If the man is responsible and was involved in their welfare, it would be easier. Not the ones that would go dump them with grandma in the village. Anyway, apart from maternal instincts, I have noticed Nigerian mothers like to put themselves through some unnecessary suffer. Maybe it helps them with the emotional blackmail (after all I did for you). As far as the man is responsible and has the means, I will leave the kids for him!

As nice as this sounds, a lot of men can't be trusted with their own kids. They'll end up dumping them at relatives homes as unpaid house boys and girls, to be molested by whoever pleases. A mother who loves her children would never leave them to go through that. That's why most women are at a disadvantage. Na who care pass dey loose for marriage matter.

Queeneth Hilbert is one of Nollywood’s delectable
actresses who doesn’t take prisoners when it comes to
brandishing her beauty on social media. Recently, the
half-Nigerian, half-Lebanese beauty has been serving
hot pictures of herself on Instagram with captions to
whet all sorts of sensibilities while also in some cases
dishing out motivational messages.

But the one that really caught the attention of
Potpourri is the actress’ open challenge to any man
who desires her to come forth and express his
feelings.

“If you are crushing on me and you are not saying it,
my dear you are playing with grace,” she posted.
Queeneth knows she’s beautiful and doesn’t seem to
care whether you validate it or not, she’s confidently
living her world of beauty and God’s grace.

“Love yourself unconditionally, a kind of love that
doesn’t ask the outside world to confirm validity. The
way people talk about Queeneth being beautiful
doesn’t even occur to me. I don’t see myself as such.

All my life people never stopped telling me I am
beautiful,” says in a chat with Potpourri.

Queeneth Hilbert started out as a model as a mere
child but took to acting officially in 2012.

CelebritiesPeju Johnson: Sugar Daddies, Reason Some Girls Can’t Settle Down by Mecka(op): 1:16pm On Jul 04, 2021
Since the news of the UNILAG girl named Chidinma who allegedly murdered her supposed sugar daddy, CEO of Super TV broke and took centre stage of discussions, the issue of sugar daddies keeping side chicks has come alive with varying views and interpretations.

According to Nollywood actress, Peju Johnson, sugar daddies are the reason most single girls are finding it difficult to settle down and marry.

“Let me say, sugar daddies have helped a lot of ladies to live a better life, changing their lives for better and at the same time, spoiling many of them. They change the orientation of many girls about life; helping them to fund their lifestyles and this, has made it difficult for many of them to want to settle for normal guys/ men. They have made many young girls look down on their boyfriends because he’s unable to do what the sugar daddy does,” she said.

On the case of Chidinma Ojukwu who is in the police net over murder of her sugar daddy, she said, “ Only God knows what we don’t know. Nowadays, young girls can do anything for money, to belong or impress their mates. They are so desperate and just want to live the kind of lifestyles they see on Instagram. So, I think she did that intentionally, because why take his ATM card to withdraw money and also his phone, if she didn’t do it for the money.”

Peju Johnson started acting in 2016 when she returned from Egypt where she stayed for five years. Upon her return, the Ile-Ife born and bred beauty took a full plunge into acting. She has featured in many Yoruba films like Lekki Guys, Viper, Oka, Scar and many more.

Only an insecure man (which most Nigerian men are anyway) will have issues with his wife/girl being able to solve basic problems or face basic challenges without always calling for help!

It is this same reason that makes most Nigerian men scared of their wives being high fliers, achievers and career driven!

Only a woman raised with Inferiority complex and a poor sense of self worth will keep waiting for a man before she can do anything.

Personally, my hubby even prefers me dealing with our mechanic for instance, because I get better results plus cheaper prices. They see him as a big man, so whenever he wants to fix anything, they bill him. Something of #7500 for instance maybe brake pad for one leg, they'll tell him 20k. But if na me, I'll go buy the stuff myself and supervise them sef. Hubby doesn't have that much time, besides he's so cool with delegating duties! So even his own car, I take it for fixing, servicing anything. We'll just exchange cars if need be.

I remember when we were still doing our building project, many tasks that I was the one who handled it, many things I was the one in charge. Infact there were days I'll be the one to go to site and supervise/coordinate workers - mason man, plumber, electrician, carpenters etc.

Infact hubby never bought a single plumbing material! From pipes, to GP Tanks, to submersible pump for borehole, I was the one who bought everything, and they were top notch at good prices! I only took the plumber along and coordinated everything!

