bykebyke:Its quite unfortunate and a shame for football as a sport to imagine that, Tapnaldo would be crowned the best football player come January 2017. It is just appalling. The Balon, should he win it, which is clear he would, would simply be a reward for mediocrity and not a just reward for true talent, pure sportsmanship, artistic appeal and team collective contribution. A player with a poor/inferior stat to a goalkeeper(not even an outfield player) is no stuff for top ten spot. |
Bolustic:Exactly why i believe this nation can never be good. |
ROCE:Exactly my thoughts! This new struggle for BIAFRA is wrongly premised, and its timing is telling to a single point, The Last Electoral loss. |
A part of me wished she actually stole the said sum and used it to build a viable industry and employ the youths. At least, given her level of influence over her husband and her active role in the last regime, such sum should be chicken change to her. But, to appropriate such funds for foreign trips and personal sundries is simply evil and should be made punishable by death. Yet, she goes to church and pray to a God, something 99.9% of her country men and women indulge in. With minions like her in this doomed country, there is little or no reason to be optimistic for a better tomorow. |
dmcdad: DUDE IS HYPER-OBSESSED WITH THE BALON.. |
eph12:Spot on, bro! |
eph12:He did win UEFA Best deservedly a few years back. He's a genius on and off the ball like god-Messi and Lord Xavi. |
sebod:Im just sad god-Messi is back playing for that shitty team.. Theyd let him down again when the stakes are highest. Bloody c*nts! ![]() |

dmcdad:There's nothing like a "natural position" in football, just the typical stereotype of the fans and pundits. A good and versatile player is just good, and thats what he is. Nobody was born a natural goalkeeper or defender, its picked and nurtured over time. S. Roberto is a solid player! Viva Barca!!! Puta Madrid! |
Nigerians, always leaving real issues for trivial ones. How does her tweet put food on your table? This is why our leaders keep playing us. They know we're petty and can never stand up to them. wHERE on earth do you find a less than 1% population holding a wholesome 99% plus to ransom? |
Three kinds of posters on this thread; Igbo commenters, Yoruba commenters and neutral commenters(person whos neither Igbo or Yoruba). Its so clear to see why this country can and will never move forward. SMH! Instead of addressing the key challenges in view of raising awareness to or against the government to spurn them to do their jobs, yall are here spewing thrash over petty diatribes that can impact so little on our lives. I never understand why we find comfort in leaving the real issues that affect us in favour of ethnic or religious bigotry. |
dermmy:Oh really? Which would you suggest? |
youngeagle:I think the OP is trying to emphasize the need for individuals to make a honest living. Having so many living poor, with a few super rich is not a ready feature of a sane society. Such a status quo is wrong! |
The MTN plan is currently 320mb |

TRendlona:I did.. The ball was hot. |
Its so sad to see C. Bravo leave. I know M.A.T is sure for the future, but keeping both quality players should have been the bet, not replacing one with a less capable hand. I mean keeping both and alternate their play roles(league games and cup games). To be honest, J. Cillessen is a shitty goalie. He plies his trade in a lowly league with poor players and has hardly proven himself in advanced stages/occassions. I'm not fan, but I hope his acquisition would turn out for the best. Viva Barca! Puta Madrid!!! |
CrazyQuinn:And you think she couldn't have been a part of the "less than 5%"? |

Mayowa was doomed from the start, she couldn't have survived the treatment for stage IV breast cancer, the survival rate for stage IV is less than 5%. Those people are just looking for who to blame
