Lifeless man that appoints dead people as Board of Directors and also bans them from travelling.

Some of those suggesting folks vote Oby Ezekwesili, Donald Duke... are testing a sneaky way of helping their choice, Mohammed Buhari ride to easy victory. Some even pretend to mount a moral or intellectual high ground, announcing that they are "disappointed in Nigerians who want a thief" like Atiku as president, these folks who can't recognise the dissonance in such an argument coming from someone who supports Buhari!

Any vote, be it a protest or moral-absolution vote that goes to any candidate that is not from a party with an equal financial clout and popularity as Buhari's is a vote for Mohammadu Buhari; a vote that endorses the murders in Jos, Agatu (Benue), Adamawa, Nassarawa, Kaduna, Nimbo(Enugu) and anywhere else where bandits, Fulani cowherds men or whatever those roving murderers are called roamed unfettered while President Buhari and VP Osibanjo kept playing identity semantics. It is a vote against Leah Sharibu; a vote that sanctions pain and suffering; a vote that identifies the voter as an evil person who endorses the pains Nigerians endure since Buhari. You can give it whatever interpretation, but this is the truth.

I'm not a politician but I would do everything not to have PDP in Government in Nigeria.
The greatest tragedy that can befall a nation is for her citizens to suffer collective amnesia. I believe PDP believes Nigerians have short memories, if not, Ibori would not have been included in their convention committee and Jonathan would not have been allowed to talk (He ended up indicting himself as usual anyway).
For those who may have forgotten, kindly joggle your memories with the following words on marble and you will agree with me that what happened in Eagle square on saturday was nothing but gathering of rogues.
Happy reading:

1. I acted based on Jonathan's instruction - Dasuki

2. I didn't give order - Jonathan

3. I collected 350M from Dasuki for consultation - Iyorchia Ayu

4. I only collected $30,000 from Dasuki not N100m - Bode George

5. I got N4.6b from Dasuki for spiritual purposes - Bafarawa

6. I got N650M from Dasuki for my Abuja burnt office - Thisday Obaigbena.

7. I got N2.1b from Dasuki for publicity - Dokpesi

8. I got another N100m from Yuguda he didn't tell me from where - Bafarawa.

9. I gave N100m each to Odili, Jim Nwobodo Bode George and others - Yuguda

10. The president asked me to change N10B to foreign currency for PDP delegates - Dasuki

11. My boss asked me to get $11M from the CBN - Dasuki's account officer.

12. I got order from above to pay Tompolo N13B for Maritime university land. - Nimasa DG.

13. 950m was shared in my house -- Shekarau

With all this looting and many more revealed, some people are still shouting no sign of change yet, they even say it's political persecution.

But I believe, it is the right thing to do.
If you believe too, send this to other people to garner more support for the fight against corruption and looting in our nation. There must be consequences for such crimes otherwise Nigeria will not develop.

Politics › Re: Peter Obi And His 250 Million Naira Osborne Towers Apartments by meccuno: 7:45pm On Oct 13, 2018
[s] The Osborne Towers in Lagos where evil men pay Two hundred and Fifty Million of our stolen money annually is the issue of discussion today. Chief Peter Obi and a few others are the occupants of this evil apartment known as Osborne Towers.

Sure, at 20 Million Naira a month, Chief Peter Obi has three apartments in the towers!

Now here is the real information, each of the apartments has four bedrooms and two sitting rooms.

Why will Chief Peter Obi have three apartments at the Towers meaning he has twelve bedrooms and six sitting rooms? It is authoritative that the last rent of apartments 7A and 7B was paid by Peter Obi! The story of Osborne Towers will continue to explain the thrifty behind the saintly Peter Obi who wants us to believe that he carry his bag at the airport, books economy on air trips and and eats once a day so as not to spend so much money but pays rent of 60 Million a month on three apartments in Osborne Towers. He even want us to believe that he eat just one piece of kpomo in his soup for lunch! Biggest lies from the biggest lier of the century.

