Everybody in that area are running for their lives, while shop owners are locking their shops I will keep you guys updated in the mean time |

9ja politics sha...... Maake una no cause wahala for dis country ooooo!!! Sai Change |
The All Progressives Congress (APC) has warned against any “orchestrated, last-minute disqualification of its presidential candidate, Muhammadu Buhari, in order to pave the way for an easy victory for President Goodluck Jonathan or even another postponement of the elections”. ”If it is true, as it is being widely speculated across the country, that the Jonathan administration has procured a judgement to disqualify the APC presidential candidate on Wednesday, when the federal high court in Abuja is expected to rule on the issue, then it portends a great danger for our country,” the party warned in a statement issued in Abuja on Tuesday by Lai Mohammed, its national publicity secretary. “In addition to other reasons, the six-week postponement of the elections might have been used by those who never wanted the polls to take place in the first instance to shop for such a satanic judgement. ‘”Anyone who will disqualify a presidential candidate on the eve of an election can only have one and only one purpose for that: to trigger chaos and pandemonium across the country. Perhaps this is the reason for the deployment of troops across the country to crack down on possible protests and create confusion; then, those who orchestrated the disqualification will simply use what they expect to be angry reactions nationwide as an excuse to postpone the elections again, thus triggering a constitutional crisis, the end of which no one can predict. “This is why we are hoping that good reason will prevail and nothing will be done, deliberately, to plunge Nigeria into crisis by the same people who have always been quick to say their political ambition is not worth the blood of any Nigerian.” BY Musa Abdullahi |

The Inspector-General of Police, Suleiman Abba, has cautioned police personnel against misuse of firearms during the forthcoming elections in the country. Abba stated that arms would be used only in extreme circumstances, stressing that all police officers must protect the rights of citizens at all times. Apparently refuting a statement credited to AIG Joseph Mbu, who said “If one of my men is killed, I shall kill 20 of them but don’t shoot first,” the police boss reassured the public that “the Nigeria Police has a mandate to save and protect lives, and not to kill, contrary to recent statements in the media.” The IG said this during a meeting with senior policemen at the Force headquarters, Abuja, according to a statement by Force Public Relations Officer, Emmanuel Ojukwu, on Saturday. “IG Suleiman Abba, advised all officers of the imperative necessity to apply caution in the use of firearms, warning that except in extreme circumstances, arms shall not be used during the forthcoming elections,” the statement read. While admitting that there were circumstances under which an officer might be provoked in the course of duty, the IG stressed that the attributes of a police officer as contained in the Police Regulations, required him to exercise “tact, patience and tolerance and the control of his temper in trying situations.” He observed that the rule of law is the underpinning tenet of democracy, which he noted would guide police officers in the discharge of their roles during the polls. Abba restated his commitment to observance of the rule of law and the respect of the fundamental rights of citizens and residents alike by all police officers. He cautioned officers to avoid excesses, pointing out the dire consequences of abuse of human rights as contained in the recently released Human Rights Practice Manual. He also restated the preparedness of the Force to provide the requisite security before, during and after the elections. |

The Federal High Court in Lagos on Wednesday restrained five telecoms firms from suspending All Progressives Congress (APC) campaign fund-raising platform. |
I have learnt a lot from the Buhari certificate monomania. Since it happened I started looking for all my certificate. Infact i have safely kept the receipt for my jamb form, post jamb, lecture notes, textbook, photos infact my signing out white vest too. Who knows anybody may request for it. If someone who schooled before independence can be asked to present his certificate, who am? If you are lucky enough to still have your secondary school uniform and sandal please keep it. Who knows any clueless person can ask for it. |
