Barca will keep Thiago, that i am very sure of. Remember his exploits at the U-19 a while ago and how his profile and integration into the team afterwards became a thing of immediate neccesity, and the coaching staff didn't rest. He was immediately promoted and in fact saw good playing time as the season progressed, and he even started a classico. Montoya and especailly Bartra have both been impressive, and are highly integral to Spain keeping a clean sheet so far in the tournament. I can only wish the lads get playing time this next term, at least in home games against weak sides. That is how we can get the best out of them, and not in emergency situations, and then expect them to live up.

To the Spanish national team; the quartet of Xavi, Iniesta, Busquets, Cesc worked circles on the Uruguayans. Did anyone see that pass by Cesc to Soldado for the first goal? That was classic! I think the team may end up not needing Xabi Alonso anymore to do the double pivot. With a much younger and mobile player in Javi Martinez, poor Alonso's time in the national team might just be on roller sleeve. Pity!
