There are no side effects, other than the usual ones that occur in nearly all marriages (age factor or not). And if i may ask, why should a man demand so much respect from a woman he calls his wife? I just don't get it. If you truly love your selves in a marriage, the respect would come mutually and work well. The issue of old age is null and void as far as i am concerned. You are what you become, whether or not you marry someone your age or otherwise. And come to think of it; its sheer selfishness and ego tripping on the part of men who think of "what happens" at old age. Why should the woman be the one to take care of her aging husband? Whatever happens to live and let's die! It works both ways my guy. jUST follow your mind and be good to the woman you feel love for.

I can cos I know there is nothing wrong with it. Infact, I prefer to marry someone my age or that I'm slightly older than. It affords both party a friendly marriage, one devoid of overt respect and submission #justsaying.

Work place romance aren't always a pick for me. I like it off such situations. Perhaps, a "mature" chop-clean-mouth-situation might be ok.

Stuffs like that only happen when u date cheap and worthless girls.

I agree with the points you raised concerning the inability of Nigerian bloggers to focus on one niche like their American and European counterparts. I think this is bourne by the fact that the average Nigerian is selfish and thinks he can't make enough money if he focuses on one niche.

You do have a point here. Some people believe in multi-choice approach to blogging. I always advice people to stick to a particular flow and seek what works best for them. By profession, I'm a fashion entrepreneur cum designer. Its only natural for me to channel my expertise towards that line. Hence, my blog, www.fashionaira..com provides fashion tips, trends and reviews. But then, regular updating isn't easy in my case considering non-avalance of topics and know-how. But as most people have raised herein, what keeps ms moving is the passionfor what I do.

Thanks for the response. Like i said, i'm starting my masters next year; my point is if i can get such position with just my Bsc. My CGPA is 4.43 at bsc level. Adding to that, i don't have unilag as my alma mater.

Well said @yawatide. I agree with the both of you. But that said, it still doesn't culminate as to why we have few people recording blog success. That exactly is what i want us to look into.

Some lies are very essential to keeping a relationship. In my views, it's not everything about you that your partner should know.

You have a fair point there about money. But then, the most universally appreciated form of reward or encouragement for any venture is money! The blogs you mentioned are the few successful ones there are. And they are run like a company; have paid writers and staff.

Pls I'm interested in the position of a graduate assistant job at unilag. I'm a graduate of philosophy and have interest in becoming a lecturer. My masters programme comes up next year at unilag. I wish to know the requirements involved and if anyone has an inside info. Thanks

Hello friends, pls don't pay so much look on my use of the word, "successful". What I implied by that is, bloggers who earn plausible income oFf their blog. I'm a Blogger myself and have been working my a s s off getting quality content and traffic to my blog. However, there are blogs out there with high traffic, yet they make little or nothing from the blog.
I just wonder why this is the case. I've seen blogs by Americans and Europeans with little quality and u find them raking highly from google. Many of them don't even update regularly, which doesn't stop their earnings. So, I think its high time we discuss this. My no one observation is that, most people (Nigerian web users) don't click on ads. Many see it as a distraction or some sort of virus pull.

1. There are no universal principles guiding every human relationships. Its a case of one against many. Smiley
2. You made a mistake (well, from my own experience) by letting your girl know the extent of your feelings for you. Most guys suck in this regard. You never let a woman know the extent of what you feel for her. You only let it out in piece-meal.
3. Communication is a two-way affair. It must be done mutually with no party feeling hushed in the process. However, experience has it that, the party that loves the most does the higher portion of the communication bargain. THIS sucks! Embarrassed This is the case with you. Otherwise, no sane girl will tell her b/f she wont call for a month. Undecided
4. Take time to evaluate your love life occasionally. You never can tell the extent such procedure could go for you.
5. Always take charge of your relationship; be you a man or woman. Lay the rules that benefit you the most. Apply a utilitarian approach to life!
