Car Talk / Re: Reno Omokri: I Never Realised What Car Horns Were Meant For Until I Went To Uni by McTobe(m): 8:36am On Sep 12, 2021
You are right, I once used my car without horn for two weeks, I realized that I was more careful and I flash my headlights more especially when I want to overtake heavy vehicle which I usually use horn to alert.
Ogeneigbo1:
I realised car horns makes most Nigerians drive recklessly.
One day I went for a function ,my car horn was very Okay.. immediately after the function, I entered the car only to find out the horn is dead .

I thought of how to drive on the road with all the bike , Keke and other road users,I felt like parking the car,on a second thought, I zoom off.

I couldn't imagine that I drove this car without horn extra carefully back home...
I drove it again without horn for two days because my schedule was very tight to go see an electrician.

I never believed I could drive so carefully..

After the incident, I concluded that we abuse car horn in Nigeria.

Bloody illiterate lawyer always insulting your country, no sense of Nationalism (Love for one’s country) Your knowledge is not foolproof. When you want to overtake an articulated vehicle on the highway or you want to negotiate a very sharp or snaky road that you don’t see the oncoming traffic it’s permissible to use your horn. But All for safety purposes not just for emergencies as you generalized. I hate People that paint their country as less.

Well let’s be Frank Tinubu is a godfather as far as Nigerian politics is concerned. However, such persons with enormous power should not be President. What of people like Osinbajo, Fayemi, Peter Obi etc. we don’t even want Atiku.

I think it’s mid level officers that usually plot the most successful coups because they can still understand the suffering of the masses. Generals rarely plot coups except when they are politically motivated to do so
Kandeed:
The real MVP....On Nigeria's side, the current dispensation Nigeria Generals are just so weak n docile just like their civilian counterpart, Nigeria's Generals are rather feeding fat and growing pot belly instead of rescuing the sinking Nigeria. despite the rising cases of Top officers and commanders being killed anyhow, they feel less concerned. things were not this terrible when Ojukwu and Gideon orkar attempted to effect a change funny enough they were not even Generals yet

Politics / Re: IPOB Sit-at-home Continues: South-east Traders, Others Lament Huge Losses by McTobe(m): 11:43pm On Sep 04, 2021
I see a lot of foolish comments all out of hatred for the south easterners. There are not more than four objective assessments of the issue in all the posts.
1. There is no place that freedom come free. Not even the voting that everyone that is 18 today came free. People were jailed for it and even killed. Not even the Bible that everyone read today came free, at a point in history you have to hide to go to church or you get killed.

2. Civil Disobedience, Declaration of parallel public holiday and other peaceful means can be adopted when you are struggling they all have their goals and consequences on both the oppressors and the oppressed

3. Take it from me or not people don’t read beyond what they are taught in school. Only a few read vastly that’s the reason for all this trash we call posts here

4. Ethnicity, religion have blinded the youths even the few who are widely read, exposed and know the crux of the issue suffer under the weight of this ethnicity and religion

5. Lastly there is no method that IPOB will adopt that other ethnic nationalities in Nigeria will welcome. First they were using peaceful protest but were shot at in broad day light, then they resorted to force to protect their place then they were still castigated. Now they are using sit at home still people are criticizing

6. The only thing I disagree with IPOB is burning government properties and killing servicemen

7. I don’t think BIAFRA is realisable but there is nothing wrong in standing up to an aggressor that the federal government in all their mights cannot stand up to.

Aurelius1:
In a lion pride there's usually an alpha male who has the sole right to mate with the lionesses. Any other male who attempts mating with any of the females is usually killed or banished by the alpha male. This can continue until another male engages and defeats the alpha male in a fight. When that happens, the new king usually kill all the cubs sired by the deposed king.
Thanks for the Insight

U are wrong, apart from Close Bodies who take second oath of allegiance to the President which is in accordance to the service Act, the Allegiance of the State Services is to the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and not to the President or Party in power. The way the service operate today is a totally wrong.

THE NEW KING OF ITSEKIRI IS A DEFINITION OF TRUE ROYALTY

The moment he started singing his Glory to the Lord His GOD is a must watch.

Was it his speech that was recited from heart(Speech writers need to go to his court for a special course)

Indeed The Itsekiri kingdom has a rare gem as their new king.

The Handel’s Alleluia Verse as a closing tune was just phenomenal

Long Live may he Live and may his reign be peaceful.

Neither can Love alone sustain marriage. The package asks for much more but not as much as cannot be afforded by people.

This woman stayed with him from when they were both in the university of Abuja. This woman is his ride or die, day one woman.

I wonder what could have gone wrong especially now that they have money.

I doubt that it is infidelity on her part cause she could have chosen to be unfaithful to him when he was broke. Why leave now that there's money if she was all about the money?

I'll sha be waiting for more gist as it unfolds.

Indeed, money alone cannot sustain a marriage o.

Well truth be told Akpabio is more generous in spending, but that is the state money that he is spending carelessly. Udom does not throw money around like Akpabio even his close Associates have said so. However, the question to ask is DOES GOING AROUND “Dashing” people money mean you are a better manager of resources? Honestly I still have not come to terms with the fact that Udom is stingy, it may be that he empowers people in other ways instead of giving physical money. Just trying to be objective here, Akpabio too is a man I respect notwithstanding.
NikAustine:
I'm not against Akpabio but you know Akpabio fans always chatise Udom saying he isn't working. He is stingy etc

I am an akwa ibomite though I am not a native. Akpabio worked in the state, Udom is also working. I am not a politician I can give a fair assessment and can confidently tell you that Akwa Ibom has been blessed with good leaders since the time of Attah who planned the state map, to Akpabio who built state of the art road to Udom who is doing his best to sustain the tempo...The Latest flyover he built is longer than the two Akpabio did in Itam.
NikAustine:
Are you an Akwa ibomite or you stay in Akwa ibom?

Allot of people do say Udom isn't working especially those akpabio fans

I don’t fancy cheating on my wife especially with clear eye but if I must I rather go for an older lady than a youngy. At least they know to respect and give you some breathing space as a married man than the young gals who will want you to share your time with your wife. My respect for my wife is aboveboard and I can’t drop it any bit for any younger person but for an older lady. After all in the dark all cats are grey.