I am beginning to believe that Chief Peter Obi is not straight. If not, how can one be paying 250 Million a year for rent in a four bedroom apartment and still go about preaching saving culture. This to me is hypocrisy and idiocy joined together. Do Peter Obi thought that we all are fools? What the hell is wrong with Ngerian leaders. I am surprised that Peter Obi is not what he preaches. He is a stark opposite of who he wants us to believe he is. The gathering of the evil men at Osborne Towers has finally exposed Peter Obi and confirmed what people has been saying all along that he is the a human with the most complex characters. From what I have read about Peter Obi as a former Governor who lead the other Governors to court and obtained that judgement that forced Dr. Goodluck Jonathan to share our National savings, I am forced to believe that Chief Peter Obi is the most flexible mind ever to come out of the South East.

Allow me to borrow this line from Mr. Aghaduno that thoroughly describes Chief Peter Obi inter alia “The trouble with Peter Obi is that he thinks that he is cleverer than everyone else. He maintains a bland and colorless surface that conceals a grandiose interior. He talks with the voice of a woman in labor but carries a heart of stone. He maintains a well-cultivated religious outlook but his soul is the engine room of demons. The former governor of Anambra State reminds me of a luscious apple with a large maggot neatly embedded in its middle”. He is a contradictory person who will tell you a story in the morning and come out in the afternoon to tell the exact opposite of the story he told in the morning.

How can the world ever trust Peter Obi again? How do we believe him again each time he mounts a podium to display his craft of petty lies? Peter Obi should just disappear before he becomes an object of caricature. A friend once told me I want to do ‘Peter Obi’. I was bewildered but he laughed and told me that doing Peter Obi is just pretending to be who you are not.

Please the new generation should not do ‘Peter Obi’ as it is not in the character of the Igbos to pretend. Only God knows where Peter Obi picks his unusual unlike Igbo character.

DIPLOMA

Diploma in a layman language is a short term course generally up to 2 yrs which mainly focus on training a person in a particular field. They are one of the quick and best way to get a job as their course is more practical oriented. The importance of diploma as compared to degree is relatively less.

DEGREE

Degree on the other hand, is a long term course which varies between 3–4 years for bachelor’s, 2 years beyond bachelor for master degree, depending on the course.Degree provide more in depth knowledge about a particular course then diploma. Earning a degree opens more doors for opportunities as compared to diploma. In fact, various career options require at least bachelor degree.
Politics › Re: 4 Reasons Nigerians Cannot Afford To Have Atiku In Aso Rock – Tonye Barcanista by meccuno: 8:50am On Oct 13, 2018
[s]
quickberry:
Source: https://omojuwa.com/2016/11/4-reasons-nigerians-cannot-afford-atiku-aso-rock-tonye-barcanista/

I have been observing the recent moves by a former Vice President of Nigeria Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, who is also a veteran aspirant for the office of the President. Atiku Abubakar has suddenly shifted from his subtle campaign for President to what seem to be like an almost direct campaign for the number one seat in the country. In the Social media, some sycophantic groups and individual with inspiration from their stomach have been making noise by endorsing the Turaki Adamawa-perhaps, with expectation of gratification “when the time comes”.

While I am not against Alhaji Atiku Abubakar to exercise his right to aspire for the office of the President in 2019 or any office in Nigeria, I have the responsibility as a young man, a patriot and a youth leader in my own right to enlighten Nigerians and eligible voters about Alhaji Atiku Abubakar’s candidacy (just like I would to any other aspirant for the office).

I shall give some reasons why Alhaji Atiku Abubakar is unfit to occupy the office he is aspiring for;

1. Lack of Integrity:

During the period when he was the Vice President of the country, Atiku was appointed to chair the Petroleum Technology Development Fund by the President, Chief Olusegun Obasanjo. As Chairman of Petroleum Training Development Fund(PTDF), Atiku lodged over $30million and $164 in Trans International Bank and Equatorial Trust Bank respectively from the account of PTDF according to EFCC’s forensive indictment in 2006. In fact, ‘loans’ that yielded interest as high as 15% to the banks were collected from the said banks by Atiku and his proteges AFTER PTDF millions of dollars has been lodged with the illegal account. It was all business! When the deal was busted in 2006, Atiku simply said that he ‘kept the monies for safe-keeping’ and even claimed that he deserves commendation. He brought back the PTDF “capital” that he put in private account and benefited hugely from it.

Atiku Abubakar was indicted by EFCC, Senate, and a Presidential Committee. He is yet to clear his name. As usual, a court that he went to never discussed whether he was innocent or guilty, but simply said the FG Committee lacks power to investigate and indict Atiku Abubakar because they weren’t courts.