Whatever we're doing at home, hubby believes in doing it together, including both of us working on our PhD together currently! I could go on and on.

God knows I've got no freaking business with an insecure man, that will tell you don't do this, or don't touch this. I'm amazed when I see some women that would even say their hubby don't allow them drive, I'm like wtf!

Caveat:
I know some Broke ass wimps aka Red Pillers would soon come and tag my hubby a simp for making the home a place of growth and progress, but he's way more Alpha than they could ever be all their lives! Alpha is not subjugation of women, neither is it misogyny, unfortunately these retards can't see beyond their noses!

I'll rather be single than be with a man who limits my potentials or sees me as an object to be used and discarded! I rest my case.

PoliticsSenate Increases Fine For Illegal Importation From N1,000 To N1m by Mecka(op): 7:24am On Jul 01, 2021
The Senate on Wednesday passed the Firearms Act
2004 (Amendment) Bill 2021 raising the fine for illegal
importation and sale of firearms from N1,000 to N1
million.

The Bill was passed after it considered the report of its
Committee on Judiciary, Human Rights and Legal
Matters.

Presenting the report, Chairman of the Committee,
Sen. Michael Bamidele, said “the fine was pegged at
N1,000 in the extant Act which was not punitive
enough to deter illegal importation and sale of
firearms.’’

Section 35 of the Bill was also amended to impose a
fine of N3 million or imprisonment for three years or
both on anyone who failed to surrender illegal
firearms to relevant authorities whenever so directed.

“Clause 39 of the Bill, which deals with power to seize
and destroy confiscated illegal firearms, was amended
to provide for inclusion of other law enforcement
agencies besides the Police and the military.

“This is necessary because the power to confiscate or
seize illegal firearms should be all-inclusive and not
limited to a particular arm of force or law
enforcement agency,’’ Bamidele said.

The Bill also amended Sub-clauses (4) and (5) of
Clause 39 to allow firearms that are not of military
serviceable grades but are serviceable to be deployed
for use by Civilian Joint Task Forces and registered
vigilance groups.

This has to be done with the approval and supervision
of the Office of the National Security Adviser,
however.

“This is important because these joint task forces are
also funded by the government,’’ Bamidele stressed.

He noted that the Bill had become imperative in view
of the proliferation of firearms and the security
challenges the country was faced with.

Crime6 Inmates Bag Degree Certificates In Enugu Correction Centre by Mecka(op): 8:54am On Jun 30, 2021
Six inmates at the Enugu Correctional Service on
Tuesday bagged different degree certificates from the
National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN).
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that the six
inmates, all male, are currently serving their jail terms
with the exception of one who had regained his
freedom.
Performing the ceremony, the Desk Officer, NOUN
Enugu Correction Centre, Mr Kelvin Iloafonsi said the
convocation was to celebrate six students of the Enugu
Study Centre who had graduated triumphantly into
various fields of study.
“Today is a special day in the history of the centre as
it marks the 4th convocation ceremony to launch
another set of enterprising, dedicated and determined
set of graduates.
“It is another landmark towards ensuring
reformation, rehabilitation and reintegration of
discharged inmates into the larger society,” he said.
Iloafonsi said that Enugu study centre would be 10
years old by July and had recorded outstanding
achievements in spite of numerous challenges.
He said that 12 inmates gained admission in 2012
adding that it was extremely difficult to convince an
inmate to enroll into academic programmes.
“We visit cell to cell pleading with them to register
with us but their response is always, ‘we will go to
school when we get our freedom.’
“We never relented in encouraging them by
intensifying on our efforts to change their mind set,”
he said.
The officer said through their efforts one Adenyi
Theophilus who studied Peace and Conflict Resolution,
came out as the overall best student in nationwide
study centre of correction services.
He said he was later discharged and acquitted and
currently doing his doctorate programme with the
University of Nigeria Nsukka.
Iloafonsi commended NOUN for providing the centre
with 100 sets of computers in 2020.

