She was drugged by her Nigerian friend of 3 years, gang raped by her fellow Nigerians, 3 of them. She said this herself in her Facebook post. Please read the story before you comment next time. Ghanaians we're not evil like that.

But you guys can really insult o why Nigerians? The least thing people are insulting you left right centre. Why?People are too sensitive, too proud, too arrogant. I have a Ghana-Nigeria cousin who now live in Ghana and she's so proud/arrogant, talks to people anyhow, disrespects the husband, has changed househelps uncountable times etc etc. Why? Whats wrong with some of you?

Alero3Arubi:
Women have been chopping insult since time immemorial from husbands.

TravelRe: Is Port Harcourt More Dangerous Than Lagos, Nigeria? (video) by mdntiri(m): 9:00am On May 31, 2021
It's more common in Nigeria/Port Harcourt. I had never heard of kidnapping in Ghana until the Nigerian guys kidnapped and killed the poor Takoradi girls. I hope you've not "normalized" it. This violent kidnapping happened in front of the YouTuber, his windscreen was shot and he had to duck. He nearly died. He's never experienced this in his life. The "normal" Nigerian friend he travelled with became jittery/anxious/apprehensive and was always looking over his shoulder immediately they landed in Port Harcourt because he knew the nature of the environment. Just last week or so a Ghanaian-registered vessel was attacked by Nigerian pirates in Ghanaian waters and some foreigners kidnapped.

You guys should have a reign on your insecurity. It's beginning to affect the whole subregion

Hotel/restaurant foods and drinks tend to cost higher than roadside's. When Nigerians come to Ghana, they want to act big boy, take air conditioned Ubers/taxi instead of trotro(our danfo) which is cheaper and quite decent, they want to drink bottled water (you can do fine with our sachet water/pipe borne water), eat in restaurants (if you can cook you'd save a lot of money) etc etc. You'll just see your money go. Live like a local, but occasionally treat yourself to "luxury"

There's a Ghanaian YouTuber who experienced his first terror attack?/kidnapping incident in Port Harcourt. Somebody was kidnapped in front of him. He said his "normal" Nigeria friend he travelled with became "jittery" immediately they landed in Port Harcourt.

It's FAKE. His surname is Akufo-Addo. Full name Nana Addo Danquah Akufo-Addo. No Ghanaian would spell Ghanaian "Ghanian". Nana would never talk about another country in such bad terms especially publicly. He's been on numerous foreign talk engagements and people have asked him to bash/advise his colleagues Buhari, Museveni etc and he dodged these questions because he understands diplomacy. He's no saint himself. He's not America etc. We're also building our infant democracy

I have family there, they live in Ghana now. Don't be too "sensitive" about the envy. People won't get physical with you. We're becoming more cosmopolitan, people are coming into money, are becoming more exposed etc, so hopefully things'd impove

If a local Ghanaian is doing things anyhow in his own country, you want a "foreigner" too to come act anyhow? On a different thread, one of your brothers was advising his friend to come do galamsey when he clearly knows it's a serious illegality and there's a major clampdown on it currently. Your people freely advise your folks to come do yahoo yahoo, prostitution etc. We won't allow you mess up our country. No way

We don't do things anyhow in Ghana. There're laws governing everything here. If you'd come here and try to play your "smart"by heart Nigeria life here we'd make things difficult for you.

Havanatandt:
I stayed in Ghana for 4 years... I came back during the pandemic last year, if Ghana wasn't fav for you, nah CIV u wan go. My brother, u see that Ghana... Is better than CIV, you just need to know what you are doing. .. Ask me questions about Ghana, make i give you small tips.

As a sharp Nigerian, if you want to survive in either Ghana or CIV, Make sure you learn basic languages they speak... Make sure you live close to beaches... So you get to meet whites.. Meeting whites is all about creating a travels and tour business... Take them on tours, you do not need to know where they are going.. Google is your friend and use your Nigerian born instincts..

I'm Ghanaian. Nigeria would have more food varieties than Ghana. It's bigger, more ethnically diverse etc. You guys have beef powder, I've never seen that here. You came to Ghana, a completely different "foreign" country expecting to see your Nigerian eba etc? We don't respect eba, amala here like that. Ours is banku, Kenkey etc.

We've very delicious, nutritious meals. Some are an acquired taste, like the fermented banku, Kenkey etc. Lots too have to be prepared well to be enjoyed, or have a style to eating them. Foods like fufu, banku you swallow you don't chew. You need a local to help you appreciate them

With vegetables, leafy vegetables our people in our northern parts patronize them more. Get a good local to take you to some "chop bars" in Accra for proper Ghanaian cuisine.

Our chop bars/street sellers only sell the most popular foods, like fufu, banku with palmnut soup/groundnut soup, waakye, jollof etc.