You may look these for reference.

www.saharareporters.com/2006/09/24/objatiku-scandal-what-efcc-failed-disclose-thenewssaharareporters
www.saharareporters.com/2007/02/28/breaking-news-ptdf-scandal-senate-indicts-obj-atiku-impeachment-motion-looms

It is a shame that we are in a country where we forget easily. Otherwise, how could sane Nigerians be asking for Atiku’s Presidency when Nigerians in unison were asking for him to come out clean as for back as 2006.

Apart from the PTDF, Nigerians are yet to understand how Alhaji Atiku Abubakar from a humble background became an extraordinary billionaire despite the fact that most of his productive adult life was spent in the Nigeria Custom Service.

There is also an indictment on Atiku in the USA, I am yet to see him take up the challenge to take a trip to the United States as requested by exPresident Olusegun Obasanjo in 2014.

2. Tribal Supremacism:

One of the challenge of President Buhari’s administration is that he is more aligned with his brothers in the north than with the rest of the country, hough Buhari has never hidden where is primary loyalty lies (his north). While many think Atiku is detribalised (we can only be patriotic and not detribalised anyway), the bare truth is that Atiku is a northern supremacist that believe that his northerners should always align with their own. Unlike Buhari, Atiku is pretentious about his- but his sin shall find him out.

In 2010, in their bid to stop Goodluck Jonathan from seeking the ticket of PDP in the 2011 Presidential election, Atiku Abubakar, Aliyu Gusau, Gen IBB and Bukola Saraki(now Senate President) all submitted themselves to Adamu Ciroma led Northern Political Leaders Forum to come up with a consensus NORTHERN candidate to upstage Southern Goodluck Jonathan. Atiku was eventually chosen as the eventual “northern candidate” over Saraki, who wasn’t considered “northern enough” by the Ciroma led Forum. Atiku led a campaign in the north that he christened “Naka Sai Naka” meaning “Northerners go for your own”.

The record is there for all to see http://www.bbc.com/news/world-africa-12193681

3. Insincerity And Deception:

Atiku is a very wealthy man no doubt, but of late we have seen a picture of him drinking sachet water aka pure water. When did Atiku start drinking such? Who is he trying to deceive? We won’t forget the N40 sacthet Milo/tea gimmicks that the Buhari campaign employed to deceive gullible Nigerians into believing that he was a “poor man”. We won’t forget the “akara” frying stunt of Mrs Aisha Buhari during the electioneering period in 2015. We should realise that when politicians are desperate, they take to any act just to impress and deceiving the gullible into giving them their votes. #NeverAgain should we be falling for such. It amounts to deception in the part of the elite to continue to use such gimmicks.

Also, Atiku has been making case for federalism and stuffs, but in ALL his years in Aso Rock as VeePee, he never initiated nor suggested such. In fact, Atiku was a very powerful VeePee between 1999 and 2003, as he was in charge of home-front while Obasanjo was travelling the world, yet he never thought of any pro-Federalism/restructuring policy. It is true that he fought against the third term agenda of Obasanjo, but we all know that he did it so that he can be able to succeed the president in 2007- he didn’t do it for Nigeria.

4. What Does He Have To Offer That He Can’t Suggest To Incumbents?

Atiku is part of the political system in Nigeria. In 1993 he ran for President, but lost to MKO Abiola in the Social Democratic Party primary election. In 2007, he ran for Presidency under Action Congress, but lost to Umaru Yaradua of PDP, and coming behing ANPP’s General Buhari. In 2011 he ran for Presidency and lost to Jonathan in the contest for PDP ticket. In 2014, he ran again but lost to Muhammadu Buhari in the APC primary, coming behind second placed Rabiu Kwankwaso. Now he is eyeing 2019! What is Atiku looking for after serving as Vice President for eight years? What did he forget in the villa that he wants to go back to get?

Atiku is already 70, he will be 73 in 2019, he is not an outsider of the system (like the American Trump), what does he have to offer that he couldn’t offer as VeePee? What stops him from sharing his “developmental” ideas to the incumbents since 1999 (considering that he was always in the incumbent parties)? What stops Alhaji Atiku from grooming younger, smarter and intelligent politician for the plum job?

