The problem here is not even the Fulanis. It is the Federal Government. It is obvious that there are criminal elements among the Fulanis as much as there are criminals among any other Ethnic group in Nigeria. But inaction and docility on the part of our sleeping federal government is the problem here. The Fulanis are now taking the law in their hands and the Yorubas also have a duty to protect their native land. This Wahala tie wrapper o |

Abeg make them calm down the situation so far. I am not supporting Hausa to kill your people but a situation of Anarchy does not favour anyone. Just imagine women and children in that whole chaos. Make the matter calm. Tedpgrass: The below is what set this off....
Do you even know what happened? Are you living here in Ibadan? An Hausa man was beating a pregnant woman and the Yoruba man who came in defense of her was also killed by the Hausa man. That is how everything started or you want the Yorubas to fold their hands and keep watching Hausa killing them? Why would the Hausas think that they have the Monopoly to kill at will? They are now crying now after they started what they can't finish...... By Shegra
What's quite apparent is there are more people calling for war or reprisals who are NOT physically in these areas and likely to lose little or nothing in the event..
They are also the spectators crying for blood, fuelled by half-truths, tribalism, ethnoreligious divide whilst pursuing their personal varied agendas.
All I'd say at this point is for everyone to calm down, let individual offenders be punished, perennial injustice to host communities or otherwise be corrected and recognised legally.

I am not defending anyone but sometimes a mere rumor can trigger this kind of mob action oluwaseyi0: They are protecting the killers herdsmen, they all know themselves and since the government especially the federal has shown no commitment of protecting the locals they are doing it how best they deem it fit If they chase out all northerners or let them understand they will pay heavily for shielding the criminals among them, they will all sit tight and in a bid not to incur the wrath of the locals they will expose the criminals in their mist |

Now I know I am talking to an ignoramus. Educated illiterate isthatso: You talk too much sentimental nonsense. The fact that a law exists and isnt applied doesnt mean it wont be applied in your case, the job of the protesters is not to put themselves where a legitimate law of the land is applied and their protests can be scuttled. Go and tell a policeman the above story you typed when he arrests you for not having extinguisher that he too doesnt have extinguisher in his car. You want to put yourself in a position where there is nothing the police can use to legitimately hold you and that is what the protesters failed in.

What of forex? What you are saying also applies to forex, also you have not given me strong points to convince me that cryptocurrency will collapse overnight one day like MMM. In the first instance mmm and crypto are not in the same league. Have you checked the number of people that Crypto trading feed in this country, not even Dangote can employ or pay the number of people that do transactions on crypto as their mainstay or as alternative source of income. So don’t you think CBN should research further or get consultants to research on how they can control its use in illegal operations rather than outright ban? ichidodo: Cc Mctobe ...Sh**t happens in the world that doesn't concern or affect economies or Govts...But there are things...So small and petty that if left unattended to can create significant problems to economies and govts...A good example is the cryptocurrencies bubble which is currently ongoing. The outflow of fx for intangible things such as Cryptocurrencies without inflow of goods or services can lead to severe distress I. our economy...Maybe Dangote might stop building his refinery and put his money on bitcoin... Imagine the distress to the economy...Now imagine entrepreneurs doing like Dangote all over the country.. Less Jobs will be created..and you know what that means. How can a market with the kind of capitalization like BTC and etherium crash the way you are saying it. I will like to have a better explanation from you of how you think Crypto can possibly collapse...Just an objective conversation no attacks ichidodo: Even though market speculation is our forte....Banning crypto is the best decision this regime had ever taken....You think MMM was bad? Try Crypto, that sh**t is MMM on Steroids,Cocaine and Heroine combined...Yeah, we know MMM f**ked individuals up even house holds weren't left out. When the bubble around cryptocurrencies eventually bursts whole economies maybe Governments exposed to it will collapse...We already have Buhari sending our economy to the stone age, the last thing Nigeria needs is to be exposed to a future crypto global economic meltdown....I rather invest in cows, honestly. |

Once my landlord asked me to park out for owing her just two months. Meanwhile I was paying yearly, I know Preety well that I can go to court because she cannot just give me one month notice to park meanwhile she is supposed to give me six months notice. I sought the advice of my Godfather, he advised me to look for money and parkout for her, when I protested about my right he asked me to think of building my house some day and my tenant taking me to court in my property and how I will feel about it, immediately I drew the lesson therein for me. Eventually I parked without any trouble. Some tenants are worst than parasite |

My friend if you meet bad tenants, you will find yourself contemplating selling your hard effort house. Once one owed my grandparents up to four years, can you imagine that? He was asked to park even with the rent he resorted to going to court yet he does not have money to pay. This is not a cooked up story o but true, so tell me what you will do in that case?. greggng: Pls let us be human for once. The lockdown in nigeria affected every soul. If there is no economic activities going on, were do you expect citizens to get money to pay rent? In saner countries paliatives , stimulus were given to citizens to reduce the effect of the lock down . My tenant has being owing me since 2 years but I ask him to go look for one year rent ....cos I understand the effect of corona viruse on citizens ...instead of two years ...he is gonna pay me 1 year. Despite that I visited the apartment to fix the fence and other minor repairs ...one day we shall all die and abandon all this wealth ... |