Lol why are you sounding pained? You didn't flare up or reacted to the positive comments I wrote about Ghana because it goes down well with you abi. Nigeria is a country of intelligent people whether you like it or not, that's a fact. Yes Nigeria is currently undergoing challenges and we will surmount it in no time. Now going back to the varieties of food you said Ghana have more than Nigeria, I also have that thought before I came here but I was disappointed. Did you actually stay in Nigeria as you claimed because if you do you will see the difference in our food. Btw which state did you stay in Nigeria?[/quote]
PoliticsRe: New Nigerian Navy Ship Stops Over In Ghana. Greeted By Ghanaian Officials by mdntiri(m): 7:18pm On May 18, 2021
Ghana has not really had the need to increase it's military firepower.

Rossippy:
Use your head and stop being dumb.

You people claim you went to school yet you are SO ignorant.

Nigeria is BY FAR the most powerful and advanced military power in West Africa.

Her military is ranked 4th in Africa, while Ghana's is ranked 46th, below the Burkina Faso military.

Are you aware that Ghana does not have ONE fighter jet?

Are you aware that Ghana does not have ONE single warship?

If you don't know these things, go online and research the information instead of coming here to disgrace yourself and belittle your country, so that one useless small boy from Ghana will just enter here and be insulting you, and you will shut up because you don't know your own country.

Tufia.

The MAIN reason Nigerians are treated like dirt abroad is because Nigerians like you are too lazy and negative-minded with inferiority complex, to know your own country, and its capabilities, so you belittle it before the world, and make out that it's no better than Sierra Leone or Malawi.

STOP BEING IGNORANT.

Here is a list of the world's most powerful militaries. Nigeria is ranked 42nd in a list of the 138 top nations.

Ghana, which you say Nigeria cannot defeat in battle, does not even make the list at all:

Liberia and Somalia made the list. Ghana did not:

Op check out this YouTube channel ODANA NETWORK for lots of first-hand information on working/living in Ghana

ugom123:
With the rising Insecurity in Nigeria, is it okay to move to Accra, Ghana for a person not looking for job. Here in Nigeria, I earn between 350k to 450k monthly. And I will be completing my front-end development training soon. I work fully online as an animator. I am considering leaving before the end of the year.

I sincerely want to remain in Africa to build my tech business. I know that the earning is not much for now but will be increasing my income by the time I complete my current training. Is Accra okay: Security wise, education, civilization and health?
The gun shots I heard last night at my place scared me to my bones. Nigeria is truly in a complete mess.

It is a pity that our leaders have destroyed this country with looting, nepotism, wickedness and foolishness. I don't see this country rising again. I don't even want to talk about the rate at which people are kidnapped and raped on high ways and villages.

I'm Ghanaian. My Ghanaian aunt who's married to a Ghana-Nigerian have moved to Ghana, and when she's gisting with her kids in Yoruba it's as if they're FIGHTING. I'm not kidding. Even when they're gisting on phone it's as if they're FIGHTING. Up till today they still speak aggressively. In Ghana the Gas, who migrated from Ile Ife are the "aggressive" talkers. Lots of them are into boxing

NoToPile:
Never had too much wahala neighbors

1st apartment - block of flats , nobody has time for each other , we pay our dues to iyawo landlord Till we moved out.

2nd apartment -

only us in the compound, very quiett street. you we didn't even know our neighbors till lockdown that all the men started coming out for security.

But the compound behind us, they will always bang the gate by 1am, when everybody is sleeping everyday and their own neighbors will lock the gate maybe for security reasons, he won't even make attempt to call on phone and start banging gate middle of the night disturbing 2 streets.
Then one day kasala burst at 1am see fight between the night crawler and his neighbors since then no knocking at 1am again

There's a lime tree at our backyard that spills over to theirs, they will throw stuffs at the tree, do orishirishi, send their children to try and climb fence to pluck lime, okay pluck if you want to since the tree spils over to your compund, dont throw stuffs or climb fence lailai they must throw sticks.

I planted ugu and these peeps sent their children to use a ladder climb up and drag ugu to their compound, never seen this kain people before. The most annoying part is I don't even know these neighbors face to face.

The compound beside us to the left every 10pm one of the 6flats there pray, they actually use a gong during praise and worship that one town crier uses I think and I usually pity their own direct neighbors

The compound beside us to the right is a big church their kitchen is just by the fence, if they talk there its like in our rooms, always cooking something making so much noise. So apart from the mega speakers during services which has a time frame the main disturbance is this kitchen wahala which can be anytime.

The 3 compounds surrounding us have their own issues the interesting thing is apart from the church I can't put a face to those involved in these issues.

Wow fombi I'm Ghanaian. Those are some very strong words you used there. Yes there's envy here I won't lie, but we're becoming more cosmopolitan, people are coming into money, exposure etc so things are changing. The advent of social media is changing things positively the world over.

fombi:
My Ghanian experience is exactly as described. Most Nigerians in Ghana are there doing yahoo yahoo, they are very lazy, they want fast money hence lot of them are equally involved in yahoo yahoo, they are very poor, things are very expensive meaning eating well is a problem, there are no opportunities not even for their citizens, they are very envious primitive and uncivilized, their politicians and police are corrupt but not as corrupt as Nigeria's politicians and police, their electricity is quite more stable than I ever experienced in Nigeria, they don't have love amongst themselves, if you open a business as a Nigerian in Ghana and start becoming successful they'll do anything possible to destroy you asap unless your operating a mega business such as a bank, there are no jobs. Traveling back to Lagos from their capital Accra is like traveling back to Lagos from your village, doesn't have 1/10 of the opportunity in Nigeria most especially in Lagos.
Ask any Nigerian who has lived there, you'll find them say exactly same things, but perhaps in a different ways.
HERE IS THE BREAKDOWN:

If you want a place where you can do yahoo yahoo without being bothered by EFCC Ghana is your destination, even if their police catch you with enough bribe you are let go.

