Abeg, y'all shouldn't even bother putting up any resistance, no need to dey form 'strong head' or you'll just make it more difficult for yourselves. Sevije of Andalusia, I dey laugh ![]() |
I guess Maxwell will be returning to the starting line up tonight. Adriano did well in midweek but he was poor up front, especially his final ball. Maxwell edges him as regards that. Adriano just squares the ball aimlessly. Besides, Maxwell should no problem checking Jesus Navas who has been tepid all season. |
Results- Zamfara United 1 vs Kano Pillars 1 Kwara United 1 vs Niger Tornadoes 1 Dolphins 2 vs Enyimba 1. Dolphins failing to keep a clean sheet at home for the first time this season. |
chic2pimp:Who wants to stop Spain, she na Italia? hahaha usbcable:Which 'agbo' una give Benzema drink? Boy's on fire. . . You guys seem to play better without Ronaldo. |
I heard a couple of teams were banished from their grounds. Enyimba feeders and some other teams. I think it's because of violence. |
Nwaokike:Torres lazy? Then what do you call Anelka that expects the ball to be played to his feet everytime? Ibime:He lacks composure and his finishing is awful. |
Idowuogbo:yeah, I'm game! Spank her booty for being away so long |

I'm glad we've Pique back for the trip to Sanchez Pizjuan and as per UCL, he's clean. No Yellow card worries heading into the Q/finals. |

@honeric Almeria vs Atletico Madrid - Draw. Atletico are way too inconsistent. They've been on a purple patch lately and won their last match against Villareal 3-1. Almeria are at home and will be looking to get something out of this one as they fight to avoid the drop. Real Madrid vs Hercules - Madrid win. Zaragoza vs Valencia - Valencia win. Osasuna vs Racing - Draw Sociedad vs Malaga - Sociedad win. Malaga are way too useless. They can't win to save their lives and they are away to Sociedad that are chasing a Europa League spot. Espanyol vs Deportivo - too tight. A draw or a narrow Espanyol win. Levante vs Mallorca - Levante win. Levante are good at home and Felipe Caicedo is scoring lots of goals as well. Villareal vs Sporting - Villareal win. Villa's league form's been atrocious lately but this game coming on the back of their Europa League away win to Leverkusen, they'll be spurred. Sevilla vs Barcelona - Barcelona win. Getafe vs Athletic Bilbao - Bilbao win. Good luck. |

dayokanu:Yeah, Germany has got loads of young talents coming up. I particularly like the Bender twins and Goetze but I think Howedes is just okay. Spain has got a great amount of youngsters too. Those guys that won Silver at last year's Euro U-19, extremely talented guys: Oriol Romeu, Sarabia, Isco, Moratta, Calivente, de Gea, Munain, Thiago, Canales, etc, can break into almost anyteam in Europe and that's leaving out Cazorla, Negredo, Valero, Mata, Pedro, Pique, that have made a name for themselves already. Again, Spain is always there or there about when it comes to youth football in Europe and the world and what this translates to is layers of talented youngsters all over the league. I think Spain will dominate world and European football for a long time to come because the current golden generation have a pack of hugely talented youngsters waiting behind them to takeover. The transition will be almost seamless. The oldest among Spain's WC winning team is Juan Capdevilla(33). Behind him there are: Antonio Lopez(ATL MAD), Didac Villa(AC MIL), Jose Enrique(Newc), Arbeloa(R MAD); all playing at the top level, waiting to take over. It's pretty much the same thing in every other department. |
Pharoh:Yeah, I saw the game. I'm happy the Yellow Subs could pull off a win away, a couple of their key players were rested. Leverkusen now have to score two unreplied goals at Madrigal; very difficult task. If Liverpool and City get knocked out, then Villareal will have a very good chance of winning the EL honeric01:hmm. . . Is it correct scores or just winners? Again, there are 10 games there, some will definitely end up being draws. . . Success anyway. Incase it clicks, I dey o ![]() |
It's best you move on. Why love someone that doesn't feel the same way about you? |

^^ Go check the stats again. Inter had a shot on target. Arsenal first Champions League without a shot at goal – Opta statshttp://sportingalert.com/2011/03/arsenal-first-champions-league-without-a-shot-at-goal-opta-stats/ |
Congrats Manmustwac and all the other Spurs fans even though the win was undeserved. At least, you showed determination unlike your neighbours that became the first team in the history of the CL not to get a shot on or off target. |
If that ball from Wilshere had fallen for van Persie, it would have landed on his right. Wilshere dispossesed Adriano down the right flank and if he had squared it to vP, it would have landed on vP's right, his weaker foot and with Mascherano breathing down his neck, just a few seconds behind him. van Persie would have had to control on his right and bring it to his left and Mascherano would have dispossesed him. If van Persie took it first time on his right, he would have missed(fact!). Besides, you can't rule out a Valdes save. |
@ bluetooth: There are arms everywhere. The LRA in Uganda, FLEC in Angola, The Somali Pirates, MEND and its other factions in Nigeria, are all armed to the teeth, can we now say they are all being provided arms by the West? It's annoying when we cook up conspiracy theories to indict the West and pay blind support to rogues in the name of standing up against the West. Besides, there've always been intermitent uprisings against Gadaffi in Libya. Benghazi, has always been a volatile region. All these talk of the West arming the people to turn against Gadaffi just don't hold water. What is happening in Libya is nothing more than people fighting to oust a dictator and a politcal dynasty structured around Gadaffi and his family, a fight for change like it had happened in Tunisia and Egypt. The truth is, if the West do not move in now, Gadaffi will kill and kill, till he's secure. Like he said "thousands would die" if the protests did not stop. |
I don't believe this story. I know people have raised concerns about the state of his mental well being but roaming the streets? Haba now! |
I think Schalke are the first BL team since '02, apart from Bayern to reach the CL last 8. |
I'm quite wary of Shakthar. We've never had it easy against them. In the UEFA Super Cup, it took a Pedro extra time goal to see them off. They also defeated us in the group stage of 08 CL. Besides, I'm sure we"ll have to play the first leg of our Q/final match at home and this means, God forbid, we don't get a good result at home in the first leg, the deciding leg will be away. The last time Shakthar lost at home in Europe was October, 2008. Donetsk is not the kind of place you'd want to get a result. Bring on any other team. Schalke and Tottenham, preferably. |
Unverified conjectures. . . The world is actually praying for the West to move in and put an end to the situation in Libya. Do you know that Libya are not in good terms with most of the other Arab nations and as a result, these arms could be from the Middle East? |
I think guys hear have been into too much anti West conspiracy theories lately. For heavens sake, Gadaffi is killing people on a daily, the death toll since the uprising is over 3,000 and it's funny how some think it's about the West trying to impose capitalism upon Libya. The fact is that private ownership is allowed in Libya, albeit, not on a large scale. Gadaffi has been in power for 42 years, the people want him out, not the West. This also isn't the first time the people are revolting against Gadaffi's government. There have been intermitent uprisings in the past but this time, the people have had it. |