“This act of magnanimity and show of unquenchable
desire towards ensuring that our students are well
reformed and rehabilitated has paid off.
“Our students can now confidently download course
materials, solve their Tutored Marked Assignment
(TMA) and engage in writing academic research
projects with ease,” he said.
He added that since inception of the programme, none
of the students had ever returned to prison as a
recidivist.
Iloafonsi appealed to individuals, government and
private organisations to assist them as their academic
auditorium had been overstretched by the current
population of the students.
“The existing hall was an old cell converted to lecture
hall and it has capacity to accomodate only 80
students while the centre has 245 students.
“There is need to declare a state of emergency on
infrastructural inadequacies at the study centre,” he
said.
Responding, the Controller of Correctional Service,
Enugu State, Mr Godwin Onokohwomomo commended
NOUN for finding it worthy to approve a centre in
Enugu Correction Service.
Onokohwomomo said the certificate would help the
inmates when they are finally reintegrated into the
society and a condition for amnesty.
“This certificate is internationally recognised and a lot
of people are struggling to acquire it.
“Therefore, I congratulate you because you have
distinguished yourselves and will make good use of it
when you finally gain your freedom,” he said.
One of the graduating inmates, Israel Godlove, said he
was excited about the degree acquired.
“It is not easy but at the end I am able to achieve my
dream even in custody; I thank God who made
everything possible.
“I am from Ebonyi state and I have spent 16 years in
custody. My first 11 years was on awaiting trial.
“I was on a death sentence and I have spent a year
and half before Gov. Umahi commuted it to life
imprisonment.
“I know that by the special grace of God, I will be set
free because here is not my home,” he said.
Another inmate, Emeka Okeke also expressed joy over
the degree certificate, saying it was the work God.

CrimeChidinma Ojukwu: 'I Dream About Usifo Ataga'. Yahoo Boy Indicted; On The Run by Mecka(op): 9:14am On Jun 29, 2021
Super TV CEO’s Murder: How I overpowered, strangled Usifo Ataga— Chidinma

Says ‘I see Osifo’s face when I dream’
‘Yahoo Boy’ indicted; on the run

Chidinma Ojukwu, the 300-Level Mass Communication student of the University of Lagos, UNILAG, who was arrested last Wednesday, over the murder of Chief Executive Officer, Super TV, Usifo Ataga, in a service apartment in the Lekki area of Lagos State, has revealed that she sees Usifo’s face in her dream.

This is just as more facts have emerged on how she murdered 50-year-old Usifo.

At a chance meeting with the 21-year-old lady, she said she wished she would wake up to discover that the whole drama was only a dream.

She said: “I have never had peace since the day I was arrested. Never in my wildest imagination did I envisage I would kill a human being. I see his face in my dream every night. At times I would be scared to sleep.

“I have been begging God for forgiveness. This is not what I wanted for myself. I don’t know what fate holds for me.

“I am also begging his family to forgive me, especially his children. Ah! God, what have I done?”
she exclaimed, burying her face in her palms.

More facts

While maintaining that she carried out the killing alone, Chidinma told detectives at the Homicide Section of the State Criminal Investigation and Intelligence Department, SCIID, Yaba that she was able to overpower the deceased because he was weak.

She revealed that late Usifo became weak after taking three wraps of Rohypnol while she took one wrap. She stated that she strangled Usifo before stabbing him.

Her claim has confirmed the Ataga family’s insinuation that Usifo’s neck was discovered to have been broken during an inspection of his body in the morgue.

Internet fraudster indicted

Meanwhile, detectives are on the manhunt for a suspected drug addict and internet fraudster (names withheld), who Chidinma claimed to have assisted her to falsify the deceased’s documents after she escaped from the service apartment in Lekki Phase 1, abandoning Usifo’s lifeless body.

She disclosed that the deceased earlier gave her his Automated Teller Machine, ATM, card to withdraw some money to buy some clothes but that she did not withdraw much.

Thereafter, she said she contacted the internet fraudster to help her withdraw more money.

As at yesterday, the internet fraudster, who got wind of Chidinma’s arrest, had bolted from his abode. But the Police assured they would get him to answer questions on what he knew about Usifo’s death.

Police beef security

Meanwhile, Police have beefed up security around the suspect to avoid any situation that could truncate investigation.

As at yesterday (Monday), only her father was allowed to visit her. Journalists were also barred from speaking with her.

This move, according to Police sources, was also aimed at avoiding a situation whereby any untoward incident will happen to her. For instance, her food is served by the Police, as outsiders are barred from bringing in food for her.

EducationInsecurity: Ibadan Polytechnic Suspends Public Activities Indefinitely by Mecka(op): 11:36am On Jun 28, 2021
The management of The Polytechnic, Ibadan, Oyo State,
has ordered the indefinite suspension of both academic and non-academic activities on the campus.

