olanajim:My brother, I agreed with you totally. |
It has never been an entertainment. To me, this is a show that is not only debasing women and even men, but an extreme of immorality depicted in a show that does not educate, inform and entertain. It is the latest form of porn! Where is the National Broadcasting Commission? |
jkpretty:As rare as they are, people like you help shape the world with truth. You are damned right, baby. |
one funny thing is that, posts like this is usually an avenue for the unmarried guys to vent their anger towards the married. Today they will be the ones to speak against extra-maritals but when they are finally married, they indulge in the same act they earlier kicked against. What a jealous world! |
Leave home for a while and when coming back, buy somethging nice for your spouse. |
ThiefOfHearts:We take the good and do away with the bad and corrupt! ThiefOfHearts, I love your consistency. But this time, please call a spade a spade. |
Protect your own mamaput. As far as she is still under your roof, she has no absolute freedom. She either obey you or choose the way that pleases her; but then, she would have made up her mind to leave your "bunk". Period. Therefore, the issue of over-reaction shouldn't arise at all |
ThiefOfHearts:ThiefOfHearts, what meanest thou by this? You fail to realize that in marriage, the woman is the person that can make it work. These little things a woman does, call it respect, go a long way to cement the union. Unwise ladies often make vain attempts to follow wild western styles and forget that it is respect for the husband that ensures successful marriage. If you doubt this, slap your husband just like the western babe and see the consequences. |
ClimieNH89:Of course, there is high rate of divorce over there compared to what is obtained here in Nigeria. Such might not be unconnected their so-called ''open eye''. Is that what we want to achieve by imitating them? |
My creed is Be Thyself. Ethical value is Being Closer to God while my ideology is that the obstacles and desires of life are clues to one's purpose in life |
Is it every woman that will mean no she means to say yes? |
@tnaidaR, what is my offence now? |
The best thing that can happen to you now. I pray that God gives you a woman who will not call you by your real name. She should initialize the name and make it 'sweet' |
Designplus, you've got to understand that some MEN actually know we're right and agree with us. There is evil in the world because of the devil not because of women. Besides not all of us are seeds of Eve because as I understand it. If Eve was evil, that means everybody but Adam is evil as welllol, abi o
waoow! |
emmeno:Sounds a bit unclear. Could you be more explicit please? |
moondust:Can you expantiate? |
Jackal:Do you mean, the Afroking did not understand women enough to draw a conclusion on what affects them? C'mmon men, where are the apostles of the legend! |
Just it takes same to meet one good lady out of a thousand and one! |
Joey82:Is it true that you can live with someone for donkey years without understanding the person and 'her' behaviour? |
ThiefOfHearts:ThiefOfHearts, See me as very different guy! Know me and you get hooked for real. |
Quote from iice " people generally are pretenders". count me out! I don't say yes when I mean to say no. quote from basetsana " may be your so called legend should say the women he knows" But he had dozens of them. Was that not enough to understand them? |
I think I will support some level of sanity in terms of fashion. We cannot continue to tolerate indiscipline, moral decadence as ways and part of fashion. Some ladies are actually going to the extreme. Their manner of dressing is as good as nudity. Fashion means manner or style. It may be your manner of dress, the style of speech or the mode of dressing without necessarily compromising morality. According to established emptiness and trifling nature , wise people look to substance of comfort and convenience and not to the shadow of fashion. Great men unconsciously set the fashion, fools blindly follow the fashion; but wise men/ladies make the best use of it. It is enough of this provocative and seductive craze all in the name of fashion! |
ThiefOfHearts:ThiefOfHearts, can i always meet you online, or better still on y-messenger for some personal discussions. my ID is aruadiohwo |

What babes are concerned with these days is how they can maximize their benefits no matter the odds the guys are faced with in any relationship. |
Ordinarily, nothing is wrong. But the fear that usually emanate is that every guy has turned a predator. Ladies are also willing to bulge in most cases. |
Through what I would call "conflict resolution mechanism". It's strenght is usually derivable from your ability to communicate, give and take and be willing to forgive at all times. |
Rememeber "Ebami Eda", the Afro Legend? You know that he had many wives. So in terms of women issues, he can be regarded as an authority. In one of his popular piece title 'Yellow Fever', he did say women will always mean the opposite of what they say when it comes sex-related matters; that they are great pretenders. According to him, "if a women says, i no wan do, she means i wan do". How true is this view/perception of women? This further resurfaced an issue which has been treated somewhat in this forum. Despite their (women) claim that they are not, can we take Fela's perception seriously? Please let us be objective; and the ladies will do us a lot of good by their sincere responses. Thanks. |
Because the exercise predates history |
Unfortunately, I didn't grow up to see mine. But I call him Wise One posthumously. |
ThiefOfHearts:Unfortunately, we haven't heard from designplus for a long time now. I hope he is hale, hearty and living? |