Like I said earlier in my first paragraph, I am not against the right of Atiku to seek office, but I am against the idea of him becoming President. Nigeria cannot afford to continue to rotate failures and grannies. We need generational shift in leadership, we need to retire the system elite and bring him visionaries in 2019.

Nigeria has to be great for our own good, and we must make it great!
[/s] but Buhari is fit to be the president? mad people everywhere.

behosgroups2019:
As 2019 approaches, those who brought Nigeria to its knees, vandalized and wrecked it and left it for dead before 2015 are busy trying to weave a comeback mantra that will help them access power once again in 2015 after a disastrous 16 years trauma that left Nigeria for dead.

They are being joined in this vain mission by those who thought the coming of Buhari would shift the looting tent to their side and as it never happened, they became bitter, inconsolable enemies of the regime. Also in the train are the confused ideologues who have good intentions initially but are so disoriented as to be captured by the pedestrian feel-good stories of a utopia which Buhari would have wrought even with the fact that he inherited the most austere economic realities.

They have massed together to lead an erroneous chorus that Nigerians should vote out Buhari in 2019. Sho? Some of us who have been assaulted by this perverse gospel have asked why we should vote out Buhari but we have gotten no convincing answer than a rehearse of a more perverse narration of how Buhari has turned Nigeria to a land of hunger and misery and how killings have been happening under Buhari? Is that so? When you prod further, what you get is a string of poorly articulated narration of how life was a seamless bread and butter affair in Nigeria before Buhari came. If you try to run some comparisons to prove this story, they tell you to forget the past and face the future.

Truth is that those who weave sordid stories to make Buhari look bad are so afraid to confront the past, which itself introduces a huge paradox to their badly-arranged stories. Can you face the present and the future without excursing into the past? To them, life should start from May 29, 2015 when Buhari took over from the scandalous regime they ran. That itself, is a cut-and-paste effort to manipulate. It is as fraudulent as the claim of these same people that they have repented (and you ask, repent from what?) and their more notorious request to be allowed back to power. They are so pathologically hunted by the past they created that they make every effort to shout down any person that refers them to the hell they presided over here for a whole 16 years. They want Nigerians to abridge their memories and senses and join them in voting out Buhari based on their micro-managed but hardly agreeing narratives, which sees Buhari as having failed. Some of them are even telling Nigerians that Buhari has proven not to be the solution to our problem.

Since we have an Eldorado they claimed they did here in 16 years, which other problems are they talking about? Which problems are they claiming they will offer solutions to when they brought down heaven on earth to Nigeria n their 16 messy years in power? PDP claimed they did beyond expectation so why are they apologizing and telling Nigerians of their readiness to be born-again rulers if given back power?

But then, the question remains; why should I and other Nigerians vote out Buhari and bring back the locusts? Should I vote Buhari out because he is meticulously rebuilding an economy that was eaten down and ran in red during a providential oil boom? Do I vote out Buhari because he is frantically building up our foreign reserve that was so badly vandalized when oil, our solo export product, went at over $120 a barrel and the country was exporting over 2.5million ever day? Do I vote out Buhari in 2019 because he is achieving this unbelievable feat at a period the oil price crashed to between $27 to $50 a barrel and our daily sale volume was cut to as low as below 700,000 barrels a day because those that lost their power to loot saw oil facilities as one of the sectors they must avenge their electoral defeat on? Do I vote out Buhari because at this very arid economic turn, he is making the highest investment in capital projects?

Do I vote out Buhari in 2019 because he has channeled all the money that would have used to service the gluttony and bacchanal greed of party men, cronies, hirelings, friends, subalterns, bed mates and party members of the party in power and its government to critical capital projects that will drive the Nigerian economy? Should I vote out Buhari because he adamantly refused to bow to the pressure to sustain the corruption omnibus and ensure Nigerians live straight and narrowly without stealing from the treasury? Do I vote out Buhari because he has taken up the nation’s decayed infrastructures and is fixing them in a way no other government has done in the past?

Do I vote out Buhari because he decided to implement strict monetary policies to save Nigeria’s resources from yam eaters, rodents and plunderers who are anchoring the noisome battle for his replacement? Do I vote out Buhari because the treasury raiders who looted a richly endowed country dry before he came feel that he should satisfy their senses of entitlement and continue abandoning the infrastructure that should drive our growth as a nation? Do I vote out Buhari because he has stopped evil servants from operating millions of phantom accounts through which they bleed the treasury while we collectively suffer? Do I vote out Buhari because the economy is no more about looting, plundering, sharing and stealing?