A statement shared with PREMIUM TIMES on Sunday
by the institution’s spokesman, Adewole Soladoye,
however, gave exemption to the ongoing
examination at the school.

The statement, which was dated June 26 and signed
by the institution’s registrar, Modupe Fawale, said
“all public activities including conferences, seminars
and workshops in the institution and its
environment remain suspended until further notice.”

“The only activity permitted to take place is the
ongoing second semester examinations,” it added.

Reasons for action

The management said in the statement that “the
decision is part of efforts to monitor the security
temperature within the Institution and its
environment,” adding that it is also “part of efforts
to curtail and monitor the continued Covid-19
precautions.”

“By this, all Deans of Faculties, Directors, Heads of
Departments, religious bodies, Students’ Union,
students’ Representative Council, all staff and
members of the public are to kindly abide by this
directive which takes effect from Sunday, 27th of
June, 2021,” it concluded.

Though the school management was vague in its
reasons for the action, the decision may not be
unconnected with the rampaging violence in Ibadan,
the Oyo State capital.

PREMIUM TIMES has consistently reported the raging
violence purportedly spearheaded by some notorious
transporters in the state, which has claimed more
than five lives.

On June 16 mayhem broke out in Iwo Road, a
popular neighbourhood in the city, leading to the
death of a young man who was later identified
simply as Rahmon.

Shop owners in the area had engaged members of
the park management system (PMS) which is led by
a popular thug in the state, Mukaila Lamidi, who is
popularly called Auxiliary.

The state governor, Seyi Makinde, had appointed Mr
Lamidi to manage the public transport parks in the
state following the ban placed on the activities of the
state’s chapter of the national union of road
transport workers (NURTW).

Following Mr Rahmon’s killing, the residents and his
relatives took his body to the government house at
Agodi and demanded to see Mr Makinde.

But a day after the incident, six persons were also
reportedly killed in a gang crisis between youth of
Inalende, Abebi and Oopo areas of the city.

Possible cult attack

Some sources at the school, who do not want to be
quoted to avoid victimisation, have also linked the
management’s decision to possible violent attacks by
cultists.

The sources said it is customary on the campus for
cultists to strike during examinations for various
reasons.

“The fact is that some students who may have been
declared wanted by rival gangs would be expected to
come to school to sit examinations and those looking
for them would show up to carry out their threats.

Another reason is that cultists don’t always want
examinations to hold because they are never
prepared and would always want to use
mercenaries,” one of the sources said.

But the school’s spokesman did not pick his calls
when our reporter tried to seek further clarifications
on the sudden decision taken by the school.

PRESIDENT Muhammadu Buhari on Sunday told the
Niger Delta militant group operating on the platform of the Niger Delta Avengers, NDA, that his response to the demands they had made rendered any sabre-rattling rather unnecessary
President Buhari was responding to the recent threat by the militant group to resume hostility and cripple the economy if the federal government failed to address the ten points demand the Niger Delta people had made few years back.

The group had threatened to declare return of
violence with ‘Operation Humble’ and ground key oil assets to bring the nation’s economy on her kneels, alleging that after four years of cease fire, the federal government was unwilling to meet its
demands.

NDA, had in a statement on its website on Saturday
said with the nation even at the brink of
disintegration, the federal government had continued
to feed fat on Niger Delta’s oil wealth with the
region still worst neglected.

The group had declared, “We decided to suspend
our famous Operation Red Economy which bled the
Nigerian economy into recession about 4 years ago
not because we are lazy but for the love we have for
our people and out of respect for the voice of
elders of the Niger Delta who beckoned on us to
give peace a chance and avail government time to
act on our demands at the time.

“To remind this failed government that we have
exhausted the very last iota of patience, the High
Command of the Niger Delta Avengers have in a
meeting held last night made some critical
resolutions.

“First, that we have lost total confidence on all
socio-cultural groups like PANDEF, the elders of
Niger Delta and the bunch of so called ex-agitators
frolicking with the Government at our detriment.

“This operation shall be coded OPERATION
HUMBLE aimed at bringing down target oil
installations capable of humbling the economy into
permanent recession.

