The Indians do cheat a lot when taking IELTS, they've got ielts miracle centers like we have for WAEC. Last year UK authority evicted some of them in UK varsities with these miracle center results.

This trend of W6.5 is really disturbing >:(. You see the Indians that can barely construct a good sentence devoid of spelling, tenses and/or grammatical errors hitting 7's and 8's in their writing and speaking. "I gave IELTS test last week..." instead of "I wrote/sat for IELTS test last week...", yet they do so well. I'm not hating though.

Could it be that test location is a key determinant to marking scheme? Could it have been a calculated effort at frustrating some people out of the EE scheme (I'd doubt this though)? Could it be some sort of revenue "maximizing" strategy by the examiners (this is Nigeria where such things aren't alien to us anymore)? How come everyone falls just below the 7.0 mark?

As it is a weekend now, let me put some info out as we are all learning.

Contrary to your view, there's no case of trying to reinvent the wheel here.

Only if we can get curious to know why some things are done they way they re done, then we will all agree that, though people take different routes, they still come to the same destination one way or the other.

Ok, that being said, if you eventually have time on your hands and can get all your B.sc, M.Sc, NCE transcripts thrown into the WES evaluation "cookinig pot", it will still all be evaluated one by one and come cooked as overall Masters degree Canadian Equivalency, see? Same thing with the guy that threw in only his Masters degree for evaluation.

In my case, I have envisaged that I'll be needing my transcripts for some pursuits later on in Canny, so what did I do? I simply "pre-loaded" all my transcripts for evaluation to WES- B.Sc, M.Sc, Diploma- all for the price of one degree (I used them as my transcript warehouse ). My WES ECA still came back as "OVERALL CANADIAN EQUIVALENCY- MASTERS DEGREE", See?

[b]Why did I do that? I'm not coming back to Nigeria to chase any transcript for that my future "envisaged need" or be calling one Bayo upandan to help me go to Exams and Records Unit to check whether my transcript is out I'll simply instruct WES to evaluate which of my transcript that I need, on a course by course basis and deliver to the appropriate agency, with minimal headache! I have just used "one stone to kill two birds"[/b]

Depending on the type of certificate you are evaluating if it's pg from pg school you are paying 5k before they reply WES but if it is undergrad you are to pay 50 dolls but people do tip those guys 5k and they'll do it.

Actually the marriage certificates issued by some Muslim organisations like NASFAT, ANSAR DEEN et Al are always the same as the ones you guys get from churches (licensed ones) and registry but not all Muslims weddings are overseen by these organisations hence lot of people get their certificates from unlicensed or unregistered mosques.

No offence to any religion but it seems it's mainly Muslims that have this your problem. Christian marriages usually give or you're required to get a certificate from the government too. But most Muslims just do Nikai (so) and call it a day.

He graduated from Bayero University but he is having issues getting his transcript sent. He has done his PGD in Nassarawa university. Is it advisable to just send the PGD and forget the Bsc. What is PGD equivalent to on WES.

Thank you all for the encouragements. My wife cleared the thing ooo. She received provisional test result confirmation via text message from the center we registered with. Note: Not in Naija, somewhere in the UAE.
Her result: L 8.5, R 7.5, W 7, S 8. Her age is 27 while I am 34.
WES evaluation ongoing. WES received all transcripts last last week . Wife's credentials - 2 years diploma in accounting and finance, 3 years BSc in Accounting. My credentials: 4 years BSc in Geology and 1 year Diploma in Microbiology. We are both hoping for 2 or more certificates equivalent.
Both with more than 3 years work experience..

Yet to decide on who to be the primary applicant.

IELTS is becoming an overall joke afterall and this is obviously not peculiar to Nigeria alone. Most likely, they do this on purpose just to ensure people keep comng back to write the exam. I gave up on them few years ago when I realised they were only going to turn me into a cash machine �. The minute Canada decides to adopt an additional English testing agency, the rocks is sure to be where they are headed.

Fill the details under personal history for Hajia's results and for the ref letter other evidences of work should accompany the letter, like payslip appointment letter e.t.c

Also, my partner did only IELTS but not ECA ecaluation. Will I fill in her education details in the EE application. She has an MSc degree which we didn't evaluate.
