Exponental: MTN has quality control dat sensors what transpired between customer and the agent, so if u feel insulted by the agent's response, try call back, report to another agent making reference to time and the conversation, u can bet, dat person is in ssshitt
I will do that right away. Thank U.

Phones › My Conversation With MTN Customer Care This Morning by mcevans1(op): 10:34am On Nov 09, 2012
It all started this morning when i woke up to check my MTN balance to find out that #32 naira has been deducted from my account. I called the MTN customer care helpline to know the reason why and this was what transpired between us.

Customer Care: Good Morning Sir! My name is Oyindamola. How may i help u?

Me: My Name is Alex calling from Lagos.

Customer Care: Okay Mr. Alex. Are you calling from your own MTN number?

Me: YES

Customer Care: OK. How may i help u?

Me: For the fact that i haven't called anyone on my cellphone does not give MTN the right to tamper with my airtime.

Customer Care: (She started laughing) Sir, can you please repeat yourself again?

Me: (Angry) Dem tell you say i come here come play?

Customer Care: Okay sir! I remember now. You said MTN deducted your airtime right?

Me: Hot tea dey your mouth when i talk am before?

Customer Care: (she chuckles) Okay sir. What kind of phone are you using?

Me: Chinko dey subscribe to BIS services?

Customer Care: Okay sir. You are using a Blackberry right?

Me: Ask me again

Customer Care: Okay sir. Please hold for a moment while i check your number. (LAUGHING)

Customer Care: Sir! R u there? Hello?

Me: I no say una sabi lie. So tell me the lie. I dey hear you.

Her laughter became obvious and i could hear another lady asking her the reason why she was laughing.

Customer Care: Ok Sir. From my computer

Me: "Cuts In" I dey hear you

Customer Care: I see that your BIS subscription is still active but the reason why your airtime was deducted was because you are using MTN default wap settings. So, please follow these steps to change it.

Me: Abeg tell me another LIE.

Customer Care: Oga, abeg i no wan laugh. Thanks for choosing MTN

[quote author=naturalwaves]@Oluface, why are you making fun of someone when your use of English is so sick? embarassed embarassed. How can you say ' your thread make front page'? undecided How does that sound to you? Moreover, if you say YOUR THREAD MAKE (sic) FRONT PAGE FOR OVER 3 YEARS THAT YOU HAVE BEEN ON NAIRALAND, what it means is that your threads have been making front pages which is not what you meant to say. Go and edit your post and express yourself properly. Who knows, you might need a refund from your English Teacher as well.
@Olu, Pot calling Kettle back. Have you checked yourself recently? I know you are good at insulting ppl in your own language but expressing yourself in English is a difficult task for you. Atleast, he made a point and one could understand one or two things he said even though he didn't slot the tabs properly. undecided undecided

Health › Your Personality Can Be Determined By Your Blood Type by mcevans1(op): 1:49pm On Nov 06, 2012
In Japan a person's blood type is popularly believed to determine temperament and personality. "What's your blood type?" is often a key question in everything from matchmaking to job applications.

I thought this was fun, but a quick search showed that there is alot of research into this idea.

So here it is. Check out your blood type and let me know if the description fits you.

*Blood Type A:
Personality traits: Conservative, introverted, reserved, patient, a perfectionist.

Worst traits: Obsessive, self-conscious, sometimes uptight and stubborn

People with blood type A are considerate to others and extremely loyal. They can be quite secretive and reluctant to share their feelings.

Many are tense, impatient and unable to sleep well. While they are capable of leadership positions, they may not take them because the stress is not good for their tightly wired systems.

*Blood Type B:
Personality traits: Creative, flexible, individualistic, optimistic, passionate.

Worst traits: Forgetful and sometimes, irresponsible

Type B personalities are empathetic, easily understanding others' points of view, yet often hesitating to challenge or confront. Chameleon-like and flexible, they make good friends.

However, type B men have a different reputation and aren't considered as 'marriage material' in Korea, where they are perceived as 'players' and are often selfish and mercurial.

People who are B blood type have a different set of characteristics than people who are Type O or Type A - they are susceptible to different diseases, they should eat different foods and exercise in a completely different manner.

*Blood Type AB:

Personality traits: Cool, controlled, introverted, rational

Worst traits: Critical, indecisive, unforgiving and aloof

Type AB personalities tend to be very charming and popular. They don't sweat the small stuff and can be seen as spiritual and even at times, a bit "flaky".

They are believed to be controlled by their heads rather than their hearts. Sometimes it is difficult to be an AB. AB's don't like to fit in anyone else's "boxes". If they feel too confined, they'll break out of that box and do things their own way.

*Blood Type O:
Personality traits: Ambitious, self-confident, robust

Worst traits: Arrogant, insensitive, vain

People with blood type O are viewed as natural leaders and are often keen athletes. They are outgoing, expressive and passionate. They have an insatiable appetite for success and aren't afraid to take risks or a gamble.

So what do you think?

Crime › Re: Police Lists Hot Spots For Ritual Killers by mcevans1(m): 10:34am On Nov 06, 2012
berem: exactly! I always see them too whenever am going back home from work.even when the IG have banned them from mounting road blocks, they are still seen at that particular spot collecting bribes from heavy duty trucks and eating bush meat.their vehicle is always stationed after the bridge and yet they do absolutely nothing! What a shame!!
Only God will help us in the country called Nigeria. If care is not taken they might use that opportunity to rob ppl big time because anything can happen when no one is watching.
Crime › Re: Police Lists Hot Spots For Ritual Killers by mcevans1(m): 10:12am On Nov 06, 2012
berem: since the IG of police banned road blocks, that road is now free from police officers who extort money from motorists.Obadore bridge is worse.that bridge is now a place for ritual killing, armed robbery and car snatching.Last year,I saw like 5 lifeless bodies lying in the pool of their own blood on the bridge.I am very sure they were victims of ritual killings.have you also noticed that whenever you pass that bridge, you perceive offensive smell of decaying corpse? Its really a shame on the part of the LASG that since Lasu-iba road was constructed, the street lights haven't worked for one day!
The bridge stinks mostly at night. I pity okada riders that ply that road btw 9-10pm in the night. They even turn off their headlights the moment they are on the bridge but its still risky. Even the RRS at Mechanic bus stop before u get to Obadore are not doing anything about it. Their only biz is to stop heavy duty trucks, search, collect money & eat bush meat at the joint close to them on the expressway. Street lights can never work when there is no security because it will be vandalized at night. The street light only comes up once in a BLUE-MOON.

berem: you were damn lucky! Next time avoid sitting at the extreme near the door whenever the conductor refuses to close the door.also avoid entering keke napep at night on that road.there have been an incident of those ritualist planking the tyres of a keke napep on that road and they succeeded in killing some of the passengers while some escaped.
My Dear, that night was a nightmare! I could not sleep or even drink water. I have stopped sitting at the extreme near the door ever since that incident happened. Even KEKE NAPEP is a NO for me even if they are charging 5naira. Berem, it seems we were in the same bus when an okada rider was dragged into the bush by one hefty man. Judging from the way the police reacted when they where informed thata ritual killing was going on. The worst part of it is before you get to Obadore you will see about 12 roadblocks mounted by the police collecting money from drivers.