Should I vote out Buhari because he has insisted that he will neither chop nor allow pests to feast on our commonwealth? Should I vote out Buhari because he insists that Nigerian wealth must serve us all instead of a ravenous few? Do I vote out Buhari because in a period of austerity, he saved states that went bankrupt when we were having oil boom and had made them solvent through prudent and honest management of our economy? Do I vote out Buhari in 2019 because he insists that Nigerians should work for what they earn? Should I vote out Buhari because he is fixing federal roads, the power sector, the energy sector in a way no government has done in the history of the country?

Do I vote out Buhari because he is no longer feeding corrupt-former leaders who not only looted Nigeria to the bones but insist on being serviced by what remains of the treasury? Do I vote out Buhari in 2019 because he is no longer pandering to the indecent corrupt interests of the legislature whose members are being ran ragged by frustration that they are no longer enjoying the bazaar as they used to do? Should I vote out Buhari because he is no longer deploying sacks of billions of Naira to bribe the legislature on sundry issues? Should I vote out Buhari because some of his party men who expected being spoon-fed from the national purse are disappointed he is not doing so? Do I vote out Buhari because those that stole the country to the bones and who thought they had escaped with their loot are being called by to return what they stole?

Do I vote out Buhari because the professional scavengers that flood around the seat of power with the hope of free-loading from our commonwealth have been made extinct? Do I vote out Buhari because he stopped the murderous escapades of Boko Haram that killed in tens of thousands, that took a huge size of Nigerian landmass and subjected the entire country to unrestrained attacks and untamed danger? So do I vote out Buhari because he is building the Second Niger Bridge for which past regimes duped my Igbo people? Do I vote out Buhari because he is building the enormous Mambilla Power Station which past governments played around with for decades without as much as turning the foundation soil on the project site?

Should I vote out Buhari because he is building massive railways across Nigeria? Should I vote out Buhari because he is meticulously building a viable economy from the rubble of the chaos he met on ground? Should I vote out Buhari because the vampires that wrecked the public treasury are angry and baying bare blood because, for the first time in the country’s history, they have lost access to the treasury? Do I vote out Buhari because the vampires that sucked life out of us especially in the fatal 16 years’ period before 2015 are wailing their eyes out and feigning hunger as an elaborate dubious project to take another injurious bite on us?

Do I vote out Buhari because he paid off trillions of Naira past governments owed contractors for contracts they used to enrich their members? Do I vote out Buhari because he paid off over N600 billion subsidy the past regime owed fuel importers and saved the energy industry from collapse? Do I vote out Buhari because he has rebuilt what remained of the four refineries that previous governments abandoned as scraps? Do I vote out Buhari because he stopped the payment of fraudulent subsidy to phantom fuel importers as was the culture before he came? Do I vote out Buhari because sundry, corrupt interests are no longer being awarded fake contracts where they walk away with the contract monies without even visiting the project sites? Do I vote out Buhari because he paid off trillions of Naira owed pensioners in federal government ministries, parastatals and agencies during our unfortunate oil boom? Do I vote out Buhari for the trillions spent on the most ambitious social intervention scheme to rescue the most vulnerable in our society, which is the most elaborate any government has ever embarked in Nigeria?

Why should I vote out Buhari? Do I vote out Buhari because he has stopped the drainpipe of freaky importation of freebies that served as feeding bottle for corrupt politicians before he came? Do I vote out Buhari because he stopped the importation of foodstuffs and through this bold action, has made Nigeria a sustainable agricultural country where citizens feed themselves? Do I vote out Buhari because of the agricultural revolution he is doing in Nigeria, which has seen the country unravel as sustainable food producer from its recent past as a top food importer? Should I vote out Buhari because he has made politics a non-rewarding venture unlike in the past? Do I vote out Buhari because he had securely locked up our treasure box and restrained access to it to even his appointees and supporters? Do I vote out Buhari because he is strongly ranged against the gargantuan corruption complex from which most Nigerians eke out a living?