“This mission is also targeted at political actors
collaborating with the Nigerian government to
undermine the interest of the Niger Delta people.
“No doubt, Nigerian Government continues to pay
deaf ears to our demands and rising challenges in
the country because the pipelines that crisscross
our lands are left untouched, allowing dollars to
flow into the federal treasury on daily basis for
mismanagement.
“We shall spare no oil installation within our range
of strategic targets for destruction in the coming
days and we bet the Nigerian Government will be
humbled to return to the drawing board and chart an
all-inclusive course by the time we are done with
our action plan.

“Our strike teams across the Niger Delta are
commanded to be on red alert awaiting precise
strike plans as mapped by the high command of
the NDA.

“The high command of the NDA has promoted and
appointed one of our finest operatives, Field
Commander Tu-ere aka Queen of the Creeks to the
rank of Brigadier General.

“She is an experienced field agent who before now
was the head of the counterintelligence unit of the
NDA, using her connections with top government
and security officials to deliver on her assignment.
“She was part of our elite Strike Teams that
attacked and took down the Chevron Valve platform
on the 4th of May, 2016; the Shell Forcados 48-inch
Export line on the 3rd of June, 2016; and the Exxon
Mobil Qua Iboe 48 Crude Oil Pipeline on the 11th of
July, 2016.

“Brig. Gen. Tu-ere is the first female to ever attain
this level and it is solely out of merit, and is placed
in charge by the High Command of the NDA to
execute operation humble to the later.

“We state unequivocally that we are back with
Operation Humble to humble the economy into
permanent recession and political players from the
Niger Delta extraction to political retirement.

“Our Strike Teams 01 – 09 and all other formations
are to regroup and remain on red alert awaiting
further command. No going back till Nigeria
economy is humbled into recession, never to rise
again.”

However, President Buhari in a statement issued by
his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Chief
Femi Adesina in Abuja, said that he had already
responded to the demands.

The statement read:” The media was Sunday awash
with threats and demands by a group, Niger Delta
Avengers, to embark on economic sabotage through
the bombing of critical oil and gas installations
unless certain demands, including the development
of the Niger Delta, and restructuring of the
Federation, were met.

“It is, however, curious that the threat was coming
less than 48 hours after President Muhammadu
Buhari met with the leadership of the Niger Delta
and Ijaw National Congress (INC), at the
Presidential Villa, and the germane issues had been
responded to, especially call for restructuring of the
Federation, and the inauguration of a Board for the
Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC).

“For clarity and record purposes, below is the full
text of the speech by President Buhari on Friday,
June 25, 2021, which renders any sabre-rattling
rather unnecessary:

“I warmly welcome all the Elders of the Niger Delta
and particularly the National Executive of the Ijaw
National Congress, under the leadership of
Professor Benjamin Okaba. I thank you for paying
this courtesy visit not too long after your election in
April, and swearing-in last May.

“I also want to congratulate you all for your election
and to add that a lot of responsibility is placed on
your shoulders, especially coming from the fact that
the Ijaw National Congress was almost without
leadership for some time.

“As the symbol of the collective voice of the Ijaw
people, which is one of Nigeria’s main ethnic
groups, the existence of a focused and people-
oriented leadership would go a long way in
articulating the demands of the Ijaw people and
making sure these demands are made part of the
national discourse.

“I particularly note your ten point demand to the
Federal Government in your inaugural speech and
assure you that this administration is frontally
addressing them.

“I am equally concerned about the rate of
environmental degradation in the Niger Delta and as
you are aware the HydroCarbon Pollution
Remediation Project has started work with
remediation efforts in Ogoni land and I have
directed the Minister of Environment to ensure that
the projects are implemented with a high
percentage of local content and inclusion of the
surrounding communities.

“Similarly, the National Oil Spill Detection and
Response Agency, under the same ministry of
Environment is working to make sure that oil spills
are reduced and new ones prevented. As you are
also aware, all the responsible agencies of
government have been directed to ensure that they
enforce compliance by the International Oil
Companies to international best practices.

“In addressing your call for immediate restructuring,
the National Assembly whose responsibility it is to
ensure that our constitution responds to the call for
a restructured Nigeria has already concluded
regional consultations and as soon as they finalise
the process, necessary action would not be delayed
on my part.

“In the same vein, your call for the creation of two
additional states and more local government areas
for the Ijaw people is a legislative matter, which
should naturally be handled by the National
Assembly and seeking concurrence at the state
levels.

