Guy if you want a real conversation we will have one. How did this idea of minority come about? There are nutcases in all ethnic groups, there are also sane persons all over as well, so no if you bring such issue I will ask you a few questions to see if you are sure of what you are saying and present mine and we close the chapter no need for banter. This minority thing was it not created by the military at the eve of the civil war to polarize the eastern region so that Ojukwu will not have strong control of the Eastern region, unfortunately they succeeded too easily. Who was Ojukwu’s second in command was it not Effiong? FFWD to 1999 The people that championed the further Balkanization if the states into the so called six geopolitical zones is it not our own brothers and the ruling elite of the other ethnic groups because of what they will benefit? The insults and hatred that Igbos take from other ethnic groups especially the APC supporters in the north and west is it not because of their support for GEJ a South Southerner who we see as our brother? So how is it that the people that should be your political partner and more is now who you perceive as your political enemy? Cletus77: |
I don’t hv to do that because I am not joining issues with anyone here. My own is that all these ethnic talk does it add any joy to your life or money to your pocket? I am in this state and what I said is what I know, no radio station will give you audience for such talks. This state is peaceful and we that stay here also contribute to that peace because where there is peace there is progress. As for people like you that like ethnic sentiments I stumble into some even in the office, I will use love and kill your hatred because light will always outshine darkness. Akwa Ibom People that have traveled around and mixed up don’t do all these ethnic this and that, it’s those ones that have not left their LGAs before. Take it or leave it Ethnic sentiment will not do you any good the same with the Igbo guys that indulge in it. NtoAkwaIbom: |
Guy abeg no dey quote me. Una Ethnic talk don do it’s becoming annoying LZAA: |
You Cletus77 you must be a human being that like to see others hating each other. If not you will not even open such a thread on NL knowing how ethnic talk of this nature can go. If you had created a thread that will offer good advice or generate positive talks won’t you sleep a happier human being this night? People create threads that will just serve to amuse even if you did not learn anything from it, is it not better than these insults and anger everywhere. |
Do you want the frequencies? Planet fm 101.1 call tomorrow on People’s Parliament one of the most popular radio stations and see how they will shun you. I am Uneghe (Igbo) living in Uyo & I have both Oron, Annang and Ibibio friends that will slap your mouth before you finish that nonsense talk because they do business with Igbos and travel out of their state to do business even in Anambra state. It’s slow people that are happy with this ethnic superiority talks. Most of the radio moderators in Akwa Ibom especially the private radios are too sound to allow you drag down their shows to this level. Cletus77 shut down this thread it is already creating negative feelings here. Are you happy about it? See how people are too happy to come here and indulge themselves. I am leaving this thread for good. GOD help you guys with your hatreds flying left and right. NtoAkwaIbom: |
You are just drawing analogy with words, that is very easy in real life the situation is that 1. by the time you do ecollation of that result whereby the LGTECH must check and validate the result as already snapped (The certified true copy that is the main result)At the backend the difference will be very clear as what you entered will be different from what is in the result sheet. 2. At the ward collation center what is in the SCR will be crosschecked against what is in the physical result sheet. 3. But let us take a situation where a particular political party is in control of a whole ward, at the LGA collation center the same checks can be done. What of the Party agents at the PU. The example you give is not possible in real life. It’s not possible to change such a huge number where a clear winner has emerged after counting of the ballots which shows that they have supporters in that PU. Any such foul play wil be at the expense of the poll officials life. So you have not manipulated the SCR which is my main point not that an election cannot be rigged, we know that elections can be rigged garfield1: |
You will see where I spoke to him too, please let’s tone down the mood here and chat like people that can still do business with each other tomorrow. One love Cletus77: |
Initially you were careful and selective with your words. Now you have thrown caution to the wind and started using abusive words. That is what and how Ethnic talk reduce and drag you down both spiritually and socially. What have you achieved with this thread? All these ethnic talks always end up bad let’s just avoid them. Cletus77: |
Oga stop na, you self no dey taya? No Igbo man wan dominate anybody, his own is to do his business and go & he knows that he needs a conducive atmosphere to do well in Business. Igbo man does not want to dominate anyone that is why he is not interested in creating empires . We know the tribes that are after domination. All these Ethnic talks don do abeg. immhotep: |
;DBut this is social media na. Me too na Igbo but I rarely engage anyone in ethnic arguments because it can get emotional & stiffle sense of reason. Just take things easy shaa na nairaland finally no body don drag your beloved Benue from you I. Real life apart from those herders and natives clash and even if they do with proper dialogue and settlements here and there you can still get it back. I actually love your energy but we can use it to talk about more serious engaging issues and learn from each other than ethnic banters.omenka: |
Guy you like Ethnic and Tribal talk like Hausa like Mecca. Mai can’t we have intelligent conversation like enlightened minds. Now Cletus77 just use strength that he will use to open a nice thread for good conversation for ethnic talk. Abeg Mk we talk better thing here na omenka: |
One of the Modern wonders of Nigeria |
Great, just continue that way and don’t run when you hit the coders block in JavaScript. There is that joy and satisfaction you will experience when you conquer bugs ![]() Goodbloke: |