These are just few posers I want those that have launched a project to get Nigerians to turn against Buhari. I don’t know of any incoming leader but I make bold to say that President Buhari has done far more than any other President that ruled Nigeria. I am open to correction by any person that feels otherwise and this would be done through telling us any president that has done better by listing what such president did. So are these reasons why I should vote out Buhari? Make no mistake about it, the project to stop Buhari flows from no patriotic reasons but squarely on the reality that Buhari has capped official stealing and plundering. It is for the singular reason that Buhari has plugged our treasury from these leeches that he is making huge investment in growth-driving capital ventures even when we are going through difficult economic realities because the oil we have, over time, depended lazily on, has met turbulent times.

So, on what ground will I and millions of Nigerians that endured very desperate pressures in 2015 to vote out the moths and rodents, not vote in Buhari in 2019 to continue the good works he is doing? Is it because the looters and their accomplices that neigh the country’s treasury have weaved enough incoherent and contradictory lies against Buhari that I will dive into a fatal voyage in 2019? Is it because those that ate down our country are breathing enough vain fury? Is it that we are simple-indeed enough to be taken advantage of by desperadoes that want power for its corrupt ends? Is it that those who raped and pauperized us before 2015 are right in their feeling that we are a simple-minded and memory-challenged people as to fall for any silly prank Never! I see no reason why we should not vote more emphatically for Buhari in 2019; not based on who he is but on what he had done with the mandate we gave him in March 2015 and based on the fact that he is the most assured hand to deepen the recovery of Nigeria and the setting of a credible template for the growth of Nigeria.

Obi1kenobi:
If Buhari resents Igbo people today, he is only human. I can't see any evidence that Buhari had a particular dislike for Igbos before 2015 elections. Sure, I thought he was your typical Fulani-Muslim ethnocentrist. But there was no indication he had a specific dislike of Ndigbo. If his previous alliances with Igbo running mates had succeed, we might be profiting as partners in a governing coalition today.
It was Igbos that ran stark, raving mad when Buhari defeated GEJ. Not even the Niger Delta - not even GEJ's Ijaw kin - reacted so viscerally and emotionally and bitterly to Buhari's emergence as Ndigbo did. I read unbelievable derogatory hate speech against the guy everywhere I looked. Then Nnamdi Kanu and IPOB came with their own brand of lunacy to further heat up the polity.

It might have even been tolerable if the bitterness against Buhari came from the Igbo elite, but it was a grassroots driven movement. I couldn't understand how we whipped ourselves up into such a hateful frenzy during and after the 2015 elections. I was basically a pre-school toddler at the time, but I'm not even sure Yorubas were that bitter when Abiola's election victory was annulled and he was thrown in jail. I still can't understand the root of such visceral hatred of Buhari.
sir, the hate speech was from all sides. not like the igbos started it. and i repeat that having a VP who is igbo does not make him one who loves igbos. i think you more than that to convince me.

Nigeria itself has no future. It's a sinking ship.
You think Yorubas don't already know this?
Good then we are on the same page. i am a realist. i guess we probably would get along real good.

Lol!
I never said we are hateful people. Politics is not about love or hate. It's about interests.

Our interests aligned with those of Buhari in 2003 and 2007 when PDP snubbed and refused to repay our loyalty, but we were too blind to see it.

Our interests might yet align with his again, should Atiku and PDP snub us again.

See, like someone said. Our interest shouldn't be whether Buhari is crashing Nigerian economy or whether Nigeria is getting worst under Buhari leadership.
Our interests should be these:

1. Can Buhari and APC guarantee us automatic Senate presidency slot, which as far as I'm concerned, is open, as Saraki had left APC

2. Can Buhari gurantee top ministerial appointments to our Igbo technocrats?

3. Can Buhari guarantee upgrading AIIA into real international airport and waving off bottlenecks the currently plaguing that airport?

4. Position in the NEC in Buhari government.

5. SE prioritized in infrastructural development of the nation and no longer sidelined.

6. Etc.

The above should be our interest and not if Buhari love or hate us. Or if he is leading Nigeria to doom.
If you are talking about interest then i would be forced to agree with you. but understand this,The igbos have no future in Nigeria.

Twice, he ran with Igbo VPs.
In 2003, he ran with Chuba Okadigbo as his VP, but we didn't even look his way, we had our head deep down PDP ass to look towards him.