“I completely agree with your call to allocate
operational licenses for marginal fields to Ijaw
people. However, as you know, the process of
granting licenses is guided by laid down rules and
regulations, most of which even favour local content
and local contractors. I see no reason why they
should not be granted such licenses if they qualify.
“On the issue of fair and balanced appointments to
reflect federal character principles, I re-affirm that
this has always been my focus and would continue
to be because I have always seen Nigeria as a
country where everyone should be given equal
opportunities.

“A contentious issue that has been a subject of
discourse amongst the Ijaw people of recent has
been the need for the Niger Delta Development
Commission to live up to its billing by delivering
the required succour to the people of the region.

Based on the mismanagement that had previously
be-devilled the NDDC, a forensic audit was set up
and the result is expected by the end of July 2021.

“I want to assure you that as soon as the forensic
audit report is submitted and accepted, the NDDC
Board would be inaugurated. However, I would like
to implore you that the Ijaw National Congress
should play a more active role in making sure that
the mismanagement that occurred in the past is not
repeated.

“I am particularly happy to note your call for
promoting ownership of modular refineries by the
Ijaw people and I will urge you to interphase with
your sons who are involved in the processes of
establishing these refineries, especially the
Honourable Minister of State Petroleum Resources
to actualize this quest.

“Like you well know, completion of the East-West
Road is top on my infrastructure agenda and I will
look to its speedy conclusion. Again, the
occasional disturbance by youths in some
communities along the route to construction work
would require your close attention and guidance.

“Furthermore, we have made considerable progress
with the construction of the Bonny to Port Harcourt
Bridge.

“I am very happy with the recent affirmation of your
belief in a United Nigeria and while I thank you for
standing with me, I will also implore you to use
your leverage in making sure that we keep working
together to keep this country a united, indivisible
entity, so that we can tackle our problems together
and overcome our challenges together.

“I would like now to commend Professor Okaba for
your emphasis on supporting the fight against
insecurity by developing internal control
mechanisms as well as working with other
institutions in the country to address our current
security challenges.

“While I thank you once more for this visit and I will
continue to count on your support as we work
towards resolving our current challenges.
“God Bless the Federal Republic of Nigeria.”

PoliticsThere Is No Better Candidate For 2023 Than Tinubu — Kano Group by Mecka(op): 3:09pm On Jun 27, 2021
A leading politician in Kano and
the state coordinator of Tinubu
Peoples Network (TPN),
Muhammad Tajo Nagoda has
declared that there is no better
candidate for the 2023
presidential election than the
National Leader of the All
Progressive Congress (APC), Bola
Ahmad Tinubu.

He stated this over the weekend
while speaking exclusively to
Vanguard and calling on
governor Abdullahi Ganduje to
accept to run as his Vice
President.

Tajo described Tinubu as what
Nigerians need at the moment,
considering the current problems
bedevilling the country
especially the sectional and
tribal sentiments aggravating
into calls for division.

He stated that Tinubu has good
political antecedents judging by
the way he enhanced and set
Lagos state on the path of
perpetual development as a
mega city in Nigeria when he
served as its governor.

He further described him as a
true Nigerian who led by
example when he appointed
people into his cabinet even
from other states and was able
to promote peace and harmony
in Lagos despite it’s metropolitan
nature.

“To us at TPN here in Kano, we
believe that there is need for a
proper choice of leader for
Nigeria in 2023, a leader with
the ability to articulate and
adhere to and advocate for
peaceful democracy in a
turbulent political atmosphere.

“We need a patriotic Nigerian
with vision and commitment to
developmental goals, a leader
that has set exemplary
benchmark in task of building a
nation.

“To us here the best leader for
Nigeria in 2023 is none but
Alhaji Bola Ahmad Tinubu. We
here in the north especially have
no better candidate than him”
the Kano TPN coordinator
declared.

Defending his call on governor
Ganduje to accept to be the
running mate of Tinubu, Tajo
dismissed as misconception for
Nigerians to be considering
issues like tribe and religion, as
against good records and
capacity to deliver in politics.

Such things are not mentioned
by the constitution as
requirements before occupying
political positions.

“Those instigating religious and
tribal sentiments above
performance and the ability to
deliver as seen in both Tinubu
and Ganduje are misconceiving
the reality in choosing good
leaders.

“What should concern us more
should not be issues like religion
or tribe but commitment to the
course of the people as well as
the ability to deliver, and this is
what both Tinubu and Ganduje
have displayed when they served
as governors in the two most
populated states on the country”
he stated.
