuti is a very hardworking and nice officer known to me since he was a Capt in the 90s. It was a well planned 4am attack by Boko boys. m Are we still talking about gentlemanly qualities of jsrdwork and being nice since 90s? Nobody gets convicted militarily speaking on such grounds. We are talking about leadership under pressure. I wish him well though because nobody fights a formidable enemy with toys. |