In 2007, yet again, he ran with an Igbo VP with Ogbonnaya onu. Yet we chose to vote PDP, who snubbed us, by offering the VP to SS, on Edwin Clark insistence and vocal display of Igbophobia towards Odili.

Put yourself in Buhari shoes for once. Buhari is no saint, but we haven't been fair to him as well. He is a human being after all.

I think it's time we toned down on this Buhari hate. It's becoming senseless. Buhari is not the devil.
Even the devil, people still reach compromise with the devil.
because he had Igbo vps doesn't mean he loves them. and stop making it sound like igbos are hateful people. there is a reason why they dont really like buhari if you dont know please go back in time or read his recent and past comments about people he really loves. if you cant see that then you are among those igbos who are very naive about the relation of the Igbos with non igbos

God knows I sounded this warnings earlier in 2014 and was attacked for saying the truth. Thank God that all the fools carrying PDP on their head will now understand the meaning of interest. My prayer for them is that Atiku doesn't disappoint them, else many won't get hold of themselves.
Atiku picking his VP from the SW is his own cup of tea. And all those saying we will rather be apathetic than vote Buhari are fools. Big idiots and should stop speaking studiply in our behalf. These folks do not see the bigger picture with scenarios like this. The picture is that we are slowly learning the meaning of putting Igbo interest first before party loyalty. The Igbo nation should use next year's election as an opportunity to reinvent itself. If Buhari comes giving us a sacrosanct offer then Atiku should shove his impending SW VP in his ass.
Ohaneze has said it openly that the Igbo nation shall weigh our option before voting for any candidate and that the SE is not locked for any party. Even from consultation with Buhari so far our Governors and leaders are beginning to weigh their options. The same PDP that many of us are good to praise has shown a high level of disdain times without number towards the Igbo nation. Imagine for 16 years of PDP stay in power the highest position we could attain was Senate President and we saw how we got ridiculed with it. Now after supporting the PDP in their 4 years in abyss the same ridicule is raring it's head again. And somebody will ask me why I'm always fond of slashing the party. I don't blame these people it's the likes of political jobbers likes of Ralph Uwechue, Iwuanyanwu, Peter Obi, Theodore Orji, Pius Anyim and others who sold us cheap in 2011-2015 and please don't ask me why. It time we get our priorities right and think Igbo first. Our interest should come first irrespective of greed by the likes of politicians amongst us. And if that interest means supporting Buhari with a better offer 2019 so be it, unless the PDP mends it ways.
Buhari was never a toxic Igbo hater until last 2015 election, truth be told. Maybe the afonja's intoxicated him with their hate on Ndigbo or maybe not, we'll never know. But the truth is that the Buhari that picked Igbo VP consecutively for two elections still have some level of harmony towards us, that we must activate.
Igbo interest must always comes first, nothing like over our deadbody shall we vote Buhari, words like this should never condoned politicaally in Igboland because it blurs our interest.
Buhari was never a toxic igbo hater? are you kidding me?? huh huh huh

Mrblaster:
I was in a restaurant back in 2016 when the Biafra cries was still at a higher decibel. I told those who cared to listen that all those cries was politically inclined. It was as a result of a certain tribe's hatred towards the elected president. Only a man corroborated my stance while the rest thought like an average Nigerian. We are all , in one way or the other, contributory to our woes as a nation. You will agree that no sensible vis a vis wealthy man from that axis supported that agitation. They knew its all a farce that will die sooner or later. This thread isn't to castigate a certain interest but to tell you all that, there's no marginalized tribe, we only have marginalized Nigerians. The wealthy /political class see themselves as a side of the coin of Nigeria's national life while the talakawas/masses fall to the other side of the coin. This country is going nowhere if we continue in this trend. The earlier we all realize that the wellbeing of this country is a joint effort, the better for us all. I don't think a Nigerian who witnessed obj/atiku presidency will still come out to vote for someone like atiku. Buhari might be bad and faulty as a human but I'm telling you he's fairer than this man called atiku. Both of them are not anywhere near being a good leader but a sensible and just mind will choose Buhari ahead of atiku. Don't destroy Nigeria with sentiments because whether you like it or not, it will fall back on you. What's normal all over the world is abnormal here like stable power, rational thinking, good leadership and followership, fair justice, hope for the masses, dignity of labor etc. God bless Nigeria and long live nairaland.