Op this poster I am quoting has given you all the answers you need. He has some other suggestions that are useful too. The answer he gave you took me 1year plus to stumble to an industry expert Hanson Johnson who gave me the same advice. Case closed. The only thing I will add is anyone you choose to learn, focus on it and avoid the temptation of trying to know other ones until you have achieved your aim with the one you are learning . Amen, May your own dream turn to reality today o. Be sure to browse the web and check for the work that has the highest demand and good pay there so that you can equip yourself with the necessary skills, possibly you can even get a good job even before traveling. kingkakaone: |
Canada will be mine too in a few years from now, this ship of state is sinking kingkakaone: |
Honestly I don’t seem to like that guy, maybe because of the criticisms the other time. However, if his people says that he is performing that means that he is performing. The last time I visited Abakaliki In 2018 i saw a modern city, but I thought that was not enough what of other parts of the state that I may not know. I join Nigerians and other well meaning people to congratulate him. Jisie Ike |
Exactly, that was a source of worry to me too some years ago, Truth is that we have a very big problem in this country either way you want to look at it. Sometimes the situation looks hopeless. kingkakaone: |
There he goes giving you signal but you don’t see the green light, then he shuts down. I am a man & I know that men are different as much as women are. Is he a shy person? Even if he is not, try and understand your husband. An instance with my wife, though she is not a shy person on the surface but she is shy to express herself inside the bedroom but once I initiate the act she will take it on from there(this by the way is the opposite of my ex) Meanwhile, she will tell you that she does not fancy sex. So my advice is to try and understand your husband’s temperament and sometimes initiate the bedroom play & see his reaction. If no one is complaining about the once a month thing I don’t see how it is a problem. sweetmelanin: |
Nwanna Daalu very plenty. However, don’t make the mistake others have made when you make it bigger than you are. The thing dey touch for head, I am speaking with experience nkwuocha1: |
Your point is well noted especially the last but there is no correlation between going to school and being stupendously rich or wealthy. Education is to conquer ignorance and enlighten the individual. Truth is they don’t teach anyone how to make money in school. But they can teach you to be a better manager of men and material which the uneducated person can still achieve with experience overtime in managing men and materials. This does not mean that I am against education, far From that. kingkakaone: |
There are different stages in spiritual growth and maturity. Idol worship and recognition of the working of the forces of the elements is a logical step in that growth towards the recognition of the one true GOD. No people amongst the human race just woke up and came to recognition of GOD. Let us leave the Yorubas alone. Can you deny a Sango worshippers what they have experienced in their worship of that god. Even most people that claim to be Christian today are still at animistic level of spiritual development. The best sign to prove this is that many so called Christians profess Christianity but when pushed hard by situations they run back to the village to do divination at the shrine and solve their problems at that level (The best sign of what resonates within them)The greatest mistake the Missionaries made was destroying African Shrines and calling African Traditional Religion Demon worship. Paganism is not synonymous with Demon worship. If you wish read THE GRAIL MESSAGE and know the truth. Finally, the above explanation does not mean that the yorubas should remain at animistic level of spriritual maturity, Motion is a law of creation which like other laws we can only disobey at our own peril. |
At this stage, the way NK is going to international bodies to present his case is encouraging. He should go on this way until such a time when it will be either Or for Nigeria. |

Let’s be realistic guys we were more reasonable, and game was for men. It was used strictly for Students politics so that we guard SUG secrecy for when we want to do riot in school or go for NANS Campaign. In my deck I was about one of the youngest on board but we had respect for other people and human life. It cant occur to me that IGWE will encourage you to go after another student because of a simple disagreement or because of a babe. Cultism is not fashionable anymore, nothing to gain at least back then we used it to hold the VC & even the SUG Presido from misbehaving. The Presido know as e go be if he go and represent the wrong arguments on behalf of student. When we meet in the Compass he will be sorry so Order was Order and men respected other men no matter who they are bkos anything you know dem too know. That was then not now, Cultism is not fashionable guys if you are already in use your head and be passive, if you are not in yet then avoid it altogether, there is no point. |
So do you have any small ride I can get for 600K? GAZZUZZ: |
Oga Gazzuzz my friend is disturbing me to buy my Mitsubishi Outlander 2003 from me. I bought the mob earlier this year for 750K and I want to resell it for the same price. Is it a good deal? Everything is ok in the mob only the back camber that need either changing or work. I am in a tight corner now for cash, is it a good deal. I mean if he accept that price? He is prizing 650k |
There you go with Ethnic talk, now that is a total turnoff. Boringdraw1: |
Like you read my mind, that justice that your arrow points to is the real deal. How I wish people that know him in person are here to tell us about him. He is the real JUSTICE WITH CHARACTER DADDY2or3FISHES: |
APC, PDP all of them are selfish minus just a very insignificant few. One day they will all answer to the Almighty |
I am not a politician, I am an Igbo and I don’t like APC because of their hypocrisy but I like Osibanjo as an individual. His actions in acting capacity and notice that when the president was away that there was relative peace and progress because of Osibanjo’s approach to issues. Even as Tinubu’s stooge I believe that he will make a good President. If the president is like Osibanjo Nigeria will be better |
I bet you one, two or even three persons there will be innocent. You arrested people no investigation yet you snap them and put up as criminals even when they are just suspects. Even educated people on this forum are now falling for this bad media trial practice by the Nigerian Police & other security outfits |