If your aim is to start and run a business there as a Nigerian, you will face a lot of hatred, jealousy, wickedness, bad mouthing, lack of growth, hostility, gossip, limitations and witch hunting. They hate their selves so imagine how much they hate Nigerians . I do not recommend it unless you want to go rent a place where you can be indoors most of the time doing your yahoo yahoo quietly.

I am a traveller. I have been to Ghana , and I regretted coming there. barbaric people , and very lazy too. Gladens your heart my foot. I laugh when i read that nonsense from you.
I have been to Rwanda, Mauritius, Benin Rep, and several other nations. This year ending, once asia opens doors i am going to Japan. I am not sure you ave been to any other country asides your stupid xenophobic ghana who hates nigerian men because according to your stupidity, we shag your women and have more money in business than your ignorant , drunk animalistic lots. Keep your Ghana. Not needed. There are apparently other better nations than that Glorified Guinea bissau u make noise of.

TravelRe: Best African Country To Migrate To by mdntiri(m): 6:12pm On May 15, 2021
What was your Ghana experience like?

fombi:
I have been to 80% of African countries apart from the ones in North Africa, and now resides in Canada. The facts is, Nigeria especially Lagos is the easiest and best place in Africa to become successful.
If you must leave Nigeria it should be for Canada, USA, Germany, Australia and perhaps UK. Don't do so for another African country you are just going to suffer yourself for less, and will definitely remember this message, it will be the mistake of your life as you will waste several years for nothing. Nigeria may have a lot of challenges, but it's still the best place to make it compared to other Africa countries.

Do you know of any Nigerian who returned back to Nigeria from another African country with success, apart from the ones who went there to do yahoo yahoo, or have you even seen them on social media? It is because the ones that left to these countries are suffering over there, nothing to show. I have witnessed it, lot of them want to return but have nothing to return to and don't have idea how to start over again, and have become primitive and backwards.

The List makes sense now. Throw that nonsense country away from your list.
People who dont like you, i wonder what you are liking them for. Its only some of their women who day try to see if them go lure Nigeria to marriage. Nothing special. Ghana is just glorified Guinea Bissau without the Cedi.

Your not coming to Ghana gladens our hearts greatly. Very soon the countries you're going to en masse and hyping would also be "cast" and they'd send you packing then you'll go live on the moon.

Obama30 read up the Aborigines Right Protection Society of the then Gold Coast and see how their advocacy on the Land bill of 1897 saved West African lands from being annexed by the British as happened in East/South Africa.

Nkrumah engendered the independence struggle in Africa etc etc.
PoliticsRe: South Africa, Kenya, Tanzania And Ghana Ahead In all Economical Aspect by mdntiri(m): 9:16pm On May 13, 2021
Obama30 you should know Ghana is a blessed nation after God's own heart and would ALWAYS WIN regardless the ills you wish it. We've been supplying electricity to Togo, Benin, Burkina Faso since the inception of our Akosombo and Aboadze power plants.

All the 4 countries that share in the West Africa gas pipeline have part ownership of the infrastructure. Ghana has 16.3%, Togo, Benin both share 2%, Nigeria owns the rest.

Ghana does about 170 000 barrels of oil production currently, EXPORTING about 140,000 barrels. The 90000 you mentioned is REFINED petroleum that we consume. We import about 85 000 barrels of refined oil. If we repair our oil refinery/build new ones, which are in the pipeline, we can EASILY take care of our petroleum needs.

Nigeria that produces about 2 million barrels of crude oil, consuming about 325 000 barrels and refining just 35 000 barrels still IMPORTS 223 000 barrels of refined crude. You won't see that one to talk about.

Our cocoa is still patronized the world over and we're still number 2 world producer and enjoying premium payments for our unique cocoa quality. Yes galamsey threatens the sector and govt is working to address that. The Chinese have nothing on us.

We're the 10th largest contributor to UN peacekeeping. We're the most peaceful country in West Africa. Our diplomacy is very respected in the comity of nations. We're a small country but we punch above our weight

There's a mini Dumsor happening right now where old transmission lines are being replaced etc, after which the electricity situation would be even more improved. There's also a growing, vibrant body of tech/fintech people, animators here you can liaise with. There're foreigners from all over the world here you can mingle and "rub minds" with.

There's a certain Nigerian chef Sallie who're here to establish an eatery, you can follow them on YouTube. There're lots of Ghana-based Nigerian YouTubers Tiffany Eweka, Kenneth Nwache (KNT), etc that you can make enquiries from.

Accra has lots of beaches, restaurants, leisure spots, top quality malls, quality schools, etc to make your stay enjoyable.
