Both US and Israel free to withdraw their membership from UNESCO which is the decision of incumbent leaders of both countries and not decisions of their populace - for US, Trump doesn't understand international power politics as he continues to commit blunder in Middle East, Russia, Western European countries and Far East Asia and he's popularly seen as unreliable partner.

If another regime came, US may rejoined UNESCO, no big deal on that as the world will still move on.

It is very obvious that a sitting president must have critics while his supporters will surely support him...
